Major corporations quickly came out with announcements of pausing donations to Republican lawmakers who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s election victory in January. Specifically, the closing of the corporate coffers was a reaction to the Capitol Hill riot on January 6. Now there is a House race in Iowa which Democrats are trying to steal from the Republican who has been certified by state officials as the winner. Senate Republicans, including Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, now demand that turnabout is fair play. If the corporations making a statement against overturning the results of an election are sincere, it should not be a problem

This is to be followed by the writing of sternly worded letters, a Republican specialty.

There's an investigation of the election between Tenny (R) and Brindisi (D) too. Nancy will see to it that this election is overturned too. Fraud, thy name is the DNC and Piglousi.

Like they were gonna give much to the Republicans anyway.
Maybe Mitch's family's pocketbook (and a few RINOs) would take a hit, but that's about it.

Mitch trying to regain some authority. It is not working. You did nothing for years, Mitch. The people could not get rid of you, because you sold out to the Chinese, who have paid you well. You thought your could get rid of Trump, and restore the old uniparty glory, but that failed. All it did was earn you the rejection of the party you need to stay in office.

Question; How much more evidence that Businesses, including Corporations, need to be prevented from giving 'bribe' money to politicians? Or at least to be limited to a small amount per year.
And yes, I do know I'm whistling in dixie!! But at least I can HOPE!!!

#8, your comment, once again, confirmed that McConnell and his ilk are the reason the country is on the road to ruin. It breaks my heart to know that there are men and women we have elected who put their own selfish interests above that of this country. The nation is in crisis like never before. We are on the brink of destruction with little hope that the nation can be saved and all because of individuals like Mitch McConnell did nothing. They allowed evil to prosper and we are now reaping the whirlwind. It is too late now for McConnell to try and reclaim any sense of integrity.
I will once again quote John Adams, “ Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Excellent #11. Not only in my opinion was that the best Star Trek movie starring Shatner and company it is the perfect quote to sum up that feckless fool McConnell.

It's Mitch channeling McQueeg; as effective as an icebox emptied of its strawberries only this time Mitch gave the Marxists his key.

Oh that's rich....turtle getting outraged over an election being lost by a republican.
Well I suppose this one affects turtle's power in a negative way.
He didn't mind a bit when Trump had had an election stolen.

Two possibilities here. The first is that The Turtle just got stung by The Scorpion dems, after they promised that stealing the presidential election would be just that one time. Or more likely, Mitch is pontificating and posturing publicly, while privately either complicit or apathetic about yet another dem steal. I don’t for one minute believe he is invested in stopping it.

Whoa! That's telling them off, Mitch. I'll bet that stung. Might even leave a bruise. Naw.
What's even funnier is that Mitch probably really thinks he has clout with any Corporation not run by the Chi-Coms. I'm sure his letter brought a chuckle to the CEO's getting it.

McConnell told US that he accepted the word of Manchin and Sinema that the filibuster would not be changed. His wife was the first to resign after Jan 6. Mitch condemned the Patriots that were trying to send the election back to the state legislatures after the turncoats of the SCOTUS refused to settle the election dispute presented by Texas and many other states. We were left alone and now have 300 political prisoners in D.C. versus 0 of the Antifas that organized the break-in. From now on Patriots will donate to Donaldjtrump.com instead of RNC, RNSC and RNCC. That is our revenge. Mitch helped steal the election and must be punished. Since the Déplorables are workers that held 401ks through the Trump years our financial might is yuge.
