President Trump cast Tucker Carlson out of his Make America Great Again movement following the conservative talking head’s loud criticism of the US and Israeli assault on Iran.
“Tucker has lost his way,” the commander-in-chief told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl on Thursday. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that.”
The comments came after Carlson recently called the strikes on Iran “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

Why in the world would The Donald EVER speak with filth like Jonathan Karl! Karl should not be allowed anywhere near the President, maybe aughta fire the head of security!

“Never pick a fight with someone who buys printing ink by the barrel.”
I may not have the quote perfect, but you get the drift. During a midterm election having your friends close, and your enemies closer, would be the operative advice to a political leader. I assume POTUS had more than sufficient justification to bomb Iran back to the Stone Age, which, for an Islamic tyranny, isn’t a far stretch of travel, but wouldn’t it be a better idea to allow Carlson an interview and allow him to ask questions and find out the whole truth? Carlson’s dad was career CIA, so you can understand his political skepticism.

Tucker bought a house in Doha. He says it's beautiful there.🫤

Tucker had an enormously popular show on Fox. When he got fired and started a podcast he had a lot of sympathetic followers. Since then he has exposed himself as an anti-Semite and surrounded himself with a bunch of weird extremists and adopted bizarre conspiracy theories. He’s the white Candace Owens. He’s divorced from the MAGA movement but still thinks he’s very important. He’s not.

The President has been much more longsuffering with Tucker’s bizarre behavior than most.
I don’t know about Tucker’s dad, but Tucker has made his opinions very clear. No need for him to be given a prime platform by the POTUS to try and elevate himself to some level of importance to attack, and disparage him to his face in front of the country and the world. PDJT was overwhelmingly elected as POTUS. Tucker is just a podcaster trying to build and maintain a following. His questions would not be of any benefit in the scope of things, imo. We know where the POTUS stands. We know where Tucker stands. His MAGA creds are dead.
I am not all that familiar with Candace Owens, but I watched Megyn Kelly on Fox back when she had a thicker facade. I always wondered at her popularity as a Conservative. It was no surprise to me when she showed her true colors in the famous debate where she attacked Trump with her unnecessarily hostile questions. She nor Tucker ever came across as conservative, to me. Wish-washy and trying to “straddle the fence” at best, leaning toward the so-called “moderate” definition, which is supposed to mean more balanced, reasonable and superior, but actually comes across as wishy-washy and trying to appease both sides, but usually siding against conservatives when it really matters. Disagreeing on elements of an issue is normal. How you go about it, and your reasoning - or lack of it - is the tell. America tried the “negotiation method” with Iran for years. PDJT tried it. It didn’t work then, or now. He is doing the right thing. Praying for complete success.

Given Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly etc., etc., I firmly believe that people don't understand completely the MAGA movement. For years, Democrats or Republicans dominated and it seemed like nothing was going anywhere. Drugs, alcohol, corruption, murder etc. were situations you could not rock the boat. We had to put up with stagnancy all around from both parties. Let me be clear, Donald Trump is not perfect which I knew all along. When he first came on the political scene, I was geared up for Ben Carson or Scott Walker. Perfection doesn't exist only with God. Given that, I applaud Donald Trump for rocking the boat. The big, stagnant boat that Congress has become whether it be Representatives or Senators. Government gets a lot of money from hard-working Americans and we have no accountability for a stagnant and bloated government.
Tucker Carlson and his like seem to enjoy the bloated and stagnant environments to garner their platform/audience. . .

Tucker, Megyn, Candace, et al - all make millions on their podcasts where they can spout off on any topic. Megyn made millions when NBC News terminated her contract so what does she care who she pisses off? Same for Tucker, Candace, et al. They are insulated from any harm that their false and bombastic comments, assertions have on individuals (see Erika Kirk) so they continue on lobbing their vocal grenades.

Tucker must have taken a massive dose of Obama Narcissism. We have to assume it's a disease, no cure!
While I'm at it, what the hell is going on with Candace Owens?

