‘Winning decisively’: U.S. has largely
defanged Iran’s military power despite
negative press

The Pentagon’s top leaders are confident that the Iranian regime’s military is being pulverized by American forces from the land, sea, and air, with Secretary of War Pete Hegseth declaring that “we’re winning decisively” against the revolutionary Islamic government in Iran. President Donald Trump announced at the end of February that U.S. and Israeli forces had launched a joint attack against the regime in Tehran, quickly killing Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei and soon greatly degrading the Iranian military, targeting ballistic missile sites, bombing drone production facilities, sinking naval ships, hitting the Iranian defense industrial base, and hammering strongholds run by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

During the Tet offensive in Vietnam the American military won decisively, yet the lefttist American media turned the battle and eventually the war into a loss. The next generation of anti-American media are trying to do the same thing again.

Negative press??? what an oxymoron, or just moron...I no longer believe ANYTHING the lamestream media presents...for instance the Scripps ad for the Bellosi reporter with the explosion going off behind him...he stops talking, and doesn't even duck..of course he knew it would happen and probably just be a smoke grenade, then the zombie walks behind him with a wooden case..probably supposed to be, what, ammo, explosives???

I very strongly support the attack on Iran and getting rid of the mullahs but it's pretty hard to say their military has largely been defanged when they still control the Straits of Hormuz and they just hit Israel with a missile attack. Trump is having to threaten oil facilities if Iran refuses to open the straits rather than being able to militarily control the straits ourselves. Trump needs to kick this effort up another notch.

The Democrat mouth piece can't allow Trump to have such a historic WIN. The Democrats can't let the economy do well or it be bad news for the election.

Controversy is again raging over the fate of the Salt River wild horses, protected under state law as a natural treasure, after the Arizona Department of Agriculture awarded a new management contract requiring the removal of more than half the herd — despite a state law that authorizes removals only for humane reasons related to the health and safety of individual horses. It didn't have to be this way. In 2016, Arizona Republicans did something Washington rarely manages to do. They solved a problem. When the U.S. Forest Service moved to round up and remove every one of the Salt River wild horses from the Tonto National Forest,

We’re dealing with legislative terrorists right now. The Democratic Party is too foolish, irrational, and immature to negotiate a deal on DHS funding. To be honest, they’re making compelling arguments not only for eliminating the legislative filibuster, which even I have been hesitant to do, but also for dissolving the legislature and canceling all elections until these radical progressive forces are put down like the rabid dogs they are (politically). I don’t care. Those on the Hill are comfy, connected, and uninterested in the pain they’ve inflicted on TSA agents, scores of whom have quit.

Riverside County Sheriff and California gubernatorial candidate Chad Bianco has seized more than 650,000 ballots from last November’s election as part of an investigation into potential discrepancies in the county’s vote count. The probe follows allegations from the Riverside Election Integrity Team that the county’s tally may have been inflated by more than 45,000 votes. “This investigation is simple: Physically count the ballots and compare that result with the total votes recorded,” Bianco said at a Friday press conference. He said the review will determine whether the results are accurate.

As we enter the fourth week of the Iran war (or “excursion”), here are two great ideas about how to deal with some of the consequences — both from outside the Beltway. In fact, right in New York. One idea, unusually, is from longtime President Trump critic and former swamp creature Richard Haass, now back in his hometown. The other is from Wall Street guru Larry Kudlow, Trump’s great friend and former economic advisor. Both ideas are elegantly unconventional. In his Substack last week, Haass took a moment from trashing the president to suggest an alternative to boots on the ground for the prickly problem of opening the Strait of Hormuz,

Iran responded Sunday with threats of its own, a day after President Donald Trump warned the United States will “obliterate” Iran’s power plants if Tehran fails to fully open the Strait of Hormuz in 48 hours and Iranian missiles struck two cities near Israel’s main nuclear research center, injuring dozens and shattering apartment buildings. The developments signaled the war in the Middle East, now in its fourth week, was moving in a dangerous new direction. Sirens blared across Israel as Iran launched new barrages Sunday. In the country’s south, residents faced the devastation in the cities of Dimona and Arad. In northern Israel,

