An influential Republican on the House Intelligence Committee says the bombshell evidence disclosed this week challenging the credibility and bias of a CIA analyst who prompted the Ukraine influence scandal seven years ago is so powerful that it warrants Congress expunging the 2019 impeachment vote against President Donald Trump. "I think it is time that we expunge this impeachment and get rid of it," Rep. Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., told the Just the News, No Noise television show on Wednesday night. "...Historically, we need to show that we're going to stand up for the rule of law, for truth and justice. And this was unfairly done to President Trump."

"seeing the really shoddy, poor intelligence work that was being done" What is the value of an "intelligence" service that acts in a subversive manner to its own government? It seems all the intelligence services were participating, to some degree, with the effort to attack the Presidency. Also, the conventional wisdom seems to be, " Don't mess with the intelligence agencies because they will mess you up far worse.". WHY do we want such agencies within our government? They seem to be rogue agents. In addition, after 911, seeking security, we fed into strengthening these agencies and allowed them to do more damage to ourselves instead of external actors. Any "intelligence" activity should ALWAYS be facing out of the country. Any intelligence actions facing into the country should be blocked except under the most extreme circumstances. If our elected officials are acting criminally, they should be dealt with by the FBI, which should have NO intelligence footprint beyond that needed to manage criminal investigations. As to Boasberg, I doubt he will ever be impeached but have at it and do whatever else can be done to make his life miserable.

All of these intel agencies and their analysts hide behind the secrecy that they operate in/under and so they are protected - no matter what. One more thing for our useless Congress to focus on is a serious review and downsizing (number of employees and budget) and possibly elimination of some/all 16 (?) intel agencies and just how many are not needed/redundant, politicized (cough CIA), etc.

I can see it now. The petition for expungement arrives in the Chief Justice's office. John Roberts smirks as he turns to his advisor Sheldon Snook (whose wife Mary McCord was the impeachment Democrat's primary legal advisor on the 2019 Trump impeachment) for advice . . .

Well, the key point is this new report will be part of the official Congressional Record and will question all the "evidence" used by Democrats to bash against President Trump despite it being "shoddy". It would be nice if they could rescind the impeachment from the record since it should never have been allowed due to the shoddy intelligence that was twisted to fit their agenda.

The reality is that Boasberg will not ever be impeached, much less removed/ The best we can expect would be for the SC under Roberts to take away Boasberg's ability to hear cases. Turn him into a court clerk.

Republicans across the South have been gearing up for what could be the biggest political map shake-up in decades, and it all hinges on one thing: the Supreme Court's expected ruling in Louisiana v. Callais. This case will decide the constitutionality of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. It would be cliché to say that the stakes couldn't For most of the past half-century, Section 2 has required states to draw "majority-minority" districts — districts engineered to elect minority candidates, who happen to vote overwhelmingly Democrat. One of the big problems facing our country right now isn’t a partisan issue. It’s a crime. And America’s seniors are increasingly the targets. Every day, scammers—often operating through massive, international networks—are stealing the life savings of older Americans who have worked hard, played by the rules, and saved responsibly for retirement. These are not harmless scams or isolated incidents. It’s organized theft on a scale that should concern every American who believes in law and order. According to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), scammers stole as much as $81.5 billion from seniors in 2024. This is money that people were relying on for retirement —

What's the big deal about Hungary? It's a central European country with 9.5 million people — slightly less in population and area than the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. But it's been the subject of more care, attention and debate in America than any other country in Europe or the Western Hemisphere. Vice President JD Vance was in Budapest the Tuesday before Hungary's election last Sunday and, with President Donald Trump chiming in over the phone, gave 16-year incumbent Viktor Orban an endorsement in all but name. Vance praised Orban's "generous family subsidies" and decried European Union "bureaucrats in Brussels,"

Nearly eight years after the Supreme Court put a stop to public-sector labor unions imposing fees on non-members as a condition of work, invalidating 22 state laws and prompting a precipitous drop in union membership, it reinstated a permanent injunction against California's so-called gender secrecy policies in schools as a likely violation of parental rights. The high court now has an opportunity to alchemize these disparate precedents into protection for parents' constitutional rights against state labor regulators with Galactus-sized jurisdictional appetites.

Jesus’ role as the Messiah fulfilled God’s promises of redemption. “In the Bible, the Messiah is the anointed king through whom God establishes his rule over the world,” explains the Lexham Theological Wordbook. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is widely known as a liberal jurist who can reliably be expected to vote with her leftist colleagues, Justices Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, on virtually every issue, as the three mostly march in lockstep. Ketanji Brown Jackson, in particular, seems to decide cases based on her own personal opinion, not relying too much on that pesky old Constitution. But now Sotomayor can add a new adjective to her profile: “obnoxious.” The Obama-appointed jurist took the unusual step of making a personal attack on a fellow justice, Brett Kavanaugh, at an appearance at the University of Kansas School of Law on April 7.
