American and Israeli leaders excoriated the cowardly, treacherous French government for preventing American airplanes from flying through the country’s airspace with military supplies for beleaguered Israel.
As the Iranian regime continues to fire at civilian targets in Israel and other nations, and as the United States and Israel take on the world’s worst terror-sponsoring regime (Iran’s), French President Emmanuel Macron and his government are determined to be on the wrong side of history.
Donald Trump pulled no punches. “The Country of France wouldn’t let planes headed to Israel, loaded up with military supplies, fly over French territory. France has been VERY UNHELPFUL with respect to the ‘Butcher of Iran,’

One branch of my ancestry, Huguenots all, fled France after 30,000 (at least) Huguenots were murdered in Paris and surrounding towns - in one night. There went France's skilled craftsmen, tradesmen, and merchants. Then the French revolution and its bloody guillotine aftermath killed off most of the remaining intelligent (and sane) people. World War I killed off the cream of the remaining families still possessing a backbone, resulting in France's complete capitulation in WWII to Germany. with hardly a whimper. Since WWI, the French roll over and play dead at the slightest hint of danger. They are the epitome of 'possums'. They are worse than worthless as 'allies', as France will stab us in the back if it becomes momentarily beneficial to them. Scroom. And Canada is even more worthless.

It's the French! What do you expect? And while I'm at it, if it weren't for the Americans, the whole of Europe would be speaking German!

Maybe just maybe had President Trump treated France and the other major allies with a modicum of respect they might be willing to lend a hand. None were consulted before launching the attack. It is not their war. They did not break the oil transportation in the Strait. Insulting foolish Democrats and RINO’s might work in our politics but allies really don’t have to take the guff that our president dishes out. Trump is finding out that obtaining just one ally in an endeavor to take down the Mullahs is just not good enough.

Patton, when he entered Paris, paid homage to LaFayette! Our debt to France has been paid since 1945! It is past time to cut France loose from Mama US's apron strings. There is absolutely NOTHING that France has nor represents that America needs, especially their TREACHERY!

During the planning and preparation for D Day, de Gaulle was in England. Eisenhower knew not to tell de Gaulle anything about the actual Plans, because Ike knew de Gaulle would sellout the allies for a better deal from Hitler when he won the war. He was only told about the actual invasion plans the day before D Day.
So do not, Please, ever suggest that America make lethal maneuvers available to the Garbage that make up the populace of France.

We have several cooperative business / applied research projects with French companies; So cut off such agreements so that country doe not benefit from such projects. In some areas, IMHO, the direction of what is gained from such projects has been much further toward benefitting that country than anything relatively cooperative. Prioritize, then cut off; Keeps our gains in applied research more within our borders.

#5, people who act foolishly need to be called out on it. Most of Europe is already overrun with muslims to the point that they can probably take over without much of a fight. Iran recently demonstrated that their (once existing) ballistic missiles could reach anywhere in Europe and we were nice enough to take them all out.

Fine. Pour out your French wine and don't buy anymore. The same with their Cognac. Our wines are just as good and good brandy can be had from many countries. I toured the American Cemetery at Normandy. 11,000 American soldiers buried there. The French can go to hell.

Remember it was the French Government that gave refuge to Ayatollah Khomeini.
" It would of course be misleading to compare the action of the French in providing a constraint-free refuge for the Ayatollah Khomeini with the action of the Germans in the first world war in transporting Lenin in a sealed train to what was then Petrograd. Yet the fact remains that in allowing the Ayatollah to use France as a base for the decisive phase of his campaign against first the Shah and then the Bakhtiar government, the French have made an immense contribution to his cause. There is in fact no parallel to the French action in giving a political refugee all the facilities for engaging in a revolutionary campaign against a friendly government. Yet these facilities were extended with a liberal hand during the Ayatollah's four-month stay in a village on the outskirts of Paris. His telephone service between his headquarters at Neauphle-le-Chateau and Teheran and, most important of all, the holy city of Qom, never failed and his daily orders and exhortations duly recorded beforehand and then re-recorded at the other end were distributed nation-wide the next day. His disciples were free to convert a village setting into something like a national shrine and his couriers could come and go without let or hindrance. It was almost as though his 14 years of exile had already ended once he had set foot in France."

Working in the defense industry we are constantly in seminars speaking about potential enemies across the world. About securing laptops, notes, who to speak with.
While China, Russia is onthe top of the list of spying on Americans overseas, France is right up there. The French mic their Air France seats to glean any information. They are not our friends.

France, Spain, Portugal, and even Italy are all having a tantrum over the POTUS and the DoW for not "consulting" with NATO and obtaining approval prior to commencement of bombing. Of course we didn't, because we know what would occur. Our plans would have been "leaked" to the enemy, which might include NATO countries these days, and all their anti-aircraft armaments would be scanning the skies with full intensity on the hour we planned to "flick" the "pickle switch." Besides, they would "perhaps" opt to join-in on the action (doubtful, what with their large muslim populations these days) to grab some of the glory, and perhaps sell a few of their weapon systems to the Arabs.
We don't need NATO these days, and we haven't since sometime in the 1990's. They will soon rue the day they kicked Uncle Sam in the teeth.

Thank you all for your postings (except #5 Citoyen). It warms the heart to read all of the patriotic postings. The problem Citoyen has is that he's brain washed. How long do you think it would take France or the Left in this country if Trump told them ahead of time before launching the attack? Me thinks it would be a matter of hours before Tehran would know.
Pray for the protection of our troops in harm's way. They need our support, not criticism.
