There is something going on at the Obama household, and it looks like Trump Derangement Syndrome to me. It appears that Mr. & Mrs. Obama have the same problem that so many Democrats have, i.e. too much thinking about Trump. There is a story at The Guardian that I had to share with you today. Here it goes: Barack Obama has offered a rare and candid glimpse into his marriage - and it turns out Donald Trump is causing trouble at home. The former President, 64, admitted in an interview that Michelle wants him to step back from public life so the couple can enjoy their later years together.

Obama is obviously not going away on his own. Maybe somebody could lock him in his concrete prison in Chicago and throw the key into the lake.

If Mrs. Obama wants Mr. Obama to step back from public activity so as to enjoy the fruits of their labors I suggest she take her own advice. The lady, it seems can't keep her pie hole shut about the abuse her and her cohorts receive . She's all over the front page.

The Kenyan Lightbringer (aka The Magic Negro) is a classic case of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He and Mike Robinson are never going to go away, as long as some dweeb “journalist” is there to interview one or the other of them. They’re convinced they’re the greatest gift to the world. The thing is, they’re always bitching about something, and it’s always the fault of white people or Republicans. They’re never going to be happy - and they’re never going to shut up and go away.

These two have suffered from TDS for decades. This is nothing new. I suspect there is something coming down the pike for Obama from the DOJ from which Michelle wants him to distance himself.

The article lost me when 0bama indicated in an interview that "Michelle" wanted him to step back so that they could spend their later years together. What a howler that was! The perpetually pizzed former First "Lady" really doesn't want him around at all IMO. The only possible reason it may be the case is to allow them time to get their stories straight before they hear that knock on the door one morning at 6:00 AM. Cue the "Dragnet" theme song for LDotters who are old enough to remember.

For months, I’ve been a bit confused about “affordability,” the latest Democrat meme. Then, early last week, I read a piece about “affordability” and realized: “of course.” Affordability is just the Democrats’ latest excuse for giving out free stuff to their supporters, paid for by you and me. Even though I can’t find the article that I read, I wrote about “affordability” on my Substack. If you look at the Congressional Progressive Caucus “New Affordability Agenda” you realize that Affordability is not just about free stuff, but something else.

J.B. Pritzker's contemptible reaction to the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump at the White House Correspondents Dinner was about as bad as one can imagine, but things devolved into a complete and hilarious self-own when Pritzker's "Trump started it" rationale was lost in the blur of his own memory. Only long-time, discerning readers of PJ Media will appreciate that the joke was on Pritzker. And, I must say, it's hard to write when you're laughing at him so much. I'll bravely press on, however. Pritzker was interviewed on CNN Monday — that's a day-and-a-half after the crazed leftist TDS-afflicted Democrat would-be killer attacked

Democrat voters would understandably like to be involved in selecting their presidential nominee, and some found themselves frustrated that they didn’t get a chance to do it in 2024. For example, actor Jerry O’Connell visited Bill Maher’s show recently to reveal that his family got angry and physical with him when he suggested the unthinkable in Democrat orthodoxy about the 2024 presidential campaign. “There was no planning,” he told his family, continuing to say that “this [defeat] is what they get. There should have been a primary.” He naively claims that the lack of a primary to allow Democrat voter influence reflects a lack of planning.

Just 18 hours after the assassination attempt on President Donald Trump and high-ranking officials in his administration, Democrat candidate for the California governorship Katie Porter sent out an expletive laced email aimed at Trump. The language used in the email is highly profane, so fair warning. While the expletives are incredibly asinine, the real kicker is the second to last paragraph. “We know what Trump is willing to do and how far he is willing to go — he’s willing to kill people in the streets, to rip healthcare away, to ruthlessly attack our democracy,” the email read.

With now the third serious assassination attempt against President Trump on the books, it is an important juncture to examine the intellectual gleischaltung that encourages American society and global society to view Republican Presidents as the height of all evil. More than Kim Jong Un of North Korea, more than Vladimir Putin of Russia, more than Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran, more than Chairman Xi of China, Republican Presidents are rhetorically imbued with intrinsic evil that requires all available means of persuasion -- including assassination. Since the assassination of Lincoln, the press and academic culture have worked together to create a sense of moral purpose in killing Republican presidents.

Britain’s civilizational collapse bothers me. As much as we Americans enjoy defining ourselves by the whooping our ancestors gave to the Crown, Brits and Yanks share a common language, enjoy similar beliefs, and broadly relate to one another. Rebelling against the British Empire is one thing. Watching foreign peoples conquer what’s left of that empire in another thing altogether. Every day the United Kingdom becomes less united and more likely to collapse upon itself. The U.K.’s media Establishment used popular actor Idris Elba to promote a documentary last year entitled, “Our Knife Crime Crisis.”

Robert Mueller, who died on March 20 at age 81, once stood as a symbol of public integrity. His record was not merely respectable. It was exceptional. He served as director of the FBI for 12 years, having been confirmed by a 98-0 Senate vote, and took office just days before the Sept. 11 attacks. He was a decorated Marine, awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart for his service in Vietnam. His leadership helped transform the FBI into a counterterrorism-focused agency during one of the most perilous periods in modern American history. By the time he was appointed special counsel in May 2017, Mueller was widely described as beyond reproach.

