Data Breach Exposing French Gun Owners
a Warning to America

Anytime there's a list of anything, there are going to be people who want to view that list for whatever reason. As we are firmly in the 21st century, that list is going to be digital more often than not, and that means the number of people who want to get that data increases exponentially. Especially when it's something like a gun registry. Luckily, federal law bars the federal government from creating a gun registry, though let's be real here. If they change their minds, they'll repeal the law in a heartbeat. It won't stop them.

The government eventually collects all the paper 4473 forms that people filled out when purchasing firearms, which are required to be KEPT AT THE INDIVIDUAL dealer's location, when the dealer goes out of business. And....of course for efficiency, ATF has been converting these "inconvenient" paper forms into a computerized database. And of course, it is ILLEGAL to have a "centralized database of gun owners".....except that the ATF has been systematically violating this law for decades, and, AFAIK, still is doing it today. Never, ever trust the government. Even if the CURRENT government and current bureaucrats follow the laws, eventually there will be bureaucrats and politicians who will break and abuse the laws. Guaranteed, 100% certain.

I always wondered about a database of people with a carry license. Will they consider that prima facie evidence of gun ownership and knock on your door one day? It could happen under Democrat rule and their future Supreme Court appointees. All those forms filed with the ATF. It's more to keep up with honest citizens for when the government wants to confiscate all firearms in the future and does nothing to deter your local thug who bought one off the street. There are also thousands and thousands swapped, inherited, traded and sold every day between individuals. It is, of course, a leftist's dream to only allow those with the right connections like them to be able to own a gun or wealthy enough to hire private, armed security.

I remember when I was just a little guy, my Dad, a WWII U.S. Marine Staff Sergeant, told me, regarding gun registration, that: "Registration is Always followed by Confiscation."

Any centralized list of gun owners in America should do nothing but scare the pants off any person, group or government that attempts to do anything with it. We like our Second Amendment and it gives us ample means to protect it.

An influential Republican on the House Intelligence Committee says the bombshell evidence disclosed this week challenging the credibility and bias of a CIA analyst who prompted the Ukraine influence scandal seven years ago is so powerful that it warrants Congress expunging the 2019 impeachment vote against President Donald Trump. "I think it is time that we expunge this impeachment and get rid of it," Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., told the Just the News, No Noise television show on Wednesday night. "...Historically, we need to show that we're going to stand up for the rule of law, for truth and justice. And this was unfairly done to President Trump."

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard on Wednesday referred the 2019 Ukraine impeachment whistleblower against Donald Trump, as well as the former intelligence community inspector general, for criminal investigation by the Justice Department, officials told Just The News. The criminal referrals were sent to the Justice Department just four days after Gabbard declassified intelligence that the CIA analyst who filed against Trump that prompted the impeachment had misled the investigators who first received his whistle-blower complaint and that then-inspector general Michael Atkinson kept evidence of the whistleblowers' bias from the impeachment proceedings.

leading Republican hoping to replace the retiring Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., who led an investigation of the House Jan. 6 Committee, ironically has an apparent social media history of criticizing President Donald Trump over the incident. Dr. John Cowan is running for Congress in Georgia’s 11th District, hoping to succeed Loudermilk, who opted against seeking another term. The neurosurgeon's website makes no mention of Trump whatsoever, but campaign materials shared with Just the News have asserted that the district “needs a proven conservative who knows what it means to have a backbone and fight alongside President Trump.”

The Democrat-led Ukraine impeachment effort of 2019 was linked to and a continuation of the Russiagate saga and of the failed effort by special counsel Robert Mueller to unearth criminality by President Donald Trump, newly-declassified documents and testimony indicate. Memos declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and released by Just the News on Sunday were written by investigators for intelligence community inspector general Michael Atkinson, who first handled the CIA analyst's complaint. Gabbard also declassified long-secret transcribed interviews from the watchdog, and these, combined with the memos, provide further evidence that the Ukraine impeachment saga was a continuation of the Russiagate saga which had flamed out.

Frequently, wise-sounding aphorisms get misattributed to Albert Einstein. Our favorite genius was genuinely wise in important ways; his later reflections on ethics, pacifism, and the danger of “compromising with the Devil” show real moral depth. But when we think of Einstein, we don’t think, “so wise.” We think, “he was brilliant,” intelligent, supergenius. Over and over, quoters upgrade any clever observation by slapping “Einstein” on it because, in today’s world, intelligence carries far more prestige than wisdom.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio helped to act as a mediator in talks between Israel and Lebanon in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday. If they get Lebanon more on board with holding Hezbollah in check, that could incapacitate another avenue of Iranian terror and an organization involved in killing at least hundreds of Americans. As Rubio said, it was about putting a "permanent end to 20 or 30 years of Hezbollah's influence," and the damage they've caused. He helped to get them to meet for the first time in decades. If they can pull that off—neutralizing Iran as a threat or even turning it from an adversary into a partner—

United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby suggested a potential merger with American Airlines during a meeting with Trump administration officials, two sources familiar with the discussion said. The conversation, which took place on February 25 at the White House during a scheduled session on the future of Dulles International Airport, has drawn new attention after Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy signaled openness to more airline industry consolidation. Duffy cautioned, however, that any deal would face tough scrutiny to ensure it would not harm competition or raise passenger fares. A combination of the two carriers would create the world’s largest airline by capacity and control nearly half the U.S. domestic market, according to industry data.

The Chinese Communist Party offered hearty congratulations to Hungary’s expected next prime minister, Péter Magyar, on Monday following his party’s sound defeat of current Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, signaling interest in maintaining the outsized influence Beijing developed during Orbán’s 16 years in power. Orbán lost to Magyar, a former member of Orbán’s party, and his Tisza Party on Sunday in a landslide, relegating his political party, Fidesz, to the opposition. Orbán last spent eight years in leadership of the opposition after losing the 2002 election and, barring some proposed term limits, under current law can have the opportunity to run again for the prime ministership in the future.

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D) on Monday signed into law a bill eliminating tax exemptions for multiple organizations connected to the Confederacy. Democrats in the Virginia House and Senate passed HB167 with vote totals of 62-35 and 21-17, respectively, earlier this year. The bill specifically removes the Virginia Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) and the Confederate Memorial Literary Society, among other similar groups, from the list of organizations exempt from state property taxes. The UDC, a nonprofit, was founded in 1894 by women “seeking to honor their family members and ancestors” who served in the Confederate military or contributed to the Southern war effort, its website states.

You may or may not recall that at the time Pablo Escobar was killed in 1993, he owned hundreds of exotic animals, including four hippopotamuses that he reportedly imported from a wildlife center in Texas, which were kept at his Hacienda Nápoles estate. Argentina President Javier Milei recently had some sharp words for the political left. But his observation is backed by more than his experience. Research makes it clear that the various strains of leftism, from today’s American Democratic Party to Democratic Socialists to green radicals to the tens of millions of voters who are attracted to progressive candidates and policies, are fueled by an emotional crisis. We beg our brothers and sisters on the left to consider why they do what they do. Milei, a defender of laissez-faire economic policy, said he once “thought being on the left was a mental problem.”
