She's trippin'. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) spent nearly $19,000 in campaign cash last year on a shrink who specializes in controversial Ketamine therapy. (snip) The expenses were marked as "leadership training and consulting." It is unclear what the sessions consisted of or who participated. Ocasio-Cortez's campaign did not respond to requests for comment. (snip) "While she describes these expenditures as 'leadership training,' Dr. Boyle has no experience in that area, unlike several Democratic consultants," Kamenar added. "This looks like yet another example of misuse of campaign contributions."

Comments:

Ketamine notoriously figured in the death of television star Matthew Perry.

FTA: While AOC and others hailed the potential of drugs like ketamine as a miracle cure for illnesses like PTSD and depression, doctors have warned it’s still a powerful hallucinogenic that carries a risk of inducing psychosis in some people. I guess the people saying for years that “liberalism is a mental disorder“ may be right, after all. It isn’t so farfetched to think drug use may be behind the craziness espoused by a large number of people in the public eye who seem to have abandoned the slightest semblance of common sense in the ideas they are pushing.

My son was overdosed on ketamine during surgery a few years ago. They gave him way too much. He said he saw his dad but his dad said it was time yet for him to go. He had a few rough months from the actual surgery and the ketamine was no help. That's wicked stuff. I can't imagine anyone taking it on purpose.

As a member of Congress, AOC has the best medical insurance our tax dollars can buy. Why does she need to misuse campaign cash for a psychiatrist, when she can use her congressional supplied health insurance? Could it be she is buying Ketamine for Ketamine sake, from an outside source, so as not to draw attention? I'm sure nobody will look into it.

Headed by (snip) the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, the investigation is building on information uncovered by House and Senate committee that was buried by the Biden administration. Bianco detailed a stunning mismatch uncovered through an audit of handwritten logs maintained by the Riverside County Registrar of Voters: county records show just 611,428 ballots cast. Yet Secretary of State Shirley Weber certified 657,322 votes to the state -- a gap neither Bonta nor Weber ever publicly questioned or explained.