Cesar Chavez, founder of the United Farm Workers, eventually became the symbolic leader of the entire Mexican-American community of the 1960s and 1970s. Indeed, he was eventually enshrined in the pantheon of modern leftist activists and civil rights leaders alongside Saul Alinsky, Martin Luther King Jr., and Betty Friedan. His Chavez Foundation today emphasizes Chavez's saintlike status as "a genuinely religious and spiritual figure." His Tehachapi redoubt remains a national monument. In public, Chavez stressed nonstop his common-man roots, his strong Catholicism, and his devotion to wife and family, and thereby turned the struggle to provide a livable wage and humane working conditions for farm workers

For nearly a decade, Americans were told that powerful institutions had been weaponized against a sitting president and his supporters. Intelligence agencies, federal law enforcement, and political operatives were accused of bending the machinery of government toward partisan ends. The promise from President Donald Trump was clear: expose it, clean it up, and drain the swamp. Now more than a year into Trump’s second term, many voters are beginning to ask a simple question: Where are the results?

Occasionally I hear credentialed professionals with prestigious titles whine about the so-called “war on expertise.” It really bothers people who see themselves as “experts” that a growing share of society ignores them. A psychologist might intuit something revealing from the lack of self-confidence plaguing our “expert” class. If all the fancy degrees, voluminous curricula vitae, and lofty career positions have failed to instill a resilient modicum of self-esteem, then perhaps all those things are not the true measures of a person’s worth. “Experts” do not like to be challenged. Ungainly lapel pins that “capture the silhouette” of the Obama Presidential Center are going for $30 in the online store. “The pin represents the intersection of bold design and global leadership,” the website reads, noting the proceeds go to the Obama Foundation “to inspire, empower and connect people to change their world.”

Washington, D.C., judge on Monday apologized to the suspect who allegedly opened fire during the White House Correspondents' dinner last month for how he has been treated by authorities in jail. Cole Tomas Allen, a resident of Torrance, California, was placed under suicide watch at the D.C. jail because he allegedly told the FBI that he expected to die during the shooting. Suicide watch protocols mandated Allen remain on a 24-hour lockdown in a "safe cell," with no phone access to call or receive visits from anyone other than his legal team. Prosecutor Jocelyn Ballantine claimed that since Allen told investigators he did not expect to survive the alleged attack,

Another pharmacy is leaving Chicago because of theft, and somehow, the villain of the story is not the people stealing from it. The villain is apparently the business itself, which finally decided it had enough and decided to cut its losses. According to a report from the Chicago Sun-Times, a Walgreens located at 8628 S. Cottage Grove Ave. in the crime-ridden area is set to close permanently on June 4. Democratic Alderman William Hall joined residents outside the store Monday, where signs read “Senior Lives Matter” and “End Corporate Abandonment.” “Walgreens should be charged with first-degree corporate abandonment,” Hall said. “It should be a crime the way they’re treating our elders.

When my kids were very young, one of the first words that we banned was “stupid.” No one is stupid, I would tell them; some people just don’t think things through. Well, to borrow from that explanation, I probably didn’t think that all the way through. While I don’t regret teaching the kids not to use “the S word,” as we used to call it, the older I’ve gotten, I’ve had to face the reality that, yes, some people who otherwise are of sound mind are just stupid. Nowhere is this more evident than on social media. The latest example is a social media manager, of all things,

The Supreme Court ruled Monday its prior ruling on race-based congressional districts takes immediate effect. The order {SEE HERE} speeds up the normal 32-day timeline and puts the State of Louisiana on notice their current districts are not constitutional. Effectively the Louisiana Governor and legislature have delayed the election to address the districts. However, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson was not happy with the immediacy ruling and wrote a dissent that was so ridiculous none of the other minority justices would sign on to it. Jackson said the majority “unshackles itself” from “constraints.” The court should follow the default rule, she insisted.

In its recent Callais decision, the Supreme Court held that districts gerrymandered solely so that blacks can have a separate and special say in politics are unconstitutional. While past elections cannot be changed, future elections must be corrected. Callais asked that the Court immediately certify the decision, which is normally a 32-day process. Louisiana agreed. Because November’s elections are quickly approaching, the Supreme Court held that, yes, it could immediately certify the opinion. Callais is final. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson issued a strong dissent to this procedural holding. She opened by pointing out that Louisiana

South Carolina GOP Rep. Nancy Mace claimed Monday that Congress’ sexual harassment slush fund allegedly paid for settlements for a handful of former lawmakers that equaled more than $300,000. Mace promised accountability for the victims, and the House paid out approximately $338,000 to settle the cases. One former lawmaker was targeted in sexual assault lawsuits three times and the House cumulatively paid out $115,000 to dismiss those cases. The House Oversight panel subpoenaed information detailing the government payouts after a March committee vote, seeking a full accounting of payouts made before the settlements ended in 2018, according to Politico.

The suspected hantavirus outbreak on the MV Hondius cruise ship, which has killed three people and sickened at least seven others, has two likely causes — and both are bad news for the 150 passengers on board, experts said. The more likely scenario would be passengers contracting the virus from the feces, urine or saliva of infected rats or mice. That’s the usual transmission vector, according to physician Zaid Fadul, a former Air Force flight surgeon — although the World Health Organization insisted Tuesday that no rodents have been found on the stranded liner. But there’s one strain of the hantavirus that has an alarming exception —

Supporters of the Supreme Court ruling urged the court to allow it to take effect immediately so Louisiana has time to redraw the maps,
