The Justice Department’s discrimination lawsuit against Facebook debunks the Fortune 500’s fraudulent claim that a shortage of American workers forces managers to hire foreign workers, U.S. immigration experts say.
The federal lawsuit says Facebook hid more than 1,000 job advertisements from eager American graduates so U.S.-based managers could pretend the only qualified candidates for the jobs were the company’s temporary foreign workers. The pretense allowed the company to request permanent green cards for the temporary workers:

Washington — The U.S. Supreme Court on Tuesday spurned a request from Republican allies of President Trump to decertify Pennsylvania's election results, foreclosing hopes from Mr. Trump and his backers that the justices would help deliver him a second term in the White House.

WASHINGTON — For years, the cybersecurity firm FireEye has been the first call for government agencies and companies around the world who have been hacked by the most sophisticated attackers, or fear they might be.
Now it looks like the hackers — in this case, evidence points to Russia’s intelligence agencies — may be exacting their revenge.
FireEye revealed on Tuesday that its own systems were pierced by what it called “a nation with top-tier offensive capabilities.” The company said hackers used “novel techniques” to make off with its own tool kit, which could be useful in mounting new attacks around the world.
The Food and Drug Administration on Tuesday released an analysis of Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine in which it found the vaccine “met the prescribed success criteria” and showed “no specific safety concerns identified that would preclude issuance of” an emergency-use authorization.
On Thursday a group of independent experts will meet to review the two analyses, one from the FDA’s staff scientists and the other from the vaccine’s manufacturers, and to advise the agency whether to grant a EUA. If the panel recommends the approval, the FDA could formally grant the authorization of the vaccine as early as this weekend.

A suspected Chinese spy got so close to a number of politicians -- including Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif. -- that the FBI stepped in to disrupt the situation, even going so far as to give a “defensive briefing” to Swalwell, a report has found. Axios reported that a Chinese national named Fang Fang or Christine Fang targeted up-and-coming local politicians, including those who had the potential to become national figures.
More than a dozen Army leaders will face termination or punishment over widespread leadership failures at the scandal-plagued Fort Hood base following an independent probe, reports said Tuesday.
The disciplinary action will impact at least 14 leaders after an independent civilian review board found top brass didn’t properly investigate crimes or do enough to prevent sex crimes, Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy told reporters, according to the Washington Post. Texas filed the suit directly in the Supreme Court. Article III of the Constitution lists a small number of categories of cases in which the Supreme Court has “original jurisdiction.” One of those categories concerns “Controversies between two or more states.” Texas’s suit is exactly that.

A Michigan lawmaker leading the investigation into the 2020 election threatened Dominion Voting Systems CEO with a subpoena if he doesn’t appear before his committee voluntarily.
State Rep. Matt Hall, a Republican who chairs the Michigan House Oversight Committee, said in a Dec. 7 letter obtained by The Epoch Times that he sent a letter last month asking Dominion CEO John Poulos to testify before the committee.

News broke on Monday that a federal district court judge in Detroit – an Obama nominee – dismissed Sidney Powell’s Michigan lawsuit.
