Video shows moment missiles rained down
on Iran Supreme Leader’s compound —
as civilians laugh

A wild video shows the moment US and Israeli missiles rained down on Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s compound — while a witness laughed in apparent disbelief. The footage shows thick smoke billowing from the fortified complex, which, along with military infrastructure, was targeted in what the State Department called “Operation Epic Fury.” Upon the realization, a woman can be heard laughing, seemingly stunned at the sight. Oh my God, they hit it. They struck it. Oh my God!” the woman says. “They hit the Supreme Leader compound!” At least seven missiles struck the area around Khamenei’s fortified complex in central Tehran, with additional strikes near the presidential palace.

FTA: "The 86-year-old supreme leader was reportedly not in the compound — or in Tehran — when the strikes were launched and has since been moved to an undisclosed secure location." Apparently, not secure enough ... and somebody somewhere sure as hell disclosed it to our side. Some walls do have ears, and someone hears. No article has yet mentioned precisely where "intelligence" (either American or Israeli) located the group of forty (including Khamenei and Ahmadinejad) huddling together, and what ordnance turned them into corpses under "Barney" (rubble). Did they have time to bleat "Aloha snackbar" before the ceiling fell on them? Or had they no warning at all? Just instant black? Details will be welcome.

Reports are that Israeli intel had the location of this meeting and they decided to 'pull the trigger' on this target of opportunity with many high regime leaders all together....and they died together, apparently.

Cut off the head of the serpent. Sounds like their "Supreme Leader" has been rendered down to supreme sauce. How stupid were all these people to gather in one place so we could easily wipe them out? I hope we completely and quickly finish the clean up job but we need the opposition in the country to STEP UP!

I suspect a majority of the so-called, "Elite Republican Guard," are at this very moment ditching their green uniform for some beat-up used clothing as a means of helping them better "blend-in" with the local population. Next would be to find inconspicuous transportation out of the country to such garden spots as Yemen, Turkmenistan, or Tajikistan... and then there's always North Korea...

I suspect that a surviving member of the military will climb out of the ashes and claim the leadership role, followed by a plea to cease hostilities and sit down and talk surrender/peace. Now that the clerics are gone, the military can start dealing with the reality of the situation.

I was reading yesterday morning that Israel put out the info that they would be attacking overnight so Iran got out all their guns from their hiding places in preparation. Attack happened in daylight and Israel made the guns go BOOM! Reminds you of the Blackberries.

The Trump Administration has listed dozens of examples of Iranian terrorism aimed at American citizens and soldiers over the past nearly five decades, but a significant omission was the Iranian regime's years of collusion with the Taliban to kill U.S. troops in Afghanistan. The White House on Monday released a lengthy fact sheet titled “The Iranian Regime’s Decades of Terrorism Against American Citizens.” The Trump administration document laid out Iran’s lengthy history of targeting and attacking U.S. troops, diplomats, and citizens — including Iran’s role in the deaths of more than 600 U.S. service members during the war in Iraq —

The Trump administration has been waging war on drug cartels, and the president has pressured countries he deems responsible for illegal substances crossing the border to co-operate. The US has joined forces in Ecuador in operations against "narcoterrorists" responsible for alleged illegal drug trafficking. The military's southern command, which operates in Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean, made the announcement with little fanfare on social media. Commander Francis Donovan said: "We commend the men and women of the Ecuadorian armed forces for their unwavering commitment to this fight, demonstrating courage and resolve through continued actions against narcoterrorists in their country." Ecuador's defence ministry refused to share details of the operations.

I never thought I would say this, but this week has convinced me that the Trump Administration is possibly the first administration in decades to execute a politico-military strategy and shape events rather than just bounce, pinball-like, from one flashing light to another. Bear with me as I lay out what I think is going on, and feel free to excoriate me in the comments if you disagree. Let’s take as a starting point that the current operation against Iran is probably driven as much by China as it is by regional security concerns. Iran has a “25-Year Cooperation Program” with China,

The federal income tax is abusive. It is inconsistent with liberty. It has, as Chief Justice John Marshall noted, the power to destroy. There is nothing positive to be said about it. It cannot even raise government revenues efficiently. It’s clearly one of his goals. “As time goes by, I believe the tariffs paid for by foreign countries will, like in the past, substantially replace the modern-day system of income tax,” Trump said during his State of the Union address.
