The low turnout at the Trump campaign rally in Tulsa is an ominous sign for the upcoming election. Brad Parscale, Trump 2020 campaign manager, blamed the media, saying it spooked people with its constant hyping of the damages of the Wuhan virus.
That is undoubtedly true, and accordingly, that disappointing turnout is not a true indication of the support the president has. However, it does show the power the liberal media still has in framing the narrative. Remember, the low turnout was at the rally in Tulsa, which is hardcore Trump country.
We conservatives have to be careful of myopic thinking.

D.C. police said that it appeared that protesters Monday were trying to take down a statue of Andrew Jackson in a park near the White House. D.C. police and U.S. Park Police moved demonstrators back from Lafayette Square Park, as protesters tell NBC Washington that they wanted to tear down the statue of Andrew Jackson located near the White House. A line of law enforcement was formed to try to stop the protesters from gaining access to the statue, NBC Washington’s Shomari Stone told WTOP. Earlier, he said some protesters put ropes around the statue in an attempt to pull it down.

Demonstrators outside the White House have declared a “Black House Autonomous Zone,” in apparent imitation of the secessionist enclave in Seattle. According to video from on-scene reporters at Lafayette Park, the demonstrators are marking the Zone by, among other things, desecrating St. John’s Episcopal Church. One video from the Daily Caller showed the letters “BHAZ” spray painted on the columns holding up the traditional “church of presidents.” The church was vandalized despite having been very receptive for weeks toward the protesters, even criticizing President Trump for posing in front of the church after police had cleared out an earlier round of demonstrators from Lafayette Park.

In a rush for Fulton County district attorney Paul Howard to distract from the investigation of his own wrongdoings regarding a missing $140,000, Howard quickly charged former police officer Garrett Rolfe with eleven felonies before an investigation could be properly done into a police shooting. Not only is Howard under investigation, but he is in a hotly contested primary in August. Howard did not take the case to the Grand Jury and, in an apparent political move, immediately charged Rolfe.

The Trump administration on Monday extended a ban on green cards issued outside the United States until the end of the year and added many temporary work visas to the freeze, including those used heavily by technology companies and multinational corporations. The administration cast the effort as a way to free up jobs in an economy reeling from the coronavirus. A senior official who spoke to reporters on condition of anonymity predicted it will open up to 525,000 jobs for Americans. Multiple sources who spoke to NPR said Trump is likely to sign an expansion of his April immigration executive order that halted new employment-based green cards, a small category of the more than two million legal immigrants and foreign workers who are admitted to the United States every year.
The expansion, which Trump may sign this weekend, is expected to halt the inflow of foreign workers arriving on H-1B visas, L-1 visas, J-1 visas, and H-2B visas.

Our Establishment is revolting – in fact, it stinks on ice. What you see out there is our alleged betters struggling mightily to hold onto the power that we Normal people dared to wrest away from them in 2016. One component of their campaign is the burning and looting information operation conducted by black-clad pawns. The other component is the soft power corporate/media/cultural conspiracy to silence dissent and enforce fearful conformity to their narrative. Usually, a revolution is conducted by the peasants to throw off a tyrannical ruling class. Here, the ruling class is waging a political and cultural war to retake and then tighten its grip on the masses.

Political and public health leaders appear to have contracted another case of lockdown fever. The governors of Oregon and Utah recently hit pause on their states' reopening efforts. Gov. Andrew Cuomo threatened to do the same in New York City on June 14, even as the city prepares for a new stage of re-opening on June 22.
Meanwhile, public health experts maintain it's unsafe for people to congregate – unless, of course, they're attending a protest that lines up with the progressive consensus.
This is all absurd. After months of lockdown, the most reasonable interpretations of the data indicate that the COVID-19 outbreak is largely contained to a few geographic hotspots

When something cannot go on, it certainly will not go on. But what are the symptoms of what cannot go on and when? There are two historic red lines and our revolution is getting close to both. When Normal People Grow Weary --One is when “average” people, both white and nonwhite, who identify neither with Left nor Right, woke nor unwoke, become frightened or appalled by the violence and the anarchy—and thus finally move to dismantle the guillotine as the razor increasingly starts haircutting friends, idols, and compatriots. Their verdict can be known either by demonstrating themselves, boycotting, voting, or massive civil disobedience.

