A Democrat running for office in California has reportedly called to defund the Pentagon, but her husband works for a company that built missiles the United States is believed to have used during the recent strikes on the Islamic regime in Iran.
Fatima Iqbal-Zubair is a candidate for the state’s 65th Assembly District and her husband, Fazlul Zubair, is an engineer manager for Raytheon, the New York Post reported Monday.
The United States and Israel launched a joint military operation targeting Iran on Saturday in part to ensure the regime will never have the capability to threaten the world with nuclear weapons, according to Breitbart News.

A Russian mogul who once called sex-trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell his “soulmate” was found dead in a luxury Moscow apartment Monday, according to reports — just weeks after his name surfaced in the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Umar Dzhabrailov, a Chechen businessman and former senator, was discovered lying in a pool of blood with a gunshot wound to his head at about 3 a.m., Russian outlet Kommersant reported, citing police sources who called it a suspected suicide.
Police discovered a Luger pistol lying by the 67-year-old’s body. But Dzhabrailov — who had tried to take his life in 2020 — didn’t leave a suicide note, the sources said.

You know, David's so insightful VIP post this afternoon on how Epic Fury's become a litmus test for the Left made me smile a little after watching this magnificent local CBS reporter.
He's a young guy, Vinny Martorano is. And I'll bet Austin is a hep cat kind of happenin' city to cover as a young reporter. Sadly, last night and today, he was out in the downtown covering the horrible terror attack that happened early Sunday morning.
[snip]He's just about ready to go when his cameraman hands him a phone with a message from the station bosses, telling him to cool his jets on the 'Yay, Trump' crowd coverage.

The gunman behind Austin’s possible terror-related mass shooting entered the US and cemented his legal immigration status under Democratic administrations — despite a growing criminal record.
Senegalese national Ndiaga Diagne, 53, arrived in America on March 13, 2000, on a B-2 tourist visa during the Clinton administration, a source familiar with his immigration history told The Post on Sunday.
Diagne — who killed two people and wounded 14 more during his rampage outside a Texas bar early Sunday — then became a lawful permanent resident on an IR-6 visa in June 2006 when he married a US citizen, the source said.

The gunman who killed two people and wounded 14 others at a packed Austin, Texas, bar was possibly motivated by the US attacks on Iran, sources told The Post.
The FBI is investigating the shooting as a possible ideologically motivated act of terrorism, the sources said.
The killer, who is a US citizen from Senegal, had a Quran in his car and clothing described as Islamic garb when he opened fire on Buford’s Backyard Beer Garden [snip]
The gunman has a history of arrests in Texas, and is believed to have lived in New York City from 2000 to 2008, the sources said.

The pajama party is over.
Tampa International Airport set the internet ablaze on Thursday after its official X account declared war on what it called a full-blown fashion emergency unfolding at the gate.
“We’ve seen enough. We’ve had enough. It’s time to ban pajamas at Tampa International Airport,” its post read.
After bragging about previously “banning Crocs,” the airport said they were moving on to address an “even larger crisis: Pajamas. At. The. Airport. In the middle of the day.”
“The madness stops today,” the X post read.” The movement starts now. Help Tampa International Airport become the world’s first Crocs-free AND pajama-free airport. Do your part. Say no to pajamas at TPA.”

Baltimore, Maryland’s watchdog agency is suing Democratic Mayor Brandon Scott for allegedly withholding records on potential abuse of public funds.
Scott is hampering officials’ “ability to adequately investigate complaints of fraud, financial waste, and abuse in City government,” Baltimore Inspector General Isabel Cumming’s office claimed Tuesday in local court. The lawsuit follows Scott continually barring Cumming from accessing payroll information on the Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement (MONSE), which Scott created in 2020 to reduce gun violence through community organizing, according to multiple reports.

World Economic Forum CEO and President Borge Brende said he was resigning Thursday, after an investigation was conducted into his ties to late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Brende, a former Norwegian foreign minister who became WEF president in 2017, announced his decision in a statement following the Justice Department's release of Epstein files that showed he had three business dinners with the disgraced financier and had also communicated with him via email and text, Reuters reported.
"After careful consideration, I have decided to step down as President and CEO of the World Economic Forum. My time here, spanning 8-1/2 years, has been profoundly rewarding,"

Wild video shows masked ruffians blatantly attacking a police cruiser while an officer was inside during a chaotic street takeover in Maryland.
Video and witness accounts show drivers swarming the intersection of East West Highway and Connecticut Avenue shortly after midnight Feb. 22 in Gaithersburg, Maryland, blocking traffic in all directions and performing high-speed “donuts” as onlookers stood in the roadway.
Montgomery County police said it started around 12:39 a.m., when a large caravan of vehicles tied to takeover activity was spotted heading toward the Silver Spring central business district.
Officers moved to monitor the group and closed several intersections to limit access and protect the public.
