A Democratic lawmaker is drawing backlash after saying she spoke with foreign ambassadors about getting oil to Cuba despite U.S. sanctions, defending the outreach as "literally our right and responsibility."
Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., made the remarks during a recent Seattle briefing following a congressional delegation trip to Cuba, where she discussed the island’s worsening fuel shortages and U.S. policy toward the communist regime.
"I was in conversations with the ambassadors from Mexico and some other places … trying to figure out how to get oil there," Jayapal said during the briefing, calling the situation on the island "a crisis beyond imagination." Jayapal said the event was

All the evil in this very common person shows through on her face and in every word she speaks.
It's horrifying that good Americas are ruled over by people like her. And they hand around for decades multiplying the malfeasance.

If I did something like this when I was working for the government, I'd be breaking rocks in Ft. Leavenworth right now. Why does she get to commit what is essentially TREASON and skate off scot-free?

Let me defend Jayapal. Since she is a born and bred American - oh, wait, she was born in India and raised in Eastern Asia. Since she was born into poverty and had to toil - oh, wait. She was born into a wealthy family and came to the U.S. to study at Georgetown and later Northwestern….Since she became a U.S. citizen as a young woman - oh, wait she became a citizen 6 years ago at age 54. Since she is fabulously wealthy and shares a vision of comfort for all using the only system that lifts people out of poverty, capitalism…on, wait, she’s a communist. Hmmm. Well since she is a wonderful wife and mother….oh wait, she is the proud mother of a transgender (read “narcissisticly insane”) child. Well, she brings beauty and loveliness…..oh never mind. What is this hag doing here at all let alone Congress?

I am personally offended that this woman breathes the same air as me. She’s a prime example of the type of person we should never have allowed to set foot in this country, let alone run for office. Democrats should be ashamed of her. The trouble is, they’re not.

Another indication that foreign born people (aliens) who come to the USA as foreign students or as immigrants as adults, and no doubt are so-called “duel citizens” of both the foreign country of their birth and as naturalized US citizens, should not be qualified to be elected as Members of Congress or appointed as Federal Judges, just as such people have always been disqualified from being elected to the office of the US Presidency. Unfortunately that would likely take a constitutional amendment to implement and the leftist, progressive, and socialist Democrats would oppose that 101%. You would think that an individual Member of Congress, who opposes the elected President of the USA as he carries out the foreign policy of the USA, would be considered to be very wrong in traveling to an adversary foreign country, and negotiating with the leaders of that country, to essentially sabotage the USA President’s foreign policy objectives. I guess we will see what the wimpy Republicans do about that!

Cuba can still import windmills and solar panels, so, what's the emergency?
This is a perfect time to show how clean energy gets done.

This is why I cringe when President Trump starts talking about welcoming in legal immigrants. Sorry, but too many Indians, Pakistanis and Malaysians, etc in this country. Have a neighbor from Malaysia. He and wife are naturalized. He came to the USA not be an American, but because in Malaysia, being Hindi means you're a minority and less opportunities. Sorry - that is not the basis to become an American.

We cannot continue to allow these protected classes to run amok and make a mockery of our legal system. Make an example of her. Stop the corruption in its tracks.

We should never allow people from third world countries in Congress. From what I have seen of them, they defy our culture and laws and encourage their county men to steal from us by abusing the welfare benefits we offer.

Sigh. Another foreign born Commie comes here and tries to destroy our country and our values, at the same time helping our enemies. Her name is Jayapal or is it Rashida Tlaib or Ilhan Omar.

Maybe she should pay for them oil out of her own pocket and send it to Cuba where they don't have any money to pay for it. Perhaps if that occurred she might shut up for once. Where do the democrats find these women?
