Fired FBI Director James Comey on Saturday lashed out at US Attorney General Bill Barr and President Trump for firing SDNY US Attorney Geoffrey Berman.
Barr on Friday fired Mueller hack and US Attorney Geoffrey Berman and nominated Jay Clayton to replace him.

Berman’s office was the lead in several high profile cases assembled by Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann.
Comey whined in a WaPo op-ed that Barr and Trump fired a US Attorney who was ‘handling cases close to the president.’

The radical enclave in Seattle known as the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) will apparently feature a Juneteenth celebration on Friday that will be restricted to black people, while white people are being asked to provide security and donations.
Fox News reported Friday that the CHOP, formerly known as the “CHAZ” (for Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone), would be entirely closed to white people.
However, it appears that the segregation is only taking place in Cal Anderson Park.

The Trump administration filed a court injunction demanding that the book not be published, as it included information they deemed classified.
U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth sternly criticized Bolton’s reckless behavior with his memoir but acknowledged that it was too late to stop the book from publication.
“Defendant Bolton has gambled with the national security of the United States,” Lamberth wrote in his court memorandum. “He has exposed his country to harm and himself to civil (and potentially criminal) liability.”

Life is tough for statues dedicated to dead white men. At the bare minimum, these statues will be spray painted. Worse, and more common these days, an unlucky statue will be dragged across town and dumped in the nearest body of water.Authorities seem not to mind the recent destruction. Police stand idly by as mobs deface our heritage and disregard all rules and laws. Some authorities want to finish the mob’s work and topple the statues with taxpayer-funded services.Republicans and conservatives appear remarkably unconcerned with this war on history. Just as the infamous Dred Scott case in 1857 would have extended slavery throughout America, so Thursday’s decision in Department of Homeland Security v. Regents of the University of California threatens to make the machinations of bureaucratic government supreme and unrepealable.
Chief Justice John Roberts’ 5-4 court opinion strengthens the grip of the administrative state—the interlocking network of bureaucracy and political correctness—over the democratically elected branches that are supposed to make us a nation of self-governing citizens.
The Supreme Court, in a seeming conspiracy with lower federal courts, has tilted the table against the elected president and his appointees in favor of bureaucratic governance.

When President Trump takes the stage in Tulsa on Saturday for his first post-coronavirus live rally, 21 members of the Black Voices for Trump advisory board and four of the group’s co-chairs are scheduled to appear with him. This accounts for nearly half of the over 50 surrogates the Trump campaign announced will be on hand for the resumption of in-person “Make America Great Again” events.
Despite daunting poll numbers nationally and in the battleground states, the Trump campaign says it hasn’t given up its drive to increase the president’s share of the black vote from the 8% he won in 2016.

The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision this week in Bostock imposes on Americans a rule of greater import than any ever asserted by any government. Its adoption into law of a meaning of the word “sex” that is at war with that of the dictionary, of biology, and of common use, and enlists the U.S. legal system against the way of life of most Americans. As a matter of law, the Bostock decision, like so many others since Dred Scott(Snip)rewrites the Constitution and statutes to reflect the opinions of elites currently in power. (Snip) Respect for the court is the only reason to treat its rulings as valid generally.

Officially it’s being called a “resignation” according to the Associated Press. However, all the right Lawfare “beach friends” are going bananas as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Geoffrey Berman, is being replaced. [DOJ Announcement Here]
According to the DOJ release Berman is being replaced by the nomination of Jay Clayton, currently the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Additionally, “Craig Carpenito, currently the United States Attorney for the District of New Jersey, will serve as the Acting United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, while the Senate is considering Jay Clayton’s nomination.”

As thousands have gathered across the country — and the world — to protest the death of George Floyd, police brutality and systemic racism, photographs and videos from the protests have gone viral. At the center of the protests is the phrase Black Lives Matter, a movement that began in 2013 following the acquittal of George Zimmerman, the man who fatally shot the unarmed Black teenager Trayvon Martin. (Snip) One viral post included two photos and claimed that witches and the Amish had joined protests saying "You know how wrong you gotta be for witches and Amish to be on the same side?"

