A Democrat Minnesota state lawmaker has called for a study to see if there is a "benefit of shoplifting and retail theft" while he was discussing the topic in a committee meeting on Thursday.
Democrat state Rep. Dave Pinto stated, "Yesterday, there was a presentation from a group seeking to change how we address organized retail theft,
and I actually had not occurred to me to ask, it probably would have been good, it would have been good to make sure that they would study sort of the benefit of shoplifting and of retail theft because perhaps people are relying on that and sort of using that. Maybe it's

It's impossible to parody these lunatics.
How about a study of the benefits of politicians being hanged in public?

Let's start the study by burglarizing his home.

Bless your little ol' heart. Well, Dave, if you pay me a one time seven figure amount for this study, I've got you covered. Just change the wording to unplanned donations. It's a win win for everyone! Stores can write it off their taxes as contributions. The less fortunate don't have any worries about being arrested. See how easy that is? Everyone benefits.

The only benefit to shoplifting is to the shoplifter. I used to think the Dims just spouted this garbage but didn't believe in it. This nit-witting over once common-sense laws is beyond parody. As they push each new insanity, more "conservative" voters will be minted. Every wing-nut idea is another sign of a dying political party. The Democrats will go the way of the Whigs. At least its replacement will have a better descriptor for a name; something along the lines of... "Socialists". It would be nice if they believed in at least a little truth in advertising.

Talk about pandering to the lowest common denominators in our society!
Illegal immigrants, child molesters, rapists, cop-killers, homeless, rioters, liberal white women and their simp husbands, LGBQT, and the gay mafia aren’t enough. Let’s get more of the criminal vote. The Democrat Party is now officially a crime organization.

Idiots. Every single one of them. Raise your hand if you remember Hank Johnson:
"In 2010, Johnson suggested before a House Armed Services Committee hearing that relocating Navy personnel to Guam could cause the small island to “become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize”, a claim that has since haunted his public image and is often used to discredit him. Doof.

Okay, one benefit. It keeps the ghetto rats' arms full while they are running away from a store so they can't easily pull a weapon and rob people in the streets.

Re #6. Please don't remind me about Rep. Hank Johnson . As a Georgian, we are still embarrassed that we actually sent this guy to the Congress of the United States or at least his district did. Although he has a lot of competition, he has the honor of having made perhaps the most stupid comment to come from our Congress since Reconstruction. Maybe he should have a statue erected on Atlanta's Peachtree Street.

Hank Johnson is from Georgia, but he does not represent most Georgians. He is elected by the people in his district who are just like him. It was an ignorant comment and displays his lack of intelligence and education. Every time I hear his name or see him on the various news channels I am reminded of how many dumb and uneducated people are in congress. Same as when I hear or see Alexandra Cortez or the foul mouth Talib woman.

I can answer the question right now and say the state a was of money. Shoplifting and retail theft are all theft. Only the thief gets any benefit out of it. How did this guy get elected to begin with!
