House Dem threatens Trump Jr. with
'serious altercation' after comments
on coronavirus

Rep. John Garamendi, D-Calif., appeared to threaten Donald Trump Jr., the president's son, on Friday, warning that they better not be in close quarters or they could have a "serious altercation." He made those comments on MSNBC while discussing the coronavirus. MSNBC anchor Hallie Jackson had asked the congressman about Trump Jr.'s argument that Democrats were hoping for deaths from the coronavirus so it could end his father's winning streak. "He should not be near me when he says that," Garamendi responded. "There would be a serious altercation. That is just totally outrageous. That is totally outrageous."

This is exactly what the Dems are hoping, no, PRAYING for, that the virus spreads so they can blame Trump. Garamendi is a coward who blusters on TV but would turn tail if DJT Jr got in his face.

Whether due to not clearly hearing what Donald Trump, Jr. actually said, or being misinformed by a member of his staff, Congressman Garamendi mischaracterized what Donald Trump, Jr. said: “But for them to try to take a pandemic and SEEMINGLY HOPE that it comes here and kills millions of people so that they can end Donald Trump’s streak of winning is a new level of sickness,” he continued. “I don’t know if this is Coronavirus or Trump Derangement Syndrome, but these people are infected badly.” Democrats are known for exploiting their opposition opinions as factual, but if a Republican expresses an opposition opinion, Democrats go ballistic. Typical Democrat double standard. Congressman Garamendi who owes Donald Trump, Jr. an apology.

Garamendi has always been an air head. From the time he and his wife Patti were in the Peace Corps, he has done nothing but feed at the public garbage pail. He claims to be a rancher in central CA, but the only time you see him looking like a country boy is when he is running for some political office. The Dems are very much politicizing the Coronavirus outbreak, using a 2-prong approach (blaming Trump for the spread, attacking the economy by getting conventions, festivals, and other major events cancelled, wiping out the travel and hospitality sectors). Not only does getting the economy to collapse take away Trump's biggest campaign advantage, it also serves to make switching to socialism seem less unreasonable to the population. Another celebrity boxing match? Or would cultural shifts in entertainment warrant a move to the octagon?

A federal appeals court on Friday slapped a temporary halt on the Remain-in-Mexico policy -- one of the most effective Trump administration policies in halting last year’s migrant crisis -- dealing a significant blow to the administration's efforts to control the flow of migrants claiming asylum at the southern border. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco ruled in a 2-1 vote to put a hold on the policy -- formally known as the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP). In a separate ruling Friday, the same court also blocked an administration policy that prevents immigrants who crossed the border illegally from then claiming asylum in the U.S.

A House Oversight Committee hearing on voter suppression in minority communities erupted into a shouting match Wednesday when Rep. Toward the end of Massie's time, witness Timothy Jenkins, who serves on the board of social justice organization Teaching for Change, criticized Massie for steering the hearing in what he believed was the wrong direction. To underscore his point, Jenkins claimed that "nobody has died" because they were deprived of the right to carry a gun. Massie was quick to tell him otherwise.
