Starmer not giving the US permission to
use Diego Garcia base to strike Iran — report

Original Article

The UK is refusing to grant permission to the US to use British bases to strike Iran, according to The Times. US President Donald Trump’s withdrawal of support for the UK plans to give up sovereignty over the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean — which includes the key Diego Garcia airfield — stems from the British refusal, reports the UK paper. According to the report, US plans included the use of Diego Garcia and the RAF Fairford base in England, both of which can only be used to strike if the UK government agrees. British PM Keir Starmer is concerned the Iran strike might violate international law.

I hate to say it, but with such a socialist government running the UK, maybe it is time for the US Air Force to pull out of the air bases in the UK that the US Air Force has been using since the Second World War? The current socialist UK Government has shown that in a clinch that they could refuse to allow the US Air Force on those bases to follow the orders of the US President. Chances are the UK could then easily arrange for the current German Air Force, also called the Luftwaffe to move in, then the current UK and German Air Forces could reenact the early Second World War air battles between old Nazi German and the UK Air Forces that took place over the UK. It’s probably better to get out of the way before the current UK King no doubt will go along with the massive foreign origin Muslim immigrant population that has been allowed to silently invaded the UK, when those in accordance with Islamic ideology demand the the Islamic Star and Crescent be emblazoned on the old British flag, that is also called the Union Jack. No doubt the old UK veterans who have defended the British Isles for centuries with not be happy when that turn of events takes place.

He rightly notes that "limited" strikes are exactly the wrong way to go, which is why I believe these reports are basically disinformation, meant to suggest that massive strikes are not imminent. The rational order of battle should be the opposite. First, take out the anti-aircraft and radar systems in Iran with stealth bombers and fighters, and immediately after start going after the launchers on a massive first wave. In a 6-3 Friday, the Supreme Court blocked President Donald Trump’s imposition of reciprocal tariffs, which the president had successfully used to raise much-needed government revenue and level the playing field with countries charging exorbitant tariffs on U.S. goods. The decision upheld rulings by lower courts declaring Trump’s use of a presidential emergency power provision to unilaterally impose the tariffs unconstitutional. The ruling invalidating Trump’s tariffs immediately sparked extravagant conjecture and commentary about the implications of the decision. “It is important to be clear about what the Supreme Court’s decision on IEEPA does — and does not — do,” Rep. Don’t worry: Friday’s Supreme Court decision limiting some of President Donald Trump’s tariff powers won’t derail his larger, vital project of rebalancing US trade relations, boosting US industry and safeguarding US supply chains — nor should it. Yes, he’ll need to find other ways (more permanent and legally airtight) to pursue those goals, but the high court’s ruling against his across-the-board tariffs illegal also made it clear he has many such tools at his disposal — including other tariff powers. Even many of his allies warned that imposing import duties under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act was legally dubious;
