FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. — Kevin Cichowski, an aspiring Florida governor who declared his candidacy for the Democratic primary, faced domestic violence charges on Monday. Cichowski, 46, a 2021 Palm Coast mayoral candidate, injured his 82-year-old father and his 76-year-old mother on Friday at their home in Palm Coast, according to a Flagler County Sheriff’s Office deputy’s arrest report.Cichowski struck his father on the head with a firearm that he also pointed at his mouth, ear, and groin, while he “threatened to shoot and kill him,” according to the deputy’s arrest report. His mother — who was bedridden — reported Chichowski snatched her cellphone and struck her in the head with it,

He's not going to Tallahassee. He got Baker Acted instead because he's insane. Good Democrat.

There is nothing in this article that would be unsavory for anyone running for public office on the democrat ticket. Sometimes a father and mother deserve to be beaten with a firearm--it gets their attention yet avoids actually discharging the firearm. I think Mr. Cichowski might win the nomination in the democrat primary election. Or, he might have the successfully-elected governor put him up for lodging at the taxpayer's expense.

Chuckle chuckle....there is something basically wrong with the mental activity of democrats..evidenced over and over by what they are caught doing..I'd daresay there isn't a one of them that doesn't have something hidden in the woodwork...it's just the way they are...and it spills over, because everything they touch turns to poo-poo eventually...they are called 'blue' cities and states, because the inhabitants are unhappy, unless they are liberals..but the conservatives are wising up and leaving... I'd recommend a book called 'Peoples Republic' which I just finished reading last night to see a possible outcome..sci-fi writers are so prophetic...

Hippos typically live exclusively in the wetlands, lakes, and rivers of sub-Saharan Africa... unless an infamous drug lord imported them to South America in the early 1980s, was fatally shot about a decade later, and the ones he kept as pets escaped, adapted to the region, and created their own colony. You may or may not recall that at the time Pablo Escobar was killed in 1993, he owned hundreds of exotic animals, including four hippopotamuses that he reportedly imported from a wildlife center in Texas, which were kept at his Hacienda Nápoles estate. After his death, the Colombian government deemed them impossible to seize, so they were just left there,

One of the extraordinary features of the first year of President Trump’s second term has been the attempted judicial coup by Democratic Party district court judges who have, in effect, tried to take over the operation of the Executive Branch. Rogue district judges have issued one ill-founded order after another, most of which have been reversed on appeal. Perhaps the worst offender has been James Boasberg, Chief Judge of the D.C. District Court. Judge Boasberg has been trying to hold members of the Trump administration in criminal contempt for, allegedly, disobeying one of his illegal orders. The government made a mandamus motion in the D.C. Circuit

What is worse: murder or alleged racism? The New York Times knows. A headline in the paper’s April 11 print edition read: “Trump Posts Attack Video and Denigrates Haitians.” The online version of the article was only slightly more detailed: “Trump Shares Video of Graphic Attack and Rails Against Haitians.” What was this “attack video” or, even more puzzlingly, this “graphic attack?” On April 3, a surveillance camera at a gas station convenience store in Fort Myers, Florida, filmed a burly man methodically bashing in the windows and hood of a parked car with a hammer. The audio captures the blows’ explosive force.

The Dems depantsed the repulsive Eric Swalwell over the weekend in an attack with something like the Pearl Harbor effect. It swiftly sunk Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign. We followed the depantsing, but without quite the humorous detachment of Wall Street Journal Free Expression editor Matthew Hennessey. There are several interesting angles to the story and he inflicts glancing blows on most of them. He doesn’t expressly mention the apparent knowledge of members of the press about Swalwell’s way with women. We knew about Fang Fang, okay, but we seem to have gone beyond an old-fashioned scandal into #MeToo territory. Now it’s getting serious. At the end of his column Hennessey

I have said it many times over the years: DEI, like affirmative action before it, is not just immoral. It is illegal, at least in employment and education. But for many years, the law went unenforced. That changed with the Supreme Court’s decision in the Harvard and North Carolina cases, the most important decision of recent years. The Court held that the Constitution and the Civil Rights Act mean what they say: race and sex discrimination are illegal. That decision empowered the Trump administration to take action against the discriminatory policies that have been rampant in both the corporate world and academia. Thus, the Department of Justice has just

Pope Leo XIV, the first American-born pope and a certified Chicago guy, hosted David Axelrod on Thursday, April 9, for a private meeting that has the internet fully in detective mode. But here is where it gets interesting. This low-key, closed-door sit-down happened less than 24 hours after a report claimed Trump-aligned U.S. officials pressured the Vatican’s ambassador in Washington and basically told him the American pope needs to pick a side. And suddenly, what could have been routine now feels loaded. And when you zoom out, the backstory only adds fuel to the fire.
