President Donald Trump on Thursday said Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin will replace Kristi Noem as Department of Homeland Security secretary. Trump made the announcement on social media Thursday afternoon saying he was "pleased to announce that the Highly Respected United States Senator from the Great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will become the United States Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS), effective March 31, 2026." It's ABC...they have to make any switching sound like someone is failing. Perhaps President Trump and Ms. Noem mutually decided this would be a good place for her. Perhaps she is tired of being screamed at by the Libs. No secretary position is forever and she is still very much in the Administration!

Replacing Noem with Mullin appears a bit risky with regard to removing a strong supporter of Trump and his policies from our Senate. Depending on Fetterman's support is also risky. Besides, Trump has already called OK Gov. Stitt, who will appoint a same-party interim senator for OK's soon-to-be-vacant Senate seat, a RINO. If Trump is correct in his assessment, he risks the appointment of a RINO to the Senate. Since Mullin was up for re-election in 2026, whoever wins in November will take over as interim senator as soon as the November election results are certified, and will start a full term in January 2027. No need for a special election. Although I like my governor, I would rather have seen Trump nominate Gregg Abbott to the DHS Secretary position. He was certainly a thorn in Biden's side as he inserted Texas DPS into border control matters throughout the Biden administration, invoking the Constitution's Article 1, Section 10, Invasion Clause. Biden won an injunction in federal district court, winning a preliminary injunction against Texas' razor wire barriers along the border. The Fifth Circuit Court panel affirmed the injunction, which was later vacated by the full Fifth Circuit Court sitting en banc. Gov. Abbott has experience in taking legal action to repel an invasion of foreigners into the U.S., as well as governing experience that is useful in na Administration position. Losing the House in this year's election will no doubt result in another Trump impeachment, as has already been signaled by leading democrats ad nauseam; losing the Senate will likely result in the president's removal.

I am disappointed that she was not given more support against the jackals in Congress, especially Tom Tillis who is just one huge rude due. A thankless job for anyone who wants to enforce the law. The DHS was foisted on numbskull G.W. Bush in the post 9-11 frenzy of paranoia. It is a mess that needs to be stripped down and culled out.

Many of you may recall all the negative posts I wrote about Ms. Gnome over the past few years. Her craven capitulation to the Despicable Joe regime about the Mount Rushmore fireworks shows - - and her even more craven submission to the NCAA about men in women's sports - - marked her as a self-serving weakling - - and I made my feelings about her well-known here. I couldn't understand why President Trump appointed her to such an important position - - so it saddens me - - fr his sake - -that he had to publicly fire her. Her teenage girl makeup, and hairdo and her big loop earrings did nothing to further endear her to me. It doesn't surprise me that she turned out to be a lying weasel. I knew it all along.

From X: LHGrey™️ First kill: Kristi Noem is yanked from DHS effective March 31, 2026. Not fired. Repurposed. Because her tenure turned embattled...code for the deep-state meat grinder chewing her up with leaks, sabotage, and half-measures that let the invasion fester while cartels laughed. Trump doesn’t do sentiment. DHS isn’t a photo-op department; it’s the kill zone where America’s throat gets slit by third-world hordes, fentanyl rivers, and gang filth. Noem fought hard, but the machine was winning. Trump sees it. Trump ends it. No drama, no mercy, just results. Enter the replacement: Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin... This isn’t a politician; this is a weapon. Trump installs a man who understands combat, loyalty, and the raw truth that the southern border is a war front, not a humanitarian project. Mullin will seal it like a tomb, hunt the MS-13 scum, crush the coyote networks, and turn “catch and release” into “catch and destroy.” This is Trump putting a goddamn apex predator in charge of the front lines while the rest of Washington plays patty-cake with invaders. Borders aren’t policy...they’re survival. Mullin gets it in his bones. And Noem? Not discarded...redeployed as Special Envoy for “The Shield of the Americas.” Trump doesn’t waste talent; he multiplies it. While Mullin turns the border into a fortress of death for illegals, Noem gets unleashed across the Western Hemisphere to forge an iron dome against Chinese footholds, communist cancer, and the migration pipelines pumping poison northward. This isn’t exile. This is expansion. Trump sees the map the cowards refuse to look at: Latin America isn’t a backyard...it’s the staging ground for the next invasion. “The Shield” is preemptive annihilation of threats before they ever reach Texas. Noem’s experience, now weaponized with diplomatic fangs. The weak will whine “chaos.” The traitors will scream “instability.” Choke on it, you spineless vermin. This is Trump’s symphony of precision violence: excise the softening, promote the killer, expand the theater of war. He knows exactly what he’s doing because he alone sees the full battlefield...border, hemisphere, deep state, all of it. These moves aren’t personnel changes. They’re death sentences for the invasion. Game over for the enemies within and without. Trump doesn’t play. He conquers. He’s carving the future out of their corpses.

Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman moved to back his Senate colleague Markwayne Mullin for the top DHS job almost immediately — earning the vicious fury of Democrats who are growing tired of his independence. New York, New York - Texas state representative James Talarico is facing renewed criticism after past remarks about immigration resurfaced online following his recent Democratic primary victory in the race for the U.S. Senate in Texas. In comments circulating on social media, Talarico compared the nation’s southern border to a “front porch,” saying it should function like a “giant welcome mat.” The statement has sparked backlash from critics who argue the remark signals support for more open immigration policies at a time when border security remains a central issue in national politics.