A noose was found in the garage stall of Darrell "Bubba" Wallace Jr. and the No. 43 Richard Petty Motorsports team Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR said in a statement released Sunday night.
The statement read in full:
"Late this afternoon, NASCAR was made aware that a noose was found in the garage stall of the 43 team. We are angry and outraged, and cannot state strongly enough how seriously we take this heinous act.

John Oliver embodies the mentality of the elitists who look down on President Trump and his supporters as ignorant buffoons even better than his HBO colleague, Bill Maher. The very people whose self-regard is dependent on their academic credentials, social standing and career prestige adore Oliver (snip) With all this standing as an Important Voice, Oliver should face a reckoning for mocking President Trump when he warned us in 2017 that after the mob was done with Confederate monuments, the Founding Fathers would be next, a prophecy that played out just last week.

So much for Seattle's 'summer of love.' That's some 'block party atmosphere' they've got in the CHOP.
Less than two weeks after Seattle's mayor allowed warlords to declare an autonomous zone over six blocks of Seattle in the name of 'abolishing' the police, the place is already starting to look like Liberia. And for that, the warlords running that hole are blaming cops for their own barbaric rule.

Despite 2020’s tough start, Trump’s base remains solid, which bodes well for his November. National polls have recently shown a widening Biden lead; considering the current political environment, this is not surprising. What is surprising is how well Trump has held up, and how well it positions him as political tides turn.
The current Real Clear Politics average of national presidential polling gives Biden a 50.1% to 41.3% lead less than five months from November’s election. This fits conventional expectations that 2020’s rough first half is damaging the president’s re-election chances. However, looking inside these national polls reveals a crucial

President Donald Trump noted during his rally in Tulsa, Okla., Saturday night that a number of Democrat-run cities including Seattle continue to suffer mass protests and remain under siege by Left-wing activists, but that he won’t interfere with federal law enforcement or the military. “How about Seattle, isn’t that great?” Trump began to howls and boos from the crowd. “So they take over a big chunk of a city called Seattle. In a Sunday interview which aired on ABC News, former National Security Advisor John Bolton said his “hope” is that history remembers President Donald Trump as a “one-term president who didn’t plunge the country irretrievably into a downward spiral” from which it cannot recover. As he discussed his forthcoming tell-all book, “The Room Where It Happened,” Bolton emphasized he does not believe Trump to be a conservative Republican nor “competent to serve” as commander in chief. “I’ve made my case about the president’s not being a conservative and not being competent to serve in the book,” Bolton told ABC News

As a young journalist starting out many years ago, I was proud to join a profession where so many men and women had distinguished themselves through honest, thorough investigations, entertaining features, and excellence in writing. But for a long while, I’ve been depressed to see much of the press openly working as political operatives. Objectivity in reporting was always impossible, but at least it used to be discussed as a goal. Now journalists boast of their advocacy journalism for an increasingly leftist agenda. Former CBS reporter Bernard Goldberg chronicled the media’s slanting of the news in the first of his bestselling books, Bias.

Late Thursday, Nancy Pelosi had four of her predecessors removed from a Portrait Collection that adorns the Speaker’s Lobby in Congress. These Democratic Speakers were ostensibly banished from the halls of Congress pursuant to their Confederate ties. Madam Speaker insisted in a news conference that she was unaware of the portraits or their unsavory provenance until recently, despite their conspicuous location just outside the House chamber where she has worked for the last 33 years. Having finally learned of the offensive paintings, Pelosi ordered them taken down. Oddly, she neglects to note in her letter ordering the removal that all had been Democrats:

As President Trump plans a no-expense-spared, blow-out convention in Jacksonville, Fla., some Democrats are increasingly nervous their party’s pandemic-conscious gathering won’t be able to offer up a compelling alternative.
“The nightmare scenario is [Trump] comes out and rallies his base and gives a speech to an insane crowd and it is covered on every channel and he catapults himself into the fall with an energized base,” one Democratic insider familiar with convention planning told The Post. He said he fears Democrats might counter with “delegates in social-distance folding chairs listening to Joe Biden to an audience tuning in on Zoom.”
“The optics of that are just awful,” the insider continued.

