Virginia judge granted the Republican National Committee a temporary restraining order that halts Virginia Democrats’ gerrymandering efforts to redraw the state’s congressional districts ahead of the upcoming midterms.
The Republican National Committee brought a lawsuit Wednesday to stop what the organization describes as an unconstitutional last-minute power grab by Virginia Democrats. Filing a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction, the RNC asked the court to block the implementation of the proposed constitutional amendment. According to local media, Tazewell County Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. granted the RNC motion on Thursday.

Forlesia Cook, a grandmother who lost her grandson to violence, delivered a brief and powerful testimonial supporting President Trump. Many naysayers, beyond just the DHS security issues, would be well-served to listen to her advice.
Mrs Cook spoke during a Black History Month reception at the White House, pushing back on claims that President Trump is racist. As noted by this passionate grandma, President Trump gave her a voice when others ignored her.
Cook’s 22-year-old grandson, Marty William McMillan Jr., was brutally murdered in cold blood in 2017 after meeting someone online. He left home to meet a woman he connected with on the Plenty of Fish dating app.

Every few months, another viral outrage story explodes across social media, and the script is almost always the same.A shocking claim, a “racist” angle, followed by a flood of headlines, a GoFundMe that fills up overnight, and before anyone has time to sort out what actually happened, the accused is already branded for life.
The facts usually catch up later, and we discover the whole thing was a hoax. But the damage to the victim is already done.

Few have had as profound an effect on modern scientific understanding as Sir Isaac Newton.
Many people are familiar with the story of how a falling apple first inspired Newton to investigate the force that would come to be known as gravity, and as he later concluded in his seminal scientific treatise, “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy,” it is this same force that pulls a fruit to ground that keeps the planets in orbit.
While Newton undoubtedly possessed a keen sense of observation and an insatiable curiosity that enabled him to make some of the most influential mathematical and scientific discoveries in recorded history, his prolific notes and writings—especially the vast

The director of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is becoming the new acting director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, the NIH head, will also serve as acting CDC director, a Trump administration official told The Epoch Times on Feb. 18. Bhattacharya, 58, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. He was approved by the Senate as the NIH director in early 2025 in a 53–47 party-line vote.
Jim O'Neill, who had been serving as the acting CDC director in addition to his Senate-confirmed role of deputy health secretary, departed the administration on Feb. 13. The reason for O'Neill’s exit, and Bhattacharya’s expanded responsibilities, has not been provided.

CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin has never been one to show good judgement. When he’s not getting caught conducting “personal business” on a staff Zoom call, he’s accidentally admitting that there’s an ongoing leftist-led judicial coup designed to stymie President Trump’s agenda.
The serial self-pleasurer let the proverbial cat out of the bag in his Monday opinion column for The New York Times. Titled, “The Plan for a Radically Different Supreme Court Is Here,” the article purports to roll out a blueprint for countering conservative appointments of originalist judges to the bench but inadvertently discloses the existence of leftists’ efforts to weaponize the judicial system against Trump.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A mistrial has been declared on the first day of the historic first federal Antifa terrorism trial after a woke lawyer for one of the defendants engaged in misconduct.
U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman halted the jury selection process after noticing that MarQuetta Clayton, a BLM-activist attorney for one of the defendants, was wearing a politically-charged t-shirt with images of Martin Luther King, Jr. and messaging about civil rights.
Judge Pittman found her clothing could prejudice jurors. His ruling came on the first day of jury selection in Fort Worth, weeks after nine federal defendants were indicted on charges stemming from a July 4, 2025

While the government of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney has inked a trade agreement with China to accept cheap imported vehicles in exchange for Beijing purchasing some agricultural products, President Trump has promised those cheap Chinese EVs will never cross the border into the USA.
The Canadian polling on the issue has done a remarkable chang in the past few years. Now, the majority of Canadians are willing to purchase cheap Chinese EVs. As outlined by Bloomberg, “More than half of Canadians, or 53%, say that knowing an EV was made in China would have no effect on their purchasing decision, according to a new poll by Nanos Research Group

I don’t want to bury the lede, so I’ll stay up front that yes, content creator Andrew Sullivan is still alive because blogging ultimately did not kill him. But just as important, he is a Trump supporter, even if, as with most things related to politics, he doesn’t know it.
Recall Sullivan as a pioneer of online writing in the aughts and also as the middle-aged white man who choked up on national television while referring to President Obama as a “father figure.” Sullivan now writes on Substack (snip) and he was recently the featured guest on Mark Halperin’s Next Up podcast diagnosing the ails of the Democrat Party.

For years now, the left has treated mass migration as this moral, beautiful thing. And if you questioned it, that meant you were some heartless, xenophobic, or stuck in some outdated nationalist fantasy loop. Borders were sold as cruel, enforcement (ICE) was framed as oppression, and “diversity is our strength” wasn’t just a slogan; it was a cult
Now suddenly, two of the most powerful Dems in modern politics are singing a very different tune.(snip)
When Hillary Clinton says mass migration has been destabilizing and went too far, and Barack Obama says we are a nation of laws with borders that must be orderly and fair, that is a direct slap

Dr. Oz, the Administrator at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), has been laser-focused on combatting Medicaid waste, fraud, and abuse. Over the past month, he has travelled to Minnesota and California to highlight egregious home health and hospice schemes. One often overlooked scheme is the abuse of intergovernmental transfers (IGTs). CMS should put a stop to how states use IGTs to favor government-operated providers at patients’ and taxpayers’ expense.
Congress created Medicaid to help America’s most vulnerable access health and long-term care services. Both the federal government and the state were always meant to share financing responsibility. But states have long taken advantage of the federal government’s open-ended

Through the years I didn’t really have much of an opinion of Steve Bannon, I approached any story of interest that surrounded him by simply looking at the factual details of the current event in question.
CTH well understood that Bannon, and subsequently his expressed opinion and objective, was simply an outcome of his position – downstream from the billionaire of the moment who paid him.
.(snip)
That said, with the release of the Epstein files, the relationship between Steve Bannon and Jeffrey Epstein is something CTH did not expect. {HERE} Bannon and Epstein were very close and talked to each other about seemingly everything.