In a new secret recording of New Jersey Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli, she says she told a former assistant commissioner to “turn around” and scrap a plan to administer a private coronavirus test for the relatives of a top aide to Gov. Phil Murphy. The health commissioner said in the recording she informed Christopher Neuwirth “not to do that” after he questioned whether it was ethical. But she said the department then handled the request for the test anyway.

President Donald Trump wants to personally “get involved” in making advertiser boycotts illegal, he told the Daily Caller in an exclusive interview.Trump spoke with the Caller for more than an hour on a variety of issues — including racial inequality, coronavirus, China, John Bolton and the 2020 election — but opened the conversation by accusing activist groups calling for advertising boycotts, a means of protesting platforms or groups they don’t agree with, of playing “a much dirtier game.”“A friend of mine bought a couple of conservative sites,” the president stated from behind the Resolute Desk. “And he said, anybody that advertises on the site is being harassed.”

CHICAGO — The world has entered a “new and dangerous phase” of the coronavirus pandemic, a top official from the World Health Organization said on Friday, a stark warning that came as the United States struggled to control spiraling outbreaks and as business leaders signaled growing unease with the country’s ability to effectively contend with the virus. Coronavirus cases spiked sharply across the American South and West, particularly in states that loosened restrictions on businesses several weeks ago. In Florida, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Arizona, daily counts of new coronavirus cases reached their highest levels of the pandemic this week.

Do you remember how Democrats were openly scheming to help nominate Donald Trump during the 2016 Republican primary? Paul Krugman wrote a Labor Day column back in 2015 defending Trump from Jeb Bush and praising his economic platform. Jimmy Carter told the British Parliament the following February that he preferred a President Trump to a President Cruz because Trump would be a pragmatic and non-ideological leader. A Democratic National Committee email released by WikiLeaks later that year revealed that the Clinton campaign and the DNC were colluding to ensure that Trump won the nomination.

Outrageously, cowardly and traitorous politicians are allowing Black Lives Matter, a racist hate group to engage in an “Everything Must Go” fire-sale against America. BLM is literally pulling down monuments and demanding that large portions of our history be removed from the records. They are burning down homes which dare fly the U.S. flag. They are taking control of portions of cities, absurdly claiming it as their new country. Why is BLM behaving like spoiled-brat bullies on America's playground? The answer: Because they are allowed to do it.

The problem with appeasement is that you can never truly appease. A famous example of naïveté occurred on September 30, 1938. British prime minister Neville Chamberlain returned home waving a worthless paper signed by Hitler. Placating the Führer by giving Germany the Sudetenland, Chamberlain happily announced to the world, "Peace in our time." Less than one year later, Hitler invaded Poland, and that was the start of World War II. So much for peace for anyone's time.
Once they see how easy it is to get what they want, their list of demands only grows longer.

Supporters of President Trump are irked to no end when people who used to work for him betray him. their basic lack of decency in turning on a man who appointed them to some of the highest offices in the land, we worry that their criticism may carry more weight to the undecided voter than the usual political hacks. The latest attack, however, is different. John Bolton’s over-the-top accusations are self-defeating and we are already seeing this story lose its luster. Here’s why:
1) He wants us to believe that the president of China admitted to the president of the United States (!) that he runs concentration camps.

During widespread violence in the aftermath of the unwarranted police killing of George Floyd, more than 800 police officers tasked with maintaining order in America’s cities were shot, stabbed, spit on, hit by cars, cursed, called Nazis, smeared as racists, viciously beaten and seriously injured by bricks and bottles of frozen water hurled at them. Deliberately shot in the head by a cop-hating protester in Nevada, Las Vegas police officer Shay Mikalonis, pictured below, remains paralyzed from the neck down, and will likely be on a ventilator for the rest of his life, according to his family.

Like many contemporary social movements—#metoo, Black Lives Matter, the Women’s March—the environmental lobby has tended to create an atmosphere of unanimity. In its struggle to win public and elite opinion, it has frequently evoked “science” as something settled and immutable, warning that those who dissent are either self-serving or seriously deranged.
Yet in recent months, there has been growing criticism about the current green orthodoxy, including from people long associated with environmental causes. This has been most widely seen in the strange case of the Michael Moore–produced Planet of Humans, which exposes the rapacious profit-seeking and gratuitous environmental damage caused by the renewable energy industry.

