Theater of the absurd: China, Russia, Cuba
elected to UN's Human Rights Council

Original Article

This week, China, Russia, and Cuba were elected to the United Nations' Human Rights Council. This trio of countries is among the worst offenders of human rights on the planet. If this were an election for United Nations human rights abusers, China would bring home the gold medal. No amount of double-talk about regional representation or anything else can justify this travesty. This is yet another example, as if one was needed, showing not just how useless the U.N. is, but how corrupt and downright immoral it is.

Comments:

Please Mr. President, end our support of the corrupt UN and evict them from our shores. Let them set up in Pyongyang or Tehran where they belong.

Foxy Loxy, Br'er fox, and Fantastic Mr. Fox voted to be in charge of the Hen House Welfare Council. Reality is more absurd than fiction. Most absurd of all is that we are the number one primary funder of at the most powerful world wide anti-American organization. Ponder that...

The UN is the exemplar of the American Left's dream for the USA. They are working relentlessly toward an America that is post-national, racialist in every aspect of its being, anti-family (the "village" will raise your child whether you want us to or not), kleptocratic, despotic, inhumane to the weak, pusillanimous to the strong, and, above all, undemocratic, opposed to a republican form of government, and fanatically in support of the political over the personal.

We know it's absurd but the leaders of these people-tormenting communist countries can bring up the shield of defense provided by the UN when fingers are pointed their way. See, the rest of the world doesn't think we abuse our people, why do you?

The UN has devolved into an organization who's main focus seems to be to redistribute US wealth, while weakening our economic and military strength. It's way past time to end our participation in an organization dedicated to our collapse as a country.

We need to recognize that these positions are filled based on dependencies and relationships, not someone's ideals. We either need to change the process, or get out. I think get out, and remove any legitimacy of these organizations for speaking under the camouflage of altruism.

The great Twitter and Facebook masquerade is over. Posing as disinterested and neutral media platforms, they have unmasked themselves as partisan protectors of Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden and propaganda advocates of the progressive cause. It is time that Twitter and Facebook be forced to halt their destructive practices or be broken up. The two technology giants wield too much marketplace power in the ever-expanding social media universe. With power comes abuse.

If you plan on voting for him again, unfriend me and go f--- yourself again.”

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Hundreds of California-based corporations must have directors from racial or sexual minorities on their boards under a first-in-the-nation bill signed Wednesday by Gov. Gavin Newsom. The diversity legislation is similar to a 2018 measure that required boardrooms to have at least one female director by 2019. Like that measure, it could face court challenges from conservative groups who view it as a discriminatory quota.  Corrections*

If Barrett has a similar effect on turnout — mobilizing more Democrats than Republicans — that’s even math that Trump can do, and it isn’t good for him. Trump needs every vote he can get.

Sen. Kamala Harris is the very embodiment of today’s progressives. She proved this again and again on the debate stage with Vice President Mike Pence, most clearly in her continual willingness to twist or rewrite history to make a point. This time she simply made up a story about Abraham Lincoln’s decision to appoint Salmon P. Chase to the U.S. Supreme Court as the election of 1864 approached. Chief Justice Roger Taney, author of the notorious Dred Scott decision and an implacable foe of the president, died in early October.
