Iran is ramping up its threats as negotiations to end the war appear to be faltering and a U.S. ground operation becomes more likely. Iranian state media outlet Tasnim News Agency, citing a "military source," indicated that Tehran was prepared to close the Bab al Mandeb, a critical waterway linking the Red Sea to the Arabian Sea, in the event of a U.S. ground op. “If the enemy wants to take action on land in the Iranian islands or anywhere else in our lands or to inflict costs on Iran with naval movements in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman,

They had the Houthis doing this about a year ago. Most of those folks are dead, and it seems like the remaining Houthis are not interested in playing "USN vs Houthis" again.

We broke it, we own it? How about... we are trying to put this terror-sponsoring state in a place where they can't back up threats now being made? And if all of youse wanna do is arm-chair quarterback and find fault, then maybe we oughta walk away. The juice (saving everyone's ass in the long run) not being worth the squeeze.

Airline passengers are experiencing some of the highest security wait times in the 25-year-history of the Transportation Security Administration — with some taking more than four-and-a-half hours to make it through checkpoints, a top official told Congress Wednesday. TSA acting administrator Ha Nguyen McNeill testified to the House Homeland Security Committee that her beleaguered agency is “being forced to consolidate” and “may have to close smaller airports if we do not have enough officers.” “It is a fluid, challenging and unpredictable situation. We understand this is frustrating and disruptive,” she added. “This is unacceptable.”

There are many qualities you look for in a director of the National Counterterrorism Center, but an active imagination isn’t one of them. Joe Kent, though, has shown since his high-profile resignation that he has one, and not the kind of imagination that makes for a great Elizabethan poet or a compelling noir novelist but the sort of fevered fancy that fuels the Candace Owens podcast. Kent says, apparently quite sincerely, that President Trump may have launched the war against Iran because he feels threatened from shadowy forces connected to Israel. In other words, what the combined military might of Israel and the ...

When I was about 12 or 13, I had a friend who was fun to be with. When we were in my house or hers, we’d talk endlessly about our schoolmates, our teachers, her mother’s illness, and boys, boys, boys. But whenever we went outside, she would start counting. “What are you doing?” I would ask. “Counting my steps,” she responded. “Why?” She stopped walking to answer me, so she wouldn’t lose count. “I just have to count them,” she said. “I can’t stop counting them.” At that age, I had never even heard the word obsession,

Despite the fact that funding for ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) was already set for three years, Senate Democrats insisted on shutting down funding for DHS (Department of Homeland Security), CBP (Customs and Border Protection), and TSA (Transportation Safety Administration) in an effort to geld ICE. This partial shutdown lasted over 30 days, with delays at airports reaching as long as three hours. TSA workers, unpaid for weeks, were quitting. The Democrats wanted to force the Administration to change the policies and practices of ICE.

As The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively, Dhillon’s team has been waging war on dirty voter rolls since President Trump took office. Back in December 2025, we told you how an initial review of just 47.5 million records found 260,000+ dead voters and thousands of illegals registered to vote.

The nerve of a judge to deport an illegal immigrant who held the lofty status of a staff member for the New York City Council has left New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani in high dudgeon. Rafael Andres Rubio Bohorquez, a data analyst for the council, will be deported to Venezuela. The Department of Homeland Security said Rubio overstayed his 2017 tourist visa, has an arrest for assault, and does not possess work authorization, CBS News noted. Mamdani argued his version of reality should take precedence over the law. “Today, an administrative immigration judge ordered the deportation of Rafael Rubio, a City Council employee. Russian tanker with 730,000 barrels of oil is on its way to Cuba, the communist-run island crippled by a U.S. economic blockade. The Anatoly Kolodkin tanker is expected to reach Cuba’s Matanza oil terminal on Monday, according to news reports. The Russian vessel had been among those sanctioned by the U.S. in retaliation for that country’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine. But President Donald Trump lifted sanctions on Russian oil exports a week ago to help steady world oil markets that turned volatile after the Israel- and U.S.-led attacks on Iran,

California has already sued the Trump administration at least 54 times a little more than a year into his second term. State Attorney General Rob Bonta claims the lawsuits are an effort to hold President Donald Trump accountable. But litigation goes both ways. The administration is now suing California over its zero-emission (in effect, electric) vehicle mandate. The Justice Department says that California’s ZEV mandates and its stringent standards for CO2 emissions violate federal law, which expressly prohibits states from setting their own fuel economy standards for cars, adding that the California Air Resources Board’s (CARB) mandates -

President Trump said Iran has agreed to his biggest demand in order to stop the war: no nuclear weapons. “They’ve agreed,” he said. “They will never have a nuclear weapon. They’ve agreed to that.” Tehran has not stated that publicly — and denied even talking to the US. But Trump has made clear that the no-nukes demand is necessary for the US to stop its military campaign. The president’s comments came as the US and Iran are preparing for another round of negotiations in an attempt to bring a ceasefire to the war — while also gearing for a major combat operation if talks fall apart. “We’re actually talking to the right

Kaufman County, Texas, residents became aware in early February that a potential city was going to be built in their backyard and accused local officials of being very secretive about the deal. The Daily Caller report, and locals’ allegations that the project was an unlawful attempt to establish a “sharia city,” led Attorney General Ken Paxton to announce Feb. 9 that his office launched a formal investigation. President Donald Trump’s tariffs on imported goods suffered a Supreme Court legal rebuke in late February, but they’re not doing much better in the court of public opinion. As the latest I&I/TIPP shows, a plurality of voters don’t believe the economy will get a boost from tariffs, which win strong majority support only from Republicans. It was once the case that most conservatives and many moderates rejected tariffs on imported goods as an unwanted distortion of free trade. Meanwhile, liberals embraced tariffs as a welcome tool of government “industrial policy.” But President Trump has flipped the script.

Cuba's "president," Miguel Díaz-Canel, rolled out the red carpet at a convention center, and then the group stayed in a five-star well-lit hotel. I say "well-lit' because no one else on the island has power, yet oddly this hotel and convention center do.
