Dem representative admits to working with

A Democratic lawmaker is drawing backlash after saying she spoke with foreign ambassadors about getting oil to Cuba despite U.S. sanctions, defending the outreach as "literally our right and responsibility." Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., made the remarks during a recent Seattle briefing following a congressional delegation trip to Cuba, where she discussed the island’s worsening fuel shortages and U.S. policy toward the communist regime. "I was in conversations with the ambassadors from Mexico and some other places … trying to figure out how to get oil there," Jayapal said during the briefing, calling the situation on the island "a crisis beyond imagination." Jayapal said the event was

Let me defend Jayapal. Since she is a born and bred American - oh, wait, she was born in India and raised in Eastern Asia. Since she was born into poverty and had to toil - oh, wait. She was born into a wealthy family and came to the U.S. to study at Georgetown and later Northwestern….Since she became a U.S. citizen as a young woman - oh, wait she became a citizen 6 years ago at age 54. Since she is fabulously wealthy and shares a vision of comfort for all using the only system that lifts people out of poverty, capitalism…on, wait, she’s a communist. Hmmm. Well since she is a wonderful wife and mother….oh wait, she is the proud mother of a transgender (read “narcissisticly insane”) child. Well, she brings beauty and loveliness…..oh never mind. What is this hag doing here at all let alone Congress?

Another indication that foreign born people (aliens) who come to the USA as foreign students or as immigrants as adults, and no doubt are so-called “duel citizens” of both the foreign country of their birth and as naturalized US citizens, should not be qualified to be elected as Members of Congress or appointed as Federal Judges, just as such people have always been disqualified from being elected to the office of the US Presidency. Unfortunately that would likely take a constitutional amendment to implement and the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats would oppose that 101%. You would think that an individual Member of Congress, who opposes the elected President of the USA as he carries out the foreign policy of the USA, would be considered to be very wrong in traveling to an adversary foreign country, and negotiating with the leaders of that country, to essentially sabotage the USA President’s foreign policy objectives. I guess we will see what the wimpy Republicans do about that!

This is why I cringe when President Trump starts talking about welcoming in legal immigrants. Sorry, but too many Indians, Pakistanis and Malaysians, etc in this country. Have a neighbor from Malaysia. He and wife are naturalized. He came to the USA not be an American, but because in Malaysia, being Hindi means you're a minority and less opportunities. Sorry - that is not the basis to become an American.

President Trump has repeatedly referred to Kim Jong-un as his “friend.” I recognize that this is a bargaining technique and that it is necessary to employ deception when dealing with the likes of Kim, but I wish Trump would not do it. Kim Jong-un is not Trump’s friend; he is not anybody’s friend. He oversees the operation of brutal concentration camps, and he has reportedly carried out hundreds of executions, most of them public and involving firing squads but some private and involving the killing of pregnant women and teenagers and using blunt instruments such as pipes and hammers. No one who represses his people

Enter Stephen Colbert, who is now the latest to join the “kiss Obama’s butt” effort. At one point, the former President said this: I’m worried about the Republican Party, not just the Democrat Party. When I was president, people would ask me, ‘What change would you like to see in Washington?’ I’d say, I’d love a loyal opposition. I’d love a Republican Party that was conservative in some ways, that didn’t agree with me on a whole bunch of stuff,

A Frontier Airlines plane aborted takeoff after it struck a person on a runway at Denver International Airport late Friday, a spokesperson for the carrier and the Federal Aviation Administration told CNN. Flight 4345, an Airbus A321, was departing from Denver en route to Los Angeles and carried 224 passengers and 7 crew members, Frontier Airlines said in a statement. It was scheduled to depart at 10:39 p.m. local time. As the plane was departing, “the aircraft reportedly struck a pedestrian on the runway during takeoff,” the airline said. “Smoke was reported in the cabin and the pilots aborted takeoff. Passengers were then safely evacuated via slides as a matter of precaution.”

It's incredibly demoralizing to law-abiding, rule-following, normal Americans to watch Democrats publicly commit crimes without ever getting in trouble for it. I’m not talking about the indictments and prosecutions of high-level Democrats on charges that may or may not hold up in court — the Jim Comeys and Letitia Jameses. These prosecutions may or may not be at least partly politically motivated, but Democrats will always think that's all they were. For decades The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) terrorized the right-of-center political spectrum with fear of being put on SPLC’s “Hate Watch” lists. As I’ve discussed in many recent interviews, the lists were political clubs used against people like Dr. Ben Carson, Prof. Carol Swain, Rand Paul, the Family Research Council, and countless others who did not deserve to be on a list next to Neo-Nazis. We have been on SPLC’s case for over 15 years, SPLC’s hate lists were inflated both by counting “chapters” as individual groups (thereby inflating the numbers) as well as including groups that may have been nothing more than websites with no on-the-ground presence.

It's just not remotely likely that would be true, and that bothers me because it's not like there isn't enough good news to go around, like the latest comments from the DOJ. Not surprisingly, Democrat House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08) isn't talking much about "maximum warfare" at the moment, but he does seem to think Democrats may have another option or two on the table: (X) Jeffries' vow to "explore other options" was echoed by Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones (D), who paused his fantasies about killing former GOP colleagues to bizarrely accuse the Virginia Supreme Court of partisanship:

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed that the shocking accident Friday night in which one individual was killed and more than a dozen more injured was the result of a deliberate trespass on the part of the dead man. Duffy’s conclusion was to warn people not to trespass at airports, because, of course, they are not prepared for random people to run suddenly across runways. But frankly, I think if someone deliberately managed to penetrate that far into an airport as a breach, and walked right out in front of an airplane in takeoff sequence, the person was either on drugs or suicidal.
