GOP senator defends
calling Pelosi 'dumb':
'What I said was accurate'

Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) defended remarks this week in which he called Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) “dumb," saying that his comments were “accurate.” “Well, I didn't mean disrespect,” he said Friday on Fox News, “but I do think what I said was accurate.” “Let me say it again: I think that what Speaker Pelosi is doing here is not only dumb, but it's dangerous," he said, referring to the House Democrats' impeachment inquiry led by Pelosi. "It's a partisan impeachment, clearly," he continued. "All impeachments, I guess, are political. But, this one's 100 percent political and it's going to establish a new norm for America that I think is bad for us.”

Thank you Senator for not apologizing like your fellow Republicans often do. Pelosi is not only dumb, but also malicious. At a very young age, most of us are taught about right and wrong. Obviously, she did not learn that basic life lesson. What she's doing is wrong and bad for the American people. And since she's in charge of the House, she'll be the one who ultimately will be blamed for this travesty of justice. I hope she and that piece of Schiff creep get to experience the malevolence of this wrongdoing.

Pelosi is NOT dumb, she is simply IGNORANT and EGOTISTICAL. She, and most like her in Congress, think they are the rulers of the Universe. If she was rational she would have never caved to the LEFT. She could have cooperated with Trump and been a hero; Instead she is a twisted fool making absolutely stupid, irrational statements and supporting insane policies.

At least the very good thing to come out of this is Kennedy, from my former home state of Louisiana, didn't apologize or back down. Too many Republicans would 'walk it back' to add to that like Dr. Dutton would say Pelosi and her ilk are 'mutants'.

The death rattle of the Never Trump Republicans 20 replies
Posted by M2 11/13/2019 7:04:02 AM Post Reply
Never Trump Republicanism isn't quite dead, but it sure is getting close. Ever since President Trump burst onto the political scene and quickly shot to the top of the polls months from the start of the 2016 primary season, mainstream Republican politicians and pundits have been forced to respond. First there was dismissal and condescension. Then, once the voting began, there was concern mixed with certainty that Trump's support would soon collapse. This was followed by panic when it didn't. By the summer of 2016, the institutional GOP was deeply divided between those who favored rallying around the unorthodox nominee and others who favored sabotage —

Rev. Cor Mennen, a retired priest in the Netherlands, recently wrote on his blog that he thinks Pope Francis is a "heretic," and explained that excessive respect by Catholics towards the papacy is not a virtue given that Christ Himself rebuked the first Pope, St. Peter, ordering him to "Get thee behind me, Satan!" Fr. Mennen, 74, was ordained a priest in 1969. He also holds a degree in ecclesiastical law and is vice chairman of the board of the Latin Liturgy Association. There’s no doubt Kanye West has found religion. Listen to the musically arresting “Jesus is King,” and you’ll hear a powerful, positive case for a personal relationship with G-d. But will secular Americans heed his call? Considering that we’re living in historically peaceful and prosperous times, it’s notable how misery stalks many Americans like a shadow. Countless government programs have tried to fix what ails us, at least since the Great Society got going, and it never quite works. That’s why I’m hoping Kanye’s music will inspire more Americans to join his religious journey.

A headline I read this weekend proclaimed that Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, the Klan-hood-wearing gent formerly known at VMI as “Coonman,” was “working on” possible gun confiscation in Virginia now that money on the Left has successfully buried his racism and bought the legislature for their party. Aside from the obvious commentary about what happens when Democrats obtain power, the headline suggests a far deeper problem confronting our country. It is only a matter of time before anti-constitutional forces seize control of the Senate, or perhaps the White House, and when they do, what historically American citizens consider to be unalienable rights will suddenly

It is time for journalists to do their job and tell the public, especially the young, the devastation that electing Democrats and imposing their policies on the American people would cause. Everything the Democrats are proposing relating to the economy involves imposing major tax increases and substantial increases in regulations. Every policy involves transferring massive amounts of money, power and freedom from businesses and the people and handing it over to the very wealthy politicians and bureaucrats in DC who produce nothing. If they get elected and get three of their proposals enacted the economic collapse would be greater than anything we have ever seen.
