Why Do So Many Christians
Vote Democrat?

Original Article

45% of Catholics and 39% of “Protestant/Other-denomination” Christians voted Democrat in the 2016 Presidential Elections, according to Pew. In other words, Christians have the power to swing the 2020 election—and a responsibility to exercise this power in a way that upholds Biblical values and religious freedom. (snip) Even after the COVID-19 curve not only “flattened” but took a steady downward trajectory in places like San Diego County—California churches were limited to 100 people regardless of venue size. Christians need to understand that churches and religious freedom are being targeted by leftist politics.

I remember seeing so many Obama stickers on cars in my Florida church parking lot when he was first elected and couldnt figure that because one of the first things he did was pass a law that aborted babies that were still alive could not be tended to. Or maybe it was when he was still a senator from Illinois. Anyway, these cars belonged to church members from Puerto Rico, there were many of them. And I wondered how they could overlook the fact that he was a baby killer.

My dear grandfather who died in 1965 was a yellow dog democrat. He hated Franklin Roosevelt with a passion and voted for him 4 times because he was a democrat. My grandfather was also a sincere and devout Catholic. I very much doubt he would vote for any of today's democrats - in fact they would fill him with horror.

And Jews vote overwhelmingly for democrats (just checked stats - 75%). Seriously, what are these religious believers doing? Democrats hate religion of any kind. They (the government) are to be worshipped. Why haven't you figured that out? They want to tell you what to do, when to do, and you must do it their way, you must think their way. They know what is best for you. Just put your life in their hands and your money. I don't get it. Late term abortion alone ought to send them screaming into the night. But it doesn't.

#6 Christians are called sheep by Jesus himself. Sheep are herd animals. What believers need is the good shepherd, and His word. Declining to read an article is a personal preference. Encouraging others to do the same is asking for herd mentality and action that you proclaim to decry. Maybe you need to rethink your reaction.

Mainstream churches have become social clubs rather than preaching the gospel and promoting spiritual and philosophical thought on our Christian beliefs. The so-called Christian universities are following suit. There is a fairly large Christian university in town which has a walking/running track around the campus. They have posted the usual Covid propaganda signs at intervals around the route. One of them reads, "WWJD? He'd stay six feet away." Forget that He healed lepers and cast out demons from the ill and infirmed by touch. I don't care that these signs might have been made by some freshmen special project. The fact they are still up proves the administration are a bunch of subversives or numbskulls or both.

Why? For the same reason so many Jews vote democrat. And for the same reason why Pierre Delecto, Jeff Flake, and Harry Reid are and vote democrat. Democrats are seen as the impoverished little guy and the pubbies are seen as the rich smug white guys. And in today's world, messaging and setting the narrative has everything to do with optics and how the public views a political party. The dims are good at this whereas the pubbies are terrible communicators, except for the President of course.

I think most Christians actually believe in Dem policies including the legal ability for a woman to murder the child in her womb. Without starting an argument about religion, I say that the church has corrupted what Jesus said. The Bible has been translated and transcribed by so many people over the centuries, that meanings and context has been lost on some issues. Some things that remain in the Bible are overlooked, or ignored.

They vote Democrat because of tradition. No thought required. We have always voted Democrat and always will, they say. They are Christian in name only and Democratic in name only. This is simply the way things are, the way they have always been, and the way they will always be. Besides, the Churches gave up on the Gospel years ago.

Well, I imagine #16 that is because a lot of "Christians" don't read the Bible. In Ecclesiastes, it states that wisdom comes only from God. So, if a person is not reading His word, they are leaning on their own narrow-minded information that runs around in their head.

The fact that only 45% of Catholics vote Democrat is actually an improvement. Catholics were traditionally a reliable Democrat bloc vote--as much so as blacks are today. Ironically, the Catholic vote became more Republican after Kennedy was elected. The civil unrest in the 60's and ultimately, the abortion issue, drove many Catholics from the Democrat party.

In my humble opinion, I think those Catholics who live in Blue States will continue to vote Democrat no matter what orders come down from the Democrat Governor. The Gov can order them to stay in Lock down until Election Day and they will simply go to the Precinct and pull the Lever for Biden. It's a "my family always voted Democrat and I will as well. No reason for it, just a family tradition. Those Catholic Dems who crossed over last election will probably stick with Trump thanks to the Mob Looting and burning while their governor allowed it. Federal judge blocks Biden vaccine mandate

A federal judge blocked the federal government on Monday from mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for health care workers in South Dakota and nine other states. U.S. District Judge Matthew Schelp in the Eastern District of Missouri wrote in his ruling that regulations handed down by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services earlier this month were issued improperly. The agency did not get approval from Congress to mandate vaccinations for health care workers, Schelp wrote, which he argued was necessary given the mandate's "vast economic and political significance." The rules were also issued without a standard period for public comment, which Schelp said the agency's justification for was not suitable.

Throughout the existence of the scientific process, replicating results has always been a necessary component in order to gain a scientific consensus and gauge the accuracy of the results of whatever test or calculations were conducted, but when the supposedly trustworthy experts find something in the results that doesn’t fit the approved narrative – leading them to bury the information – the credibility of the scientific establishment goes completely out the window. Monroe, La. - A federal district court in Monroe on Tuesday said a federal agency had overstepped its authority and temporarily ended the requirement that millions of healthcare workers nationwide get vaccinated before Monday, Dec. 6. “There is no question that mandating a vaccine to 10.3 million healthcare workers is something that should be done by Congress, not a government agency. It is not clear that even an Act of Congress mandating a vaccine would be constitutional,” wrote U.S. District Judge Terry A. Doughty sitting in Monroe for the Western District of Louisiana. He expanded his order to include all states but those that have already enjoined the rule.