A man accused of shooting eight people outside a San Antonio bar after he was turned away because he was too inebriated was arrested Thursday by U.S. marshals and Florida sheriff's deputies, police said.
Jenelius Crew, 37, was arrested at a Miami hotel by a regional fugitive task force, San Antonio police said in a statement. On Wednesday, the department obtained eight aggravated assault and deadly weapon arrest warrants for him, the statement said.
Crew is accused of opening fire on people outside a bar Friday night after he and others were denied entry because they were too drunk, police said. The victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

‘Defund the police!’ That’s the spray-painted, placarded, pixeled demand of the moment. The American left, from Black Lives Matterers to their knee-taking social-justice allies in their hydrangea-colored masks, has decided now is the moment to drain public resources from the custodians of public order.
I have an alternative. Now is the moment to defund the colleges. We should defund them because they are the root of the virulent anti-Americanism that feeds the riots, the looting and the learned helplessness that afflict the country. And they have been feeding the protest culture for generations. The chief lesson taught by our nation’s colleges and universities

Derrick DeWitt, director of the Maryland Baptist Aged Home in West Baltimore, a 100-year-old nursing facility that has had no coronavirus infections: What was the moment you realized the threat was real and that you had to take action to protect your residents and staff?
I dare not put words in a Baptist minister’s mouth, but it sounds like he listened to what the President of the United States had to say, then decided just the opposite would be true.

The folks at Black Lives Matter are really worried about black deaths. Not most black deaths, not even very many black deaths, mind you, but only that tiny fraction of a percent of blacks who have died at the hands of (presumably) white cops. (snip) For their nominal political pals in the Democrat party, these are the worst of times. They’ve got a tiger by the tail, and they know it. Their political survival depends upon getting an overwhelming majority of the black vote, and if that majority should shrink to 85 percent or so, they’re politically dead. Black Lives Matter, or revulsion to it, could make that happen.

It goes without saying that the death of George Floyd was shameful and wrong. However, the rhetoric in response to Mr. Floyd’s death by otherwise decent people has been no less shameful and wrong. It’s encouraging that so many Americans are finding common cause with black Americans on the issue of police brutality, but they are wrong to have accepted uncritically the claim that systemic racism against blacks infects nearly all aspects of America and its institutions. This corrosive claim has now been embraced by titans of the tech and financial industries like Facebook, Google, Goldman Sachs, and Bank of America. Establishment political figures on the right

I was 40 when my first child was born, a son who looked just like me. My easy identification with him was probably crucial, because even at an age that in earlier times would have augured impending senescence, I wasn’t well prepared to be a father. Had my son been born even a few years before, I would have had difficulty doing the job well, and he would have suffered.
I wasn’t alone in my suspended adolescence. An American male who hasn’t served in the military or cared for an aging parent or grandparent likely has little experience of being responsible for another human being

Eskimo Pie joins the brands that featured minorities and now are destined for history’s dust bin:
The maker of Eskimo Pies will change the 99-year-old brand name of the ice cream treat, the company said Friday — becoming the latest organization to overhaul the marketing of a product with a racially tinged moniker in recent weeks.
What does “racially tinged” mean? It is bad, supposedly. But why? The “Eskimo Pie” ice cream bar was obviously named in recognition of the fact that Eskimos live in cold places. Eskimo Pies come from the freezer. They are ice cream–cold. That is it. How is this somehow derogatory?

John Bolton has few friends left in D.C.
A day after excerpts from his bombshell new book emerged excoriating President Donald Trump, the former national security adviser has managed to turn everyone against him.
Republicans say he’s a disgruntled sensationalist who’s merely trying to make money off his book. And Democrats, once buoyed by Bolton’s turn against Trump, now say he is “unpatriotic” for documenting his claims in a book rather than testifying before Congress during Trump’s impeachment inquiry.
Several Republicans this week took direct shots at Bolton, a neoconservative once heralded as the gold standard for the GOP on foreign policy and national security issues.

The chasm between the NYPD and a mayor and city who have sided with Black Lives Matter and other Left-wing groups seeking to “defund” or “disband” them has grown wider since the death of George Floyd, as police officers around the country suddenly feel under siege like never before.
Cops in New York may be planning a department-wide strike on July 4 to give the city and its pandering Democratic leaders a look at what it’s like to have their ‘independence’ from police, as many have said they want, according to the New York Post.
