A federal judge on Tuesday rejected a bid to block Tennessee’s new Congressional map that eliminates a racially gerrymandered district. Earlier this month, Tennessee Republicans passed a new congressional map that eliminated Democrat Rep. Steve Cohen’s Memphis district. Tennessee became the ninth state to approve a new congressional map amid the redistricting wars. A judge previously allowed Tennessee’s new congressional map to stand. Tennessee Republicans eliminated Cohen’s congressional district after the Supreme Court’s blockbuster ruling on racial gerrymandering.

Racially created districts are unconstitutional, SCOTUS has ruled. This is in compliance with that ruling.

The irony is that this district that the NAACP thinks should be represented by a minority has been held by a white man for the twenty years. But suddenly it is now a racial issue. Ha!

Far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) appears to be moving toward a possible run for the White House, Axios reported Sunday. Although she has said she has not made a decision on the matter, Ocasio-Cortez has been on a national tour rallying voters and making endorsements in several races, the outlet said. The Axios article detailed some of her recent movements and plans: Addressed the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta with Georgia Sen. Raphael Warnock. (Democrats note that Warnock, the church’s senior pastor, doesn’t always allow visiting politicians to speak at this church. Former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg didn’t speak when he visited in March.) … This week, Ocasio-Cortez will travel to Missoula, Mont.,

Billionaire California gubernatorial candidate Tom Steyer said he fully supports transgender-identifying males playing on females’ high school sports teams — despite concerns over women’s safety and fairness in athletics. Steyer, who is endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made the comment during an interview on the I’ve Had It podcast with far-left host Jennifer Welch, which was released Sunday. “You talked about trans people. I’m totally in favor of trans athletes in high school,” Steyer said. “I think when you understand the vulnerability, the stress, the danger of being a trans kid, and you understand that almost half of them try to commit suicide,” he said,

In another major win for President Trump’s efforts to right the wrongs of the weaponized Biden DOJ and FBI, and to fully restore the rights of all January 6 defendants, the Department of Justice filed a motion late Friday night, May 22, asking D.C. District Court Judge Amit Mehta to dismiss with prejudice the underlying indictments against the eight innocent Oath Keepers defendants whose sentences were commuted (but not fully pardoned) by President Trump. They were released from prison on Inauguration Night 2025, just as four Proud Boys leaders likewise had their sentences commuted rather than pardoned, and were released from prison.

In an incident that belongs in Ripley’s Believe It or Not!, a dog managed to fire a gun and hit a woman while it was inside a vehicle last week in Nebraska. As KNOP reported, Scottsbluff police officers were called to Short Stop at 2002 Avenue I in the city after receiving a report that a person had been shot by a BB gun at 12:07 p.m. They were later informed while driving to the gas station and convenience store that the incident involved a shotgun. When the police arrived, they were confronted with a shocking truth: the culprit responsible for the shooting incident was not human. Rather, it was man’s best friend.

CNN is one of the worst, if not the worst, offenders in the mainstream media when it comes to feigning "concern" over President Donald Trump's health, in part by using out-of-context photos and videos of Trump with his eyes appearing to be closed during meetings as "evidence" that he has a sleeping problem. The most recent instance came earlier in the day, Tuesday, when they brought in a resident "health expert" to demand explanations from Trump's doctors about supposed issues related in part to Trump allegedly being seen falling asleep when he's sitting in the Oval Office during informal press briefings and the like.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is known for taking on many jobs at once, and on Tuesday, he donned the hat of chief U.S. trade negotiator with Armenia as he signed a strategic partnership agreement with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The agreement covers critical minerals and also bolsters cooperation on the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP), a 27-mile rail and road corridor that would go through southern Armenia. It would enhance trade by linking Central Asia to Turkey and Europe while — crucially — bypassing Russia and Iran.

For many years the Soviet Union, and then Russia, financed the environmental movement in the United States. Their purpose was to suppress American production of oil and gas, and they succeeded to a considerable degree, to their own great benefit. Today, we are in the midst of another kind of race with Communist China–the race to develop superior systems of artificial intelligence. The Chinese Communist Party knows that if it wins this race, it will contribute greatly to its dreams of world domination, while if it loses, China, with its rapidly shrinking population, could be on the way to the garbage dump of history.
