It goes without saying that the death of George Floyd was shameful and wrong. However, the rhetoric in response to Mr. Floyd’s death by otherwise decent people has been no less shameful and wrong. It’s encouraging that so many Americans are finding common cause with black Americans on the issue of police brutality, but they are wrong to have accepted uncritically the claim that systemic racism against blacks infects nearly all aspects of America and its institutions. This corrosive claim has now been embraced by titans of the tech and financial industries like Facebook, Google, Goldman Sachs, and Bank of America. Establishment political figures on the right

There is no "black America". In any event, I do not care what ails them. Whatever it is, it is 100% their problem, not mine, and I wish they would go away, stop calling me racist, get out of my life forever, stop calling me racist, stop destroying my country, stop calling me racist, stop murdering, raping, looting, burning, thieving, stop calling me racist, be gone, and disappear.
And I am NOT a racist.

If you're looking for hate, racism, stereotypes in everyone you meet you will find it. Kids growing up on a constant diet of being told that their issues are caused by a white society become paranoid and conclude this in every interaction. Not healthy.

No. It does not go without saying that Floyddere was was "shameful and wrong" unless you mean it was shameful and wrong he resisted arrest, had numerous serious health issues, filled his body with illicit drugs and took part in an action meant to hurt others.

If there's systemic racism in America, it's on the black side. Whites don't have anything like 'polar bear' hunting. The media may not report it, but there's a lot more black on white crime than there is white on black crime. And the blacks that aren't targeting whites, are targeting weaker blacks, Hispanics, Asians and Jews. Poster #1 would get 1000 likes from me, if I could give them.

Given the drug cocktail Floyd had taken and his obvious state, if the officers had simply handcuffed him and stood back there is a good chance he would have died anyway. It is not clear if the officers were following legitimate procedures and if those procedures were well thought out or not. From the autopsy report it is clear that there was little damage done to Floyd. So, while the optics were very bad, even this incident may have not been "racist".
There is no "systemic" racism. Laws prohibit it. Companies have learned that it is damaging to them to allow or tolerate it. Most organizations feel the same way, the legal and social consequences of being racist are unacceptable. Most individuals are NOT racists. Obama was elected twice. Most of the opposition was to his policies and actions, not his race.
Are there individual racists and small pockets of group racism? Definitely. If they act in an illegal manner, they are prosecuted. They are socially ostracized. The "system" is watching them and they know it.

Racism is rampant in the democrat party! Look what they did to all the black presidential candidates, just to anoint Joe Biden!

"The claim of systemic racism is shameful because it robs the black community of any sense of agency and, thus, accountability."
Blacks need an excuse for their lack of achievement and their systemic bad behavior. This racism concept serves the purpose well.

Systemic stupidity is what ails America. Stop accepting what others say about you, especially when you know it's not true. Grow a spine, stand and fight. That's what Americans do.

I reject the label of racist. I strive to be color blind, which by their definition makes me a racist. I do not care.

What ails America started 88 years ago with FDR. The goal was a permanent Democratic majority. That way there would be a fascist group of democrats at all levels of government. One major plan was getting all of the colored people away from their families. This was done with AFDC. With AFDC you didn't need a man, you just got a check for each new kid. All colored women would then have to vote Democratic to keep the money coming. This let loose a wolf pack of colored men, who terrorized communities enough so taxes could be raised to pay for police.
It was all planned out ahead of time. They just forgot about the 40,000,000 dead colored Democratic voters, put underground by abortion. And now Trump is helping them get jobs and stability. So Trump must go, at any cost. He is succeeding, and this cannot be allowed.
The goal is the same: a Democratic Fascist State, with everything owned by the Dems.

I’m convinced people say “systemic” because they think it makes them sound smart.

The 'Systemic Racism' is concentrated withing that group that makes a very comfortable living by stirring up racial grievances.
Booker T. Washington, a man born a slave, who worked his way up to be the co-founder of Tuskeegee Institute (of Tuskeegee Airmen fame) said this in his book "My Larger Education" :
“There is another class of coloured people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs – partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs.” (p. 118)
This group has joined with Antifa, the violent Communist group that tried to take over Germany in the 1920's and early 1930's, but who were beaten by the National Socialists. Add in the leftist Media constantly egging them on, and the receptive environment of Urban Thug Culture, and you have what we see today.
