From the very first moment of Biden’s first press conference, one could tell that the days of Trump press conferences were gone. You remember those days, don’t you? Gotcha questions, lectures, fights, interruptions, blatant disrespect – not from Trump, but from the media. It was they who created a sense of chaos and divisiveness, not Trump. It was very different this time. The media were on their best behavior but even they couldn’t protect Biden from himself. Other posts here address more substantive issues raised in the press conference. This is just about style points for both Biden and the media.

I endured fifteen minutes of Joe's blathering and it consisted not of things he has done but of things he is going to do. That and taking credit for the progress Donald Trump had made on developing the vaccine. Oh and of course Joe had to lie about what he did not do and blamed his border crisis on you know who. Pretty much what we expected.

What was with the media seating being spaced out the way it was? Looks as if they were 10-12 feet apart. Looked like Covid propaganda - the ultimate social distancing! Surprised Lyin' Biden didn't keep his trademark black mask on the whole time.

Biden said that he would not stop any “unaccompanied” illegal alien minor from unlawfully entering the USA thus effectively signaling the world that it is in their best long-term interest to send their minor children to the US borders, as when the illegal alien children arrive at the borderline he will allow them into the USA. Those comments by Biden serve to undermine the immigration law passed by Congress that makes it unlawful for any alien to enter the USA other then at a US Port of Entry after being inspected and admitted by a US immigration officer in accordance with that law. Biden has also said that he will not stand in the way of those illegal alien children being joined in the USA by their alien parents and that he has no plans to thereafter remove them from the USA in the future. Remember there are over a billion of more foreign children now residing in foreign countries all over the world who Biden would potentially allow into the USA if they were to appear at America’s borders, and that is about three times the current total adult and minor population of the USA. Obviously Biden essentially believes that he has assumed the office of Pope rather than President of the USA.

Assume, arguendo (for the sake of argument) that the 9 year old boy crossed the border, traveling alone, from Honduras, and his parents didn't know where he was. Why in the world would the U.S. government not send the boy back to Honduras? Back to the loving arms of his parents? What the hell is wrong with Dementia Jo? (never mind.)

Pre-selected reporters, pre-subitted questions, no follow up questions, and no conservative reporters called upon. That was not a press conference, that was a press con job.

Successfully shaking down the federal government for 9 figures’ worth of additional funding, they have ignored the science that says young children are at almost no risk from Covid.