J. Alexander Keung, freed Friday evening on $750,000 bail, was stocking up at a Cub Foods in the Minneapolis suburb of Plymouth when another shopper started recording on her phone and moved in.
“What’s your name?” asked the woman as she approached Keung, 26, in the tense video posted by a user who identified the shopper as their sister.
“Oh, yeah, that’s me,” replied the bearded Keung, appearing bewildered by the encounter, but calm.

No wonder Joe Biden is hiding in his basement.
He is going to need more than just a face mask to survive this campaign. Somebody needs to get the guy a body cast after President Trump’s rally in Tulsa on Saturday night.
It is not even elder abuse. I mean, yeah, the guy is near 80 years old and he seems all talked out. Vacant. Lost. And lonely. But the problem isn’t how long Mr. Biden has been alive. The problem is how long he has been in Washington. Or, as Mr. Trump described it, “four decades of betrayal, calamity and failure.”

The cesspool that is the United Nations Human Rights Council has decided that its top official, a Chilean socialist called Michelle Bachelet, shall “prepare a report on systemic racism, violations of international human rights law against Africans and people of African descent by law enforcement agencies, especially those incidents that resulted in the death of George Floyd and other Africans and of people of African descent.” The “systemic racism” and human rights violations are assumed. Apparently, Bachelet’s task is to write these conclusions up.
But Bachelet won’t be without a subject to investigate. Assisted by UN appointed independent rights experts and committees

Reporters and columnists around the world are falling all over themselves to scour former national security adviser John Bolton’s White House memoir, The Room Where It Happened, for tidbits of criticism of President Trump. They don’t have to look hard to find them.
Bolton’s memoir is not the usual “tell all” book by a former White House staffer. It’s a “get even” book that White House trade adviser Peter Navarro called “revenge porn,” which is not far off the mark.
I have a slight advantage over most of the people commenting on Bolton’s book because I read it before writing about it.

You'll be forgiven for stifling a yawn as we delve into the details of yet another Cannonball record. And although the overall New York City-to-Redondo Beach, California record has allegedly been broken again by some folks who have not yet emerged from the shadowy world of hearsay and conjecture, that's not the one we're going to tell you about today. What we're here to talk about is a record that's so stupid it's brilliant, and so crazy it's just about what we've come to expect as the elapsed times on these ill-advised adventures have crept ever closer to the 24-hour mark.
We're talking about a solo run.

This has been kicking around in my head for a couple of days now. I was interviewing my comedian friend Kevin Downey Jr. for my latest Kruiser Kabana podcast and — as conservatives are wont to do — we got around to discussing the thorough awfulness of the mainstream media. We are all aware that examples of said awfulness abound but the two that were freshest in my mind were the MSM treatment of the two worst governors in America: Andrew Cuomo and Gretchen Whitmer.
Throughout almost all of March, April, and May we bombarded with stories about Cuomo’s brilliant handling of the onset of the coronavirus pandemic in New York.

At least one person was shot on Sunday night inside Seattle’s autonomous protest zone, where demonstrators have settled during the civil unrest sparked by the death of George Floyd at the hands of police officers.
The Seattle Police Department said in a tweet at 11:26 p.m. that one person had suffered a gunshot wound while inside the area and that a second shooting may have taken place. “Police investigating reported shooting inside CHOP zone,” the department wrote. “One person at HMC with gun shot wound.”
The “CHOP zone” refers to the so-called Capitol Hill Organized Protest zone, which was originally created as a space for nonviolent demonstration

A Tennessee newspaper said Sunday it is investigating what its editor called a “horrific” full-page advertisement from a religious group that predicts a terrorist attack in Nashville next month.
The paid advertisement that appeared in Sunday's editions of The Tennessean from the group Future For America claims Donald Trump “is the final president of the USA” and features a photo of Trump and Pope Francis. It begins by claiming that a nuclear device would be detonated in Nashville and that the attack would be carried out by unspecific interests of “Islam.”

A Joe Biden victory in November would be a "tragic setback" for the country, "The Next Revolution" host Steve Hilton argued Sunday night.
Pointing to President Trump's campaign rally Saturday in Tulsa, Hilton asserted during his opening monologue that only Trump is capable of facilitating "long-term change to right the wrongs of the establishment's 50 years of failure."
"Here's why a second Trump term is so important. 2016 was a populace revolution and ever since, the establishment have been desperate to get their power back," Hilton said.

