The Hennepin County Attorney’s office says Davis-Miles and his friends followed the 75-year-old victim off of a Metro Transit bus at about 2:45 p.m. after the man asked them to stop talking so loud. Surveillance camera footage at the Chicago-Lake Transit Center appears to show Davis-Miles, whose face was off-camera, lunge at the victim as if to strike him. Robert “Bob” Norris, the “ruggedly handsome” cowboy who rose to fame as the “Marlboro Man”, has died. He was 90.
Norris passed away on Nov. 3 in his hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado under the care of Pikes Peak Hospice, according to his obituary. He was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.
The Colorado native is best known for being one of the first to portray the “Marlboro Man” in the cigarette company’s commercials.
In the ads, Norris was always featured in a fictional world of ranching, wearing cowboy attire — including his iconic cowboy hat — as he held a cigarette in either his mouth or his hand.
Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) defended remarks this week in which he called Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “dumb," saying that his comments were “accurate.”

Former U.S. President Donald Trump adviser Charles Kupperman’s lawsuit asking the courts whether he should testify in the House impeachment probe forced Democrats to rescind their subpoena.
“The subpoena at issue in this matter has been withdrawn, and there is no current intention to reissue it,” Democrats wrote in court filings, the Hill reported.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF), a group that litigates to protect election integrity, discovered double voting by the same registrants, double registrants across state lines, deceased voters on rolls, and apparent noncitizens previously registered to vote in Palm Beach County following a three-month investigation involving office visits, records inspections, and voter roll audits.

It’s been a very good year for Tiger Woods. He just won his 82nd tournament, moving into a tie for all-time first place, and while he is also second in major victories to only Jack Nicklaus, he closed that gap too with a dramatic comeback win at the Masters.
Now Tiger is stalking Jack in another profession, course design. Admittedly Nicklaus has a much bigger lead here, having done over 400 courses to Tiger’s handful—most of which are in far-flung parts of the world and still quite a ways from their grand openings. But in this case it looks like Tiger might actually be off to the better start:

Earlier this week, the world’s news media reported breathlessly that 11,000 scientists had issued a report contending that the Earth faces a “climate emergency.” NBC News, to cite just one example, described a “study” produced by an “international consortium of more than 11,000 scientists.” This screen shot of a Google search illustrates the coverage:(Snip for screenshot)Actually, there was no study, there was just a press release. And it wasn’t 11,000 scientists, it was 11,000 random people who put their names on a web page. But today’s reporters are so biased and so incompetent that when it comes to “climate change,” they will swallow anything.
