The UK is refusing to grant permission to the US to use British bases to strike Iran, according to The Times.
US President Donald Trump’s withdrawal of support for the UK plans to give up sovereignty over the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean — which includes the key Diego Garcia airfield — stems from the British refusal, reports the UK paper.
According to the report, US plans included the use of Diego Garcia and the RAF Fairford base in England, both of which can only be used to strike if the UK government agrees. British PM Keir Starmer is concerned the Iran strike might violate international law.

We don't need them. They are too compromised because of the consequences of their immigration policies and the weakness displayed on the world stage.

Starmer is such a punk. He thinks he's big league, and can't even qualify for the little league.

Great ally. Guess Starmer is afraid of all the Muzzies they have let into their country and given a pass on abiding by the law and raping their young girls.

The UK, EU, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or Ireland -- none of them would lift a finger for the USA. They would try to elect a communist President, like they helped steal the 2020 election.

I hate to say it, but with such a socialist government running the UK, maybe it is time for the US Air Force to pull out of the air bases in the UK that the US Air Force has been using since the Second World War? The current socialist UK Government has shown that in a clinch that they could refuse to allow the US Air Force on those bases to follow the orders of the US President. Chances are the UK could then easily arrange for the current German Air Force, also called the Luftwaffe to move in, then the current UK and German Air Forces could reenact the early Second World War air battles between old Nazi German and the UK Air Forces that took place over the UK. It’s probably better to get out of the way before the current UK King no doubt will go along with the massive foreign origin Muslim immigrant population that has been allowed to silently invaded the UK, when those in accordance with Islamic ideology demand the the Islamic Star and Crescent be emblazoned on the old British flag, that is also called the Union Jack. No doubt the old UK veterans who have defended the British Isles for centuries with not be happy when that turn of events takes place.

I thought Diego-Garcia is a USA/UK jointly leased based. I hope Trump tells that idiot Starmer to go pound sand.

Britian's Starmer = Canada's Carney. They will say no, not cooperate, and oppose Trump and the US out of spite. They are not serving their countries best interests. They are feeding their inflated egos. Their egos will soon be burst and splatter across their respective countries leaving them weak shells of what they used to be.

The children practically own the parents. Pound sand, Starmer! Whoever you are. He probably asked for Trump's permission to talk tough so the Iranians or muslims don't hurt him.

No worries for Trump. That’s what aircraft carriers are for. Starmer doesn’t realize it yet but he just committed political suicide.

We only need drop a couple of more "Epstein documents" involving either him, or his political appointees, and Keir, the queer, becomes but a footnote in British history.

...Once upon a time, the brave men of The UK would stand up and fight to the death to protect their women from being raped and their children from being murdered by invading hordes ... alas, dear friends, that is no more....today's Brits firmly believe 'tis much better to lose your country...than to be called a "racist".

ok w me if Trump takes the Chagos Islands. He can give them back to the UK when they get a sane PM. He can tell the Chagossians that is the plan. they will be happy .... He can tell Mauritius it is reparations for their past in the slave trade.

Here's the ugly truth .... in the obvious not so distant future, Great Britain will be run by enough Muslims to make a big difference and they will have access to nuclear weapons! Lots of them.
Imagine a Muslim country having nuclear warheads (France too?) and telling the U.S. hands off Iran/Iraq/whoever... or we join our brothers in attacking your cities.
Picture what is happening in NYC and that Muslim mayor doesn't even have a majority yet! Now make it 50x worse.
The younger generation better wake up ... and quick ... as this will all go down on their watch.

Pull all US military assets from England. The economic hit they would take from that action alone should wake them up. Plus, the realization that they are dependent upon France for part of their security should have Starmer at the White House crying like a little girl.

Amen to all the posters this morning. England. How the mighty have fallen. Our grandparents wouldn't recognize the UK today. And they would probably say, "why did we fight for them and go and shed our blood in WWII for this to be the result."

My late father once told me that when he and his fellow American soldiers walked off of their troop ship at Southampton in 1942, the British women on the dock said to them, “What took you so long?”
Wow! How have things have changed in 84 years.
Heroic British World War II veterans such as the late David Niven, the late Patrick MacNee and the late Ian Carmichael must be turning over in their graves. 🇬🇧🇺🇸🙄
