Former President Donald Trump on Sunday urged his supporters to vote out “RINOs” in Congress, while encouraging the party to stay united around a pro-worker platform.
Trump said in a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, Fla., that voters should cast out the so-called “Republicans in Name Only” in the 2022 midterm elections.“Now more than ever is the time for tough, strong and energetic Republican leaders who have spines of steel,” Trump said.“Top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy on opposing [President] Biden, [House Speaker Nancy] Pelosi, [Senate Majority Leader Chuck] Schumer

President Trump named names. Those people will not be returning to office. This is necessary that we clean house. Kevin McCarthy also needs to go.

I loved that he named Liz Cheney last and used the adjective “war monger”. Perfect. He still has the juice and the Republicans and Democrats know it. He’ll work hard to get rid of the ones he named and rightly so. Also, if comments after his speech are any indication, the democrats fear him more than anything. Their outrageous comments and vindictive rhetoric says more about their fear of him than anything negative they say. He is the existential threat to their strategy. We must turn the heat up in every direction. Never stop exposing their anti-American policies. Resist in any way you can. Ridicule whenever you can, it is the one thing that gets under their skin. The American First agenda is going no where. It is here to stay. The longer the Biden administration enacts their agenda, the more people will turn to Trump. We are about to get hit hard in the wallet thanks to democrats and that is one sure political motivator. Loved seeing President Trump. He’s Baaaaack!

Not only did he name names, the President also gave the stats on how he helped the Republicans win last election, even when they were losing. Mitch was a great example. I tell you, that speech was masterful! It was truly a state of the Republican Party and the country address. He set the bar high for xiden if his handlers ever get him doped up enough to share with the American people the state of the mess he's making.
I agree that Kevin McCarthy needs to go, poster #2. When the voters of Wyoming sanctioned liz, who were they (Pubs in Congress) to vote to keep her in a position of leadership? Most of those clowns in Washington only care what they think, not their voters. Liz should have been relieved because her constituents said so. They can't impeach or recall her, but sanctioning her sent a loud message. Kevin McCarthy didn't listen, so he needs to go. There was a reason President Trump singled out Jim Jordan last night, and it wasn't just because of his speech or wrestling. Our President came out ready!

Liz Cheney is still a puzzlement to me. Overnight she became Mitt Romney in a dress. Seems like these people get a couple of sips of swamp water and they lose their minds, forgetting who brung ‘em to the dance.

Great to hear the real President speak, clear and strongly, unlike the addled one installed by his masters.

The way I see it there are two choices.
1. Divide the Republican Party by starting a New Party.
2. Divide the MAGA movement by NOT starting a New Party.
If your a Republican and live in the past. Your all for choice # 1.
If your like me, independent MAGA Patriot who has just witnessed the Republican Party leadership fail to defend and support President Trump for 4 years and then help derail the Trump and MAGA Train, will never register Republican or join the Republican Party, you can only go for a New Party. One that’s founded on MAGA- Tea Party principles and free of the swamp and its corruption.

Is there a way to edit your posts on this site?
Sorry. I meant to say in my post that he Republicans would not want to Divide the Republican Party and would not chose # 1. Republicans would sooner have the MAGA movement divided.
MAGA Patriots who are not Republicans want to see the MAGA movement stay in tact and think that dividing the Republican Party is not a problem at all. In fact, prolonging the inevitable is exactly why we are all here now. Still in the Swamp.

Who's in charge of ousting these RINOs?
They won't leave on their own.
They'll dig in like ticks, sucking the party dry and undermining it at every turn.
President Trump can't just give a general order then walk away.
He's got to keep naming names and shaming RINOs into leaving.
It's not like they don't have a place to go: they are UNIparty with Dem globalists.
They can be dems in a heartbeat.

The GOP has to have room for differences of opinion. Applying too narrow a litmus test for future candidates will not get us back in power. The division within our party for all the reasons well known to most of us here was a significant reason for Trump's loss not simply the fraud we also know to be true. Here in Texas the GOP had an 11th commandment - 'Thou shall not talk ill of another Republican'. How do you think the Dims manage to keep all their cats herding in the same direction? We must be better at it. That said, those who violate the 11th Commandment must be ousted.

I'm with other posters who have trouble with the [r]epublican party. I'm old and can't wait two or four years to get things done. In 2016 Paul Ryan was the first and all should have followed the new President but rather all became never-Trumpers. The party would still be in power with democrats on the sidelines. The republicans chose badly and President Trump worked four years on his own then the final blow was the silence during the fraud. Washington including the black robed Whimsical Supreme Cowards are in on it. The Constitution is now relegated to a tourist attraction somewhere in a museum in Washington if you desire to travel there to see it, I'm not. I'm only sitting here observing I'm not above the fray, I'm not surrendering to the dictatorship of Joe Biden but just tell where we gather to start the physical war against the left I'll participate because time is not on my side.

Historically, political parties form and reform. Voting patterns do, too. #7/8, like many others, doesn't understand the difference between ideology and politics. American "conservatives" have nothing but anti-liberalism. What are "conservatives" standing for that translates into political capital? Less government spending? Less government intrusion into our daily lives? When many supported TRILLIONS in stimulus? Many are still grousing because Mitch only wanted to give away $600 and PDT demanded $2000.
The Tea Party adherents need to rebrand, as do the "patriots" wanting to water the tree of liberty. This is not 1776 or 1976...nor 2006. This stuff doesn't sell to people the GOP needs to include. It's old white people stuff. This stuff is not a touchpoint for a very large proportion of Americans, immigrants and native citizens alike. Go ask some under-40 someone about Valley Forge or 1776 and watch the puzzlement on their faces. Same as your face if asked who Tech N9ne are and to name their greatest hit.
Politics is about winning. You get more votes than the other guy. If that means the Tea Party and Tech N9ne posse can find any common ground, you take it and build. Right now, the MAGA crowd and "traditional" Republicans need to make it click. One way to help accomplish that is to get involved locally.
