President Trump on Tuesday unveiled a plan to make reforms in police departments and acknowledged for the first time the existence of "systemic racism." He also promised to meet with some African American families whose relatives have been killed by police officers.
That is one step toward healing our deep racial divisions.
The next opportunity comes Saturday as the president is scheduled to break his rally "fast" in Tulsa. The Trump campaign claims they have received 800,000 ticket requests. Though not all will get into the 20,000-seat venue, the Trump re-election effort will have mined additional names for its digital campaign.

There is no systematic racism. Twice as many whites have been killed by police as blacks in the past year alone. Please President Trump, do not support their narrative.

A foolish article. Consider "There is only one race -- the human race." and "No race is superior to another." Flatly contradictory statements!
What needs to be said is
"No two humans are the same. None of us is the equal of any other. We have wide differences in our experiences and abilities. The greatness of America is that we have, and we will continue, to harness the best of everyone to create a society which is productive, dynamic, fair and just. We should not aim for a dull and stultifying equality, we want every area of our lives to be enriched by excellence. Where we have gone wrong is the belief that society at large has the wisdom and the will to replace the greatest source of of our species success -- the family. We have seen massive degradation of family structures, and massive failure of schooling supported by public funds in our inner cities. This must end. Every family should have the right to choose where their children will be educated. No family should be encouraged to create a fatherless home. No political party that has presided over the destruction of our inner cities should garner votes. No media should hide these failings. No one protesting today across our great land should be unaware of these basic truths ..."

There is no systemic racism. It is not skin color. It is attitude and behavior. Sadly the ‘in your face’ attitude and abhorrent and unlawful behavior of late is not helpful. President Trump must not kowtow to the left but instead hold all of the domestic terrorist groups accountable. He has been MIA through the COVID-19 ”crisis” and sadly silent while businesses were being destroyed and lives lost.

#5..I agree on the systematic racism, but MIA??? President Trump has directed what will end up being trillions to the life blood of America. He has pushed for reopening and pointed to, time and again the failures of local and state governments on the china virus and letting businesses survive. President Trump has been hammered like no person ,EVER, for trying to right America. Your charge is unfounded. I support President Trump.

As someone once stated;
The destruction of America will not come from invading army's, but will be destroyed by traitors from within.
You are now seeing open treason against our Constitution and Bill of Rights by the Marxist Communist democrats, liberals, rino's, using fear, and tolerance of Satan's evil, as their weapon trying to get total control and submission of the people to sign their own death warrants.

This is not a speech to be delivered at a rally, amid calls to "Drain the Swamp!" and "Lock her UP!" It's not a message to be delivered in Twitter segments. It's a message that demands delivery from the Oval Office, or the Lincoln Memorial, or MLK National Historical Park in Atlanta. And it must be a speech that promotes unity and comity, not accepting blame or generational guilt on the part of anyone, nor blaming for anything. It is not a time for "advice" like get an education, obey the law, or anything else. This could be PDT's true "moment" in history...not at a rally.

Why suggest Ben Carson, a good man, to speak about 'one race theory'? Sounds like pandering to me.

Cal Thomas is a wonderful man - - but - - he is stuck in a time warp - - where he still believes that leftists can have honorable ideas which can be reasoned with.
He is oblivious to the fact that there is a vicious political war - - slowly being transformed into a vicious physical war - - being waged. Cal is far too "nice" to realize that there are leftist thugs approaching him - - ready to slit his throat.
We must all ignore the Cal Thomases of this world. They are nearly as dangerous to the cause of freedom as are the far leftist thugs.

I can’t wait until this afternoon! Giddy with anticipation. Will watch the pre-rally in RSBN, Conservative Treehouse will probably link to it.
We are blessed with the best communicator ever. I understand everything Donald Trump says perfectly, and so does everyone else. The NeverTrumpers are just as much in the pocket of the Illuminati-Globalists as the Marxist-Democrats. If Trump does not win on November 3rd the world goes down the Communist drain. Thank you God for sending US President Donald Trump the Great.

If you’re born black odds are that you’ll be a bastid...with no “family” to raise you right.
If THAT is “systemic”...QUIT procreating 73% out-of-wedlock angry misinformed feral youth ....That’s on YOU, not us!
3 out of 4 black kids wandering the streets asking: “Are you my father”????
Let’s have THAT discussion, black lies!!

I fell this week coming out of Bumzz beach cafe in Myrtle Beah. I hit the ground hard at 71 and a disabled Vet.
Two young black guys helped me up to carry me on their shoulders to carry me to my penthouse.
Almost broke a rib. I thanked them effusively. They were both kind.
Sad its not on phone somewhere. These kind angels. I think of my black buddies in the Nam who lost their lives.
3rdBn/3rd' Marines Khe Sahn, and Con Thien.
Thank you again men.

Drudge has headline in red about the smaller than expected crowd size. I guess this was after the media shouted protesters will be present at the Trump rally. Even good Trump people want to avoid trouble.

Thomas is right in saying that churches can play a central role in addressing some of the issues-- but only if parishioners start acknowledging some central truths, both amongst themselves and to the outside world. And I fear that, as a previous poster said, Cal Thomas is wildly naive.
Just discovered I've been unfriended on Facebook by a friend of color, most probably for my unwavering views on rioting, looting, etc. Apparently when we're obsessing about diversity, diversity of thought is excluded.
