Vindictive, Trump-hating Judge Boasberg
gets the judicial beatdown he needed

It's always good to see out-of-control judicial activists get smacked down, especially by their own peers. Which brings us to Judge James Boasberg, who's done more than any of them to try to shut down President Trump's legitimate power to govern. He's in the donkey seat now, berated by a higher court for his 'abuse of power,' as they put it. According to the Washington Times: A federal appeals court delivered an embarrassing spanking to U.S. District Judge James Boasberg on Tuesday, ordering him to shut down his “intrusive” criminal contempt of court investigation against the Trump administration.

Another great piece by Monica Showalter! The question remains to be asked- how is it that this tyrant in a robe can take on power not given to him by Law? He is a disgrace and a willing and provocative person doing the bidding of those who want to create anarchy from order, and a fine candidate for removal from his position. How long, O Lord?

As if this Obambi Inferior Court Black Robed Insurrectionist gives a flip! Being called incompetent has no consequences. Boasberg gets to sit on his judicial throne and continue to dictate as if he is the only branch of goobernment. Nothing can stop him. And don't think his BFF Chief Jester Roberts will do anything but support him. Boasberg isn't even close to the end of his insurrectionist rulings. Now that he knows some of the pitfalls in his previous insurrectionist rulings, expect him to modify future rulings to really push the boundaries of serration of powers.

What are the odds that Boasberg ignores the ruling. So many on the left have a terrible 'Somebody stop me!' attitude because they certainly won't reign themselves in.

The federal judiciary is forcing national suicide. Either all judges must be elected to limited terms, or get rid of the federal judiciary.. State courts with elected, term limited judges can handle these cases.

This is a perfect example of why liberals should not be in positions of authority; they abuse it. From BJ Clintoon on, many dem leaders have done everything they could to undermine American government by the People. Their abuses have gotten worse over time, culminating with BO and Bidet. A significant amount of Trump's time as President has been dedicated to ripping out decades of carefully constructed efforts to weaken American Republican governance. Part of the construct of corruption is the insertion of lifetime liberal judges who have decided they don't have to follow the plainly written law. These judges are also protected from removal by an impeachment system that, for all practical purposes is useless because the enormously corrupt dems of today will never vote to remove the judicial thugs they so carefully placed in power. The only correction available is for higher courts to take the actions to shut down the worst judicial actors, something the courts are loath to do but are starting to realize that they cannot avoid. It's not enough to overturn bad rulings. When a pattern of abuse of power becomes apparent and there is no realistic resolution through impeachment, the higher courts MUST take action. The alternative might be constitutional changes that limit judicial power or legislative changes that severely impact the ability of the courts to function. That would not be a good outcome but given the judicial abuse, might be required. The courts need to prove that they can function properly or risk blowback.

Monica, respectfully, no, if he's still residing on the Bench, he hasn't. the Senate puts these clowns on the bench, and the Senate should have to remove them when they act up. The system once worked well when MEN who studied Law possessed both Honor, and Integrity, or they didn't pass. Also, we didn't EVER put foreign-born persons into the highest positions of judicial authority, as has happened so frequently today. Judge Boasberg is but one pimple on American Jurisprudence, but there are many, many more. We have a problem in bulk, and we need a bulk solution. Congress needs to come up with a method of removing en masse the various judges who have abrogated their judicial temperament through partisan rulings, failure to remain within mandatory minimum / maximum sentencing guidelines, or any number of other poor choices decided over ideological, rather than judicial norms and standards. Anyone who makes decisions without citing the U.S. Constitution should be fired. Anyone making decisions without all necessary rights being afforded the Defendant AND Prosecution should be fired. Otherwise, the citizenry's respect for American Jurisprudence will continue along its steep decline into an ever over-educated irrelevance.

Boasberg doesn’t need a spanking. He needs to be impeached and disbarred. In a world that made sense he would be. But in a world where the politically despicable and morally bankrupt Democrats protect to the death anyone useful and corrupt enough to be used (i.e. Swallwell), at least until they’re not, that’s not going to happen. Maybe Thune can break away from his lobbyist worship sessions long enough to appoint some conservative judges.

Pope Leo IV ordered the construction of the massive barrier around the year 850 A.D. to shield the city-state from invaders. It was deemed crucial to keeping invaders out. But the fortification, stout as it is, isn’t stout enough to keep the staggering and repulsive hypocrisy emanating from Pope Leo XIV in.
