State Rep. James Talarico said just that on Tuesday night — "A little bit of hope is a dangerous thing" — and he meant it as a call to action, a summons to the faithful. But the line lingers in the Texas air for a different reason. Democrats are about to invest a great deal of time, money and, yes, hope in the notion that a young state legislator from Round Rock is the man who will break a nearly four-decade winless drought for his party in the Lone Star State.
Hope can animate. It can also delude.

FTA:On issue after issue — abortion, gun control, the border, climate, LGBTQ rights, taxes — he sits comfortably on the left flank of his party.
Talarico is better suited for a dark blue state where any Democrat will win - dead or alive.

Turn out and vote Republican as if he is the real deal. Complacence is our biggest enemy.

He's real gay. Dims are trying to hide it, but anyone with the slightest gaydar knows. Once the truth is revealed, he will be biffed.

From what I've heard and read about Talarico, he claims to be a Christian but he surely has some strange beliefs if that's so. Sounds like just another far left liberal to me.

If a substantial percentage of the millions of illegal aliens the Biden Administration welcomed into Texas find a way to vote in the mid-term election, then all bets are off.

The seminary that Talarico attends is sponsored by the Presbyterian Church (USA), one of the leading liberal denominations from which many conservative congregations are fleeing. PCUSA supports all of the woke alphabet causes (LBGTQxxx…, etc.)

Talerico sounds at least as radical as Jazzmine CrockOBull. Come on Texas. You can do better.

I don't see a majority of Texans voting for this numb nuts. This is in a state where there is a picture of Jesus on the doors of restaurants. Democrats and their donors always swoon over the next Democrat pretty face. He would win in Crock-o-bull's district but I can't se him becoming a senator. Listen to what he says. He's a commie!

Talarico is the Italian word for a long, ankle-length robe.
With a name like that - - maybe Jimmy is more suited to being a corrupt leftist judge - - not that we need any more of them.

Aside from the fact Talarico is extreme left wing, he looks kind of creepy to me. Dig up some of his posts/videos and you'll figure out why this guy should never hold office. Then again, he's the consummate wackadoodle Democrat these days.

The idea is to run Talerico as a "I'm not a crazy Democrat" guy like they did Abagail Spanburger in the VA Governor Race.
I doubt he can fool a majority of Texas voters. I do worry a little bit about a Paxton-Talerico race; Paxton will win but I'm worried he will pull enough Republican votes away that the GOP can't take all 30 House seats they are expected to win in November.

He is Beto Jr.
And Demonic-Rats think he is the leader of the "blue wave" for Texas. In reality, he is a far-left-wing heretic who is so out of touch with 90% of Texans outside of Austin on politics, morality, faith, and the border!!!!!
Nobody knew much about him. But now that they are releasing videos of his speeches from the last few months, the record of no Demoni-Rat winning a state-wide election in decades is pretty secure!!!!!