I am betting not a single person commenting here has actually read or watched to what Tucker or his guest said. I don't take my orders from anyone on what I can and can not listen to or read.
I have listened to Tucker. I don't agree with him on everything but he is not a crazy. His points are well made and researched. I personally like listening to ALL the opinions, regardless of how insane, ludicrous, or idiotic they may be. And if doing that gets me kicked out of the club, fine.
I consider myself very America First but having been lied to about no new wars, no more money for Ukraine, and holding the Democrats responsible for Jan 6th and their total abuse of the judiciary, I'm done. I am not an isolationist. I firmly believe in the Monroe Doctrine and understand why Trump has been so forceful against the Chinese incursions into the Western hemisphere. Much of what Trump has done has been to combat the very real threat that is China, I get it. But I do believe that should power rest with the people not Elites in Washington and Davos and the case for war and especially boots on the ground should be made to the people with real facts not hyperbole and tired banner waving.

The best idea President Trump had for his second term was bringing Elon Musk and his DOGE Team in to evaluate our "Ship of State" before POTUS "weighed anchor" and "got underway." What DOGE found was widespread institutional ROT and decay, overrun with RATS and corruption, as far as the eye could see. Who, among the "unwashed taxpayer masses," could have ever imagined a regime in which taxpayers (aka "slaves") were berated into working harder for less, each and every year, in order to pay into a "system" that funnels money into leftist-globalist causes through labyrinthine networks of NGOs, and other "financial devices," to enrich Democrats and their family members? In my opinion, such "professional 'civilian' oversight" needs to be institutionalized in our Federal system through legislation and/or Constitutional Amendment.
As far as I know, the Department of Defense/War has still not passed a single financial audit. The United States spends $968B annually on our military, surpassing the next eight big spenders coming in at $705B! The USA spends 137% more than the rest of the world, yet we can't account for where all that money goes? In Corporate America the CEO and Board would have to resign and face serious Federal Felony charges for such misrepresentations and misappropriations. Even with all the great work Elon Musk and DOGE did in exposing Beltway/Democrat Grift, President Trump unceremonially cut Musk loose, perhaps not the wisest move to visit upon the world's richest man.
Over the next 2.89 years, President Trump had better choose to stay home, and pay close attention to completing all he's started, at home and abroad. Plus, he needs to stop thinking about "paving a way" in national politics for any members of his family. We didn't like the "Bush Dynasty" and won't like a Trump one either.

At least Tucker received a consolation prize: Dan Crenshaw lost his primary race in Texas, which is a blessing. I voted for him during his first (successful) race, and he's turned out to be a mess. The coup de grâce: when Crenshaw stuck his leg out to try to trip a reporter while they were acending granite steps. That was shocking, and he deserved to lose. Good riddance to both of them.

I’ve noticed Tucker going sideways for a while. I don’t know the following he has, but he seems to be channeling himself to irrelevance to both the left and right. Neither can support him now.

Tucker Carlson. You lost your way because you are anti-war. Did your hatred of war also transcend to hating our president? You don't speak and say the war is evil and disgusting during a time of war and give comfort and aid to our enemies. Thought you would know better than that. As for saying you are a Christian, Tucker, have you read your bible lately? Israel is one of the good guys, not Iran/ancient Persia.

For a very interesting take on all the attempts to destroy the MAGA coalition see Insurrection Barbie on X. She makes a case that what is going on by TC and CO and Nick Fuentes is the attempt to destroy the evangelical base that has always supported Israel. They do this by calling people like me "Christian Zionists" and "Dispensationalists. " Last summer I heard Tucker belittle me because I happen to be one of those dispensationalists. It was so insulting. I couldn't listen to him anymore after that.

I quit listening to Tucker when he claimed, in all seriousness, that the scratches he received in bed mean that he was attacked by a Demon (and not caused by the dogs that were in his bed).
