The Elites Are Revolting

A great summation of a terrible reality. I pray to live to vote for Trump in November

I hope this column of Kurt Schlichter gets put in the Must Reads. I was thinking that President Trump is the one President that hasn't been elected by the media. Even George W. did what he was told when he got in office. The "Elites" and the "Establishment" will use every trick in the book to get Joe Biden elected even though they know it is a mistake to do so, just to prove that they still have the power to get anyone elected to the Presidency of the United States.

Kurt just keeps them coming. We are up against a behemoth democrat party, a pit bull media, an irrational self-righteous celebrity cult, and radicalized academia. It is ourselves, President Trump and a handful of Republican leaders that we can count on to stand with us to fight this war. Here we are, not unlike the men and women of the American Revolution, battling a force with the deck stacked against us. Right is on our side and it’s either do or die. God help us to dig deep and never lose sight of the importance of winning and what it will mean to future generations. Pray. 2 Chronicles 7:14.

Some of us have had a sense that something has been terribly wrong within the US particularly within our political class. The fact that there is a political class is exhibit A. People have sought an explanation spawning multiple theories, from the Illuminati to the Trilateral Commission to a global pedophile ring running everything everywhere. Did anybody else ever listen to Dr. David Weber? Things coalesced for me, much of what my father told me, the day I first heard the words "New World Order" come out of our former chief spook's mouth. I even think that electing Obama was in part due to people seeking to break the stranglehold of the elite class seeking an outsider. Obama was however, the consummate insider groomed for the job and given the job by the ruling elites. Next up, a genuine outsider which set off a spit storm of resistance, a coup attempt, and now open rebellion. We the people are facing a triangulation from the ruling elites, foreign and domestic, the useful idiots and a small cadre of violent mobsters, the garden variety criminal element spotting opportunity as others see then as an asset. The US represents the greatest potential plunder in human history and people are coming to take it and many of your neighbors are willingly assisting. The roots of this are foreign going back the the Bolshevik revolution. Our representatives have been bought and paid for to the extent that putting America first has become revolutionary. I have my ideas on how to fix things but they are considered Nationalistic and therefore I'm a racist intending to incinerate my fellow citizens. Just as we are "greedy" if we dare seek to keep more than half of what we earn, we are all Nazi's if we dare to make the US a better place than elsewhere.

Trump has exposed our enemies. The Democrats are out to get Trump, but it is not really Trump the Democrats want to destroy, it is us, our liberty and property. The Democrats don't support the country being ran by consent of the people. The Democrats want the country ran by the Democrats.

"We the People must be overthrown. Now the question is whether We the People are going to let that happen." Now that the law has revealed itself to be a farce and can be regularly abused when necessary by our betters, we have one recourse. We can no longer cite it as the Second Amendment because that too has been abused and overridden at will with the consent of our highest authorities. Our recourse is our ownership of weapons and the skill and courage to use them when the time comes. It comes down to basic self defense and our desire to remain free (relatively).

Whoa, Kurt...and I'm said to be a downer contrarian in certain quarters. I'll go a step further: It's not the Establishment revolting. They continue to hold the cards and manipulate the levers of government virtually unimpeded. They are defending their very profitable status quo, and they are very good at it, sometimes with PDT's participation. (Like putting out $6 TRILLION to save us from the economic effects of COVIDS shutdown. Now staging a WWE-worthy fight over the last $3 TRILLION in the run up to the election. Got to be fiscally conservative, you know.) The public is properly compliant, and their beaks are getting wet with that $6 TRILLION Congress appropriated and the President approved. We hate welfare, and love that government cheese, don't we? Put on your mask when you cash the check, if you can get into the bank. The UNIPARTY's problem is age. It's coalition of Dems and Reps is aging with no real inheritors in sight. AOC and the radicals haven't figured this all out yet. And there are some Trump Republicans equally out of touch with the potential before them. In that sense, there is hope.

As an Ldotter who has been part of this forum since it became the Salon alternative to the wilder and woolier forums of the 90s/early Aughts, I HIGHLY RESENT it whenever the newly refashioned cult calling itself alt-right (they are NOT conservative, my fellow Ldotters! They are descendants of John C Calhoun. Look him up and how he wanted to dismantle the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution) comes on here and primly implies that America would be a better place if they did the white guy version of the BLM. Im frankly sick of having my culture and politics defined by the color of a persons skin and I will thank anyone who DOES ascribe to it to quietly and permanently remove themselves from this forum. You do NOT represent the whole of genuine supporters of the US Constitution. I hear there's an island in the Caribbean recently vacated...perhaps you could form your own colony there and make it a better place than what the former resident did? As far as Im concerned, that island is perfect for the alt-right. As for me and my fellow Americans OF ALL CULTURES AND BACKGROUNDS AND SKIN COLORS, we will stand together to protect the government our Founding Fathers sought to establish.

I'm old and 2020 might just be the last election I get to vote in but what I see coming out of Washington DC are old decreped politician pandering to save their lives. What is happening in the streets they weren't ready for. President Trump for his age has more vigor than most and thank him for that because we need that now. A minority race uses words like racist and white supremacy when it is this group/race who with the help of many whites hope to accomplish 'black supremacy'. So far cities have been burnt and statues of any person taken down with monuments defaced the truth is so far buildings and statues don't shoot back or resist. It's coming because this will not stop suddenly after the 2020 election and the sun will shine again on the United States. A race in this country will never conform they are on a roll now they even have whites kissing their feet and apologizing for being white with raised hands surrendering. There is a great portion who are not surrendering or kissing boots if the election doesn't settle this stronger methods will have to be used.

Let's hope we can make the ballot box work for us one more time. If it doesn't, then things will be going down a path I'd really rather not travel. The markings on ancient maps said "Here be dragons". Yep, some really serious dragons out there. And the remaining tools for us is shrinking.