A moral panic is sweeping the nation. How we react to the pitchfork hordes will determine the fate of our country for a generation or longer.
We call what the hordes do to our fellow citizens “cancel culture,” but the term is far too cute to capture the cruel, mindless and life-destroying process taking place all around us in the name of “fighting racism.”
The tendency has been with us for some time, but the current, extra-crazed moment has accelerated its malignant energies: Locked in for months due to COVID-19, we re-emerged into a society more enraged and at war with itself than ever before.

Watching the Trump Administration’s reaction to the re-emergence of Black Lives Matter (it is amazing how these kinds of protests seem to wax, on schedule, every four years, isn’t it?), one gets the impression that it has been wrongfooted. The administration seems, at times, defensive, even paranoid, about charges of “racism.”
What is needed is a way to go back on offense. And President Trump, as we all know, is nothing if not good at taking the offense. What is needed, in other words, is a Greatness Agenda for America’s race problem. I suggest that such an agenda begin in the inner city. A “Make the Inner City Great Again” campaign.

It is one of the supreme ironies of American history that our nation and our freedoms were saved by men who had been enslaved.
I think this story is not as widely told as it should be. Perhaps it does not fit today’s ideological narrative that black Americans are eternal victims of white privilege, and that blacks and whites must remain enemies.
But the heroism of the 180,000 black Americans who served for the United States during the Civil War ought to be recognized, remembered, and honored. They filled the Union ranks, fought, and died, and ultimately made it impossible for the Confederacy to fight on.

In his “I Have a Dream” address of August 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called for an end to the scourge of racism in the United States. Although our nation has made significant progress in the 57 years since Rev. King’s speech, the unjust murder of George Floyd proves there is still much work and healing to be done.
We must never forget Dr. King’s less cited but extraordinarily meaningful words from that same historic speech: “We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality.”

The Trump administration recently announced a new deregulation proposal to allow individuals to use their 401(k)s and IRAs to invest in private equity funds. This proposal, released by the Department of Labor, is a huge win for millions of American middle-class families and will provide them with another option to invest and grow their retirement savings.
Private equity is a type of investment fund structured as a partnership agreement between an expert investor and individuals with capital. It seeks to invest in companies with growth potential and, as a result, has the potential to deliver strong returns. According to a recent study, private equity returned 15% gains over 10 years.

In a series of shocking and stunning turn of events, the cop-banning, anarchy-baiting Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone of Seattle has devolved into death and violence. The illegal settlement known as "CHAZ" suffered a shooting resulting in one person killed and at least one other injured, and that's after a slew of rapes and robberies the Seattle police chief claimed that the police couldn't respond to in the region.
Raz Simone, the supposed "warlord" of the CHAZ, claimed that paramedics, terrified of entering the region, let the slain person bleed out, though the claim hasn't been independently corroborated.
Regardless, that is what you get for illegally declaring an "autonomous" zone.

When Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar dropped out of contention to be Joe Biden’s running mate, it removed the last relative centrist from the pool of likely choices.
Though an unabashed liberal, during her presidential campaign, Klobuchar resisted the more extreme demands of the Left. Her experience and the boost she gave Biden in Minnesota by endorsing him, made her a strong candidate to be his running mate, particularly as she’d fulfill the Democratic nominee’s pledge to pick a female.
But Klobuchar’s candidacy to be vice president was fatally wounded by George Floyd’s death in her state of Minnesota.

Fundraising records continue to be challenged by Republicans, a firm sign that the GOP base is rallying behind President Trump as he steps back into campaign mode.
The latest example is from the Republican National Committee, which revealed to Secrets today that it took in the second-biggest haul ever for a May, $27.2 million.
Combined with the fundraising by the Trump campaign and its committees, the GOP operation raised $73.8 million in May and has a whopping $264.7 million in hand and no debt.
More impressive, said officials, is that for the 2019-2020 campaign cycle, Team GOP has raised $816.7 million for the 2020 campaign, which is expected to cost several billion dollars.