Prior to the era of post-1965 mass immigration, America was not a “diverse” country by modern standards. White and black Americans averaged 87 percent and 12 percent of the population, respectively, from the founding of Jamestown until the 1970s—more than 300 years of uninterrupted demographic stability. There was some internal diversity in the white American population, though this diversity was largely dealt with by rapid integration that often took less than a generation—two generations at most. By the 1970s, when the foreign-born population was under 5 percent, America was a very cohesive nation. The “natural diversity” of the United States was found not in its inherent demography but —

President Nayib Bukele has transformed El Salvador from one of the most dangerous places in the world—a tropical hellhole with a murder rate fit for a Middle Eastern warzone—to one of the safest countries in the Americas. He did it by applying one basic principle: lock up the most violent people in society, then throw away the key. Bukele was aided by the fact that most crime in his country was committed by members of ultra-violent gangs like MS-13 and Barrio 18, who conveniently advertise their allegiance and their crimes with lurid tattoos all over their bodies.

Alongside the claim that you should love mosquitos and wasps, the Guardian’s Environment Correspondents opinion section carries three attempts to turn the Iran crisis into an opportunity for the UK’s green agenda. Environmentalism is, I have long claimed, an opportunistic infection: its adherents are unable to make a case for a perfect world on its own terms, and so their argument for a radical and urgent reorganisation of society, requiring the suspension of normal politics, must capitalise on a sense of crisis to advance their agenda. And so it is that the Grauniad’s eco-hacks rush to Ed Miliband’s rescue with some tall tales.

The critical question is whether we will stop at weakening the Iranian regime or Hamas or move toward ensuring that they can never again recover as long-term threats to their neighbors or global security. At this moment, leaving those regimes in place – the ruling mullahs in Iran or Hamas in Gaza — is probably the most dangerous option. Authoritarian regimes such as Iran's, and terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic State and the Taliban, rarely respond to setbacks by abandoning their ambitions. Instead, they pause, regroup, and rebuild. Russia and China, each with its own anti-American calculations,

Brian Christine. “If you have a set of parents and their child has gender dysphoria and there are threats to remove that child from your care, that’s absolutely wrong,” Christine told The Daily Signal in an exclusive interview. The HHS Administration for Children and Families wrote a letter to state child welfare agencies telling them that the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act prohibits them from removing children from their home because the parent doesn’t affirm the child’s gender identity.

Emergency vehicles swarmed Runway 4 at the Queens airport after a regional jet en route from Montreal struck a rescue truck responding to a separate incident just before 11:40 p.m., according to the Port Authority Police Department, the FDNY, and footage captured by the Citizen App. Images showed the front of the commuter plane smashed and tilting in the air. This is one heck of an explosive viral story. It starts with claims about low-IQ Africans and just takes off from there. It all started when an Africa-based research team decided to challenge and prove wrong a very long-standing claim in Western circles about low IQ levels in African countries. Instead of continuing to argue about it, they decided to put these claims to the test. They conducted a large-scale IQ assessment in Lagos, Nigeria, with a mixed bag of participants over the age of 16.The results were not what they wanted and are what’s going viral. As it turns out, those “Western circles” were right all along.

The Supreme Court ‘s conservative majority on Monday sounded skeptical of state laws that allow the counting of late-arriving mail ballots, a persistent target of President Donald Trump. The court heard arguments in a case from Mississippi that also could affect voters in 13 other states and the District of Columbia, which have grace periods for ballots cast by mail. An additional 15 states that have more forgiving deadlines for ballots from military and overseas voters also could be impacted. A ruling is expected by late June, early enough to govern the counting of ballots in the 2026 midterm congressional elections.
