CNN anchor Chris Cuomo said on Monday night that he was aware of the accusations about his brother, after a third woman came forward to accuse Andrew Cuomo of sexual misconduct.'Obviously I am aware of what is going on with my brother,' said Chris, 50. 'And obviously I cannot cover it because he is my brother. Now, of course CNN has to cover it. They have covered it extensively and they will continue to do so.'He then moved on, having thanked his audience 'for being straight with me, and I've always been straight with you'. He said he 'always cared very deeply about these issues, and profoundly so.

We’re now six weeks or so into the sham presidency of Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr., and already the end of the Biden Era seems near.
A bumbling shell of a man, constantly attended by his wife, Jill, and with the lengthening shadow of his vice president, Kamala Harris, looming in the background, Biden seems incapable of doing anything except signing the slew of executive orders his handlers shove under his nose until at last, exhausted, his team “calls a lid” on his workday and packs him back off upstairs at the White House for a nice lie-down before noontime.

If you consult the mainstream news media on a regular basis, you’ve probably heard that last Thursday was a red-letter day in American history – an occasion for dancing in the streets from Bangor to Burbank, and for socially distanced champagne toasts from Key West to Ketchikan. Why? Because, for the first time ever, a transgender nominee for a government office was up for Senate confirmation. That nominee was Dr. Rachel Levine, President Biden’s pick for Assistant Secretary for Health.
Is Rachel a great, or even a competent, physician? Who cares? It’s 2021, and Rachel is trans!

Former New York Times science and health reporter Donald McNeil has released his version of the events that led up to his departure from the newspaper in a four–part post on Medium, pushing back against the allegations against him, cataloging a variety of grievances against the Times, and implying that he had been unfairly disciplined by Times management, perhaps because of his actions during union contract negotiations.
The Daily Beast reported in January that McNeil, as a Times representative on a 2019 trip with students to Peru, was accused of using racist language, making sexist remarks, not respecting local customs, and stereotyping Black teenagers while on the trip.

But what are some of the folks in the rest of the world thinking about him? They can see everything we’re seeing and see it without having the 24/7 American mainstream media trying to spin it. At least some of them are seeing it and are worried.
Here’s Paul Murray on his show from Australia via Sky News interviewing the NY Post’s Miranda Devine and they spoke about their concerns that he was cognitively impaired. Murray claimed that Biden was “wilder than Obama was” in terms of some of the policy things he was pushing

Significant legislative attempts are underway in multiple U.S. states, including key battleground states, to roll back major changes in voting rules and regulations to various pre-2020 status quo antes. The efforts come after an historically chaotic election process that has left millions of Americans doubtful of election fairness, security, transparency and accountability.
Changes to election rules — some of them enacted prior to 2020 and others put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic last year — have included expansive mail-in voting, expanded early voting, relaxation of verification rules, and extensions to ballot receipt deadlines. Those rules likely contributed to a

A massive new national project called “Educating for American Democracy” will be launched on Tuesday with the explicit aim of “redefining” and then “harmonizing” American civic education nationwide.
From the days of Thomas Jefferson, Noah Webster, Horace Mann, and the McGuffey readers to Ronald Reagan’s farewell address and the controversy over national history standards, citizenship education (broadly understood) has always been a vital function of American schools for the perpetuation of the American way of life. WASHINGTON— As Congress begins debate this week on sweeping voting and ethics legislation, Democrats and Republicans can agree on one thing: If signed into law, it would usher in the biggest overhaul of U.S. elections law in at least a generation. House Resolution 1, Democrats’ 791-page bill, would touch virtually every aspect of the electoral process — striking down hurdles to voting erected in the name of election security, curbing partisan gerrymandering and curtailing the influence of big money in politics. Republicans see those very measures as threats that would both limit the power of states to conduct elections and ultimately benefit Democrats, notably with higher turnout among minority voters.

While President Trump has affirmed he will not initiate a third political party, he is taking a strategic third party financial approach with the initiation of SAVE AMERICA PAC.
For those who want a third party option, this approach is even smarter. Essentially, if people use the PAC instead of the RNC contribution President Trump will control the cash.

President Donald J Trump has taken the reigns on the monetary side of the MAGA movement in a shift that will draw a distinction between the RNC and the priorities of the MAGA movement. President Trump is starting his own Political Action Committee.

Democrats in the House Rules Committee on Friday voted against an amendment by Rep. Andy Barr (R-KY) that would prevent any American taxpayer-funded COVID-19 relief dollars from going to the Chinese Communist Party.
His amendment would have barred any of the $1.9 trillion in COVID-19 relief bill funds from being made available to “any enterprise, agency, instrumentality owned by the Government of the People’s Republic of China or the Chinese Communist Party.”

During one of his presidential debates last year when about 220,000 people had died from COVID-19, Joe Biden said that “anyone who’s responsible for that many deaths should not remain as president of the United States of America.” So should Joe be looking for another job, now that more than 100,000 have died in just the two months that he’s been president?
Biden said, after all, that he had a plan on “day one” as president to tackle the disease. He was going to move “heaven and earth” to save lives, etc., etc. But since Jan. 20, there have been

Recently I was "fact checked" by PolitiFact for a demo I did showing that masks don't stop the spread of aerosols (longer one here, shorter one here). The reporter asked for my comments and then said what his narrative required, without regard for any scientific data. The list of CDC and Medscape information in the video description escaped his attention. He also completely ignored the fact that Anthony Fauci has flip-flopped on masks more than a fresh-caught fish on deck. (snip) Masks work really well against spitballs — oops, droplets. These larger particles hit and stick.

“Get woke, go broke”, is a conservative meme about the cost of political correctness that has it the wrong way around. Brands don’t go broke because they get woke, they go woke because they’re going broke, and don’t know how to stop the slow but steady collapse of their business.
The big brands that go woke infuriate conservatives because, like Coke, Gillette, or Nike, they have a storied name that seems entwined with America and the success of capitalism. But it’s those old, familiar brands that go woke because their products and business models are dated. Virtue signaling is their way of adapting to a changing market without really innovating.

Former President Donald Trump on Sunday urged his supporters to vote out “RINOs” in Congress, while encouraging the party to stay united around a pro-worker platform.
Trump said in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Fla., that voters should cast out the so-called “Republicans in Name Only” in the 2022 midterm elections.“Now more than ever is the time for tough, strong and energetic Republican leaders who have spines of steel,” Trump said.“Top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy on opposing [President] Biden, [House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi, [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer

Republican lawmakers ridiculed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s ongoing deployment of National Guard troops and police as well as fencing and razor wire around the U.S. Capitol during speeches at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Fla., on Saturday.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we start quartering soldiers in the committee hearing rooms,” said freshman Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado, who dubbed the Capitol complex “Fort Pelosi.”
“There’s plenty in the parking garages at Fort Pelosi. Maybe we can start unreasonably seizing and searching members of Congress. Oh, wait, we’re already doing that in House chambers,” Boebert added,

While House Speaker Nancy Pelosi cited precedent and prerogatives of current presidents to justify putting a majority of Democrats on a so-called “1/6” panel to investigate the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, others in her party have another reason why they don’t want to seat many Republicans.
Quite simply, some Democrats say, they don’t trust the post-Trump GOP to seriously probe the incident because they believe, without evidence thus far, that some Republican members were either in on it or responsible for it.
