The Biden administration is reportedly considering scheduling a “controversial” vote on a gun control bill in the next couple of weeks, news which comes as Biden demanded last month that Congress take action on cracking down on American’s Second Amendment rights.A report by Punchbowl News, which was founded by former Politico reporters, said that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other House Democrats were focused on turning their attention to other issues that the Biden administration has on its agenda, including gun control, after they passed Biden’s “American Rescue Plan” last week.

Outlawing law-abiding citizens' ownership of guns is the only thing, besides his persistent racism, that Bidet has been consistent on in his over-half-century in D.C. They have no desire at all to take weapons away from criminals, after all, they want to keep theirs. Protecting their criminal friends is always high on Demoncrats list of priorities.

Now we know why he still has the military and barb wire around DC. I have to wonder what percentage of those patriots would walk away or even help the good guys. Probably quite a few.

She doesn't have the votes and won't get them. Enough "moderate" Dems represent districts where 2A is a big issue to make this a difficult get.

2nd Amendment attorneys need to be shopping for the court to strike down anything they pass. Use the Democrat tactics on them right out of the gate.

Let's put restrictions on free speech, free press, free assembly, free lobbying, free religion (the stuff in the first Amendment) that we have on the second.
Back ground checks, registering, limiting who can and cannot post on line, write articles in the media, go to church, etc. etc.

May be time to get the canoe out of winter storage, if you know what I mean.

Something inside me -- something more than just a wish or a vain hope -- tells me Mr. Trump will be POTUS again. And I think this anti-American bull is likely to help bring that about.

This is one of the few places the Demon-Rats can push their luck on, and will fail miserably!!!
I honestly believe even the most RINO of Republi-Can'ts will oppose this. And enough Demon-Rats from rural districts will know that voting for this will be political suicide for them to stay lock-step with their demonic party.
I guess it will come down to if those Demon-Rats fear for their lives (from their unexpected "suicides" from bucking the Demon-Rat Party line), or if they fear for their political careers more...

Try shopping for a gun online. All I see is "Temporarily Sold Out".

#12, I have been teaching a niece how to shoot her pistol and after a few training sessions, we went together to get her some good self-defense ammunition (as opposed to cheaper training ammo) and a nice, basic cleaning kit. This was in September or October of 2019. We went to three large firearms/sporting goods retailers.....NO handgun ammo in stock and NO basic 9mm/38 cal cleaning kits in stock. After spending an afternoon driving between stores and looking for ammo and gear....we gave up. I found a cleaning kit a few days later at a different store.
Still, essentially NO ammo available. People who load their own ammo report that primers are absolutely unavailable anywhere, so they can't load beyond what they had on hand.
This has been going on for at least 16+ months that I am aware of, and probably a bit longer than that.
Ammo makers are running their factories at maximum capacity, full shifts and running into a few material shortages, but making literally tens of BILLIONS of rounds....which are instantly disappearing into basements and closets.
And just under 40 million new guns were sold in 2020 alone. Sales in 2010 were just under 15 million, and has steadily increased each year so that 2019 sales reached 28 million. 260 million gun sales from 2010 to 2020. And that doesn't consider private sales of used guns, which could be anywhere from half up to or equal to that number.
Some of the new ammo demand is just the fact that 40 million new guns were sold in 2020. If each new owner bought ONE box of 50 cartridges, that alone would account for 2 billion rounds, not considering any ammo for the existing hundreds of millions of guns. It's easy to see that if even a fraction of those new owners buy 3 or 6 boxes of ammo.....there goes another 6 or 12 billion rounds bought up.
These numbers really boggle this old engineer's mind.
The ammo biz is a good one to be in, and likely will be for the foreseeable future.

A government does not 'crack down' on Constitutional Rights.
A government 'cracks down' on illegal activity to which it had previously turned a blind eye.
A Government restricting the People's exercise of Constitutional Rights VIOLATES the Constitutional Rights of the People.
