Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson says that she decides all cases by asking one question: Is it in the best interest of the American people? That is a political question, not a legal one. I will forgive Trump for employing the same improper reasoning because he is not a lawyer, much less a judge.

Sometimes politicians accidentally say their innermost thoughts out loud. It is rarely smart. But sometimes it is strategic. It sends a signal to their voters: elect us, and we will crush MAGA. Honestly, that kind of message often lands harder than any polished campaign speech ever could.A new clip catching fire online features former Obama national security adviser Susan Rice laying out what sounds exactly like that… it’s clearly a threat, a promise, and a warning shot. She’s vowing to take down any corporations or institutions that she thinks “took a knee to Trump.” (snip) This is coming from a political movement that constantly lectures everybody about unity

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas challenged an interpretation made by Justice Neil Gorsuch as the two conservatives landed on opposite sides of a major decision on President Donald Trump’s tariff authority. (snip)Gorsuch discussed two early congressional debates in his concurring opinion to show rejections of expanding presidential power in early U.S. history.(snip)Thomas disagreed with Gorsuch’s interpretation of early history, writing, “Justice Gorsuch’s interpretation of two 'early congressional debates,’... is thus difficult to reconcile with what early Congresses actually did.” He continued: “Since the 1790s, Congress has consistently delegated to the President power over foreign commerce, including the power to impose duties on imports."

Virginia judge granted the Republican National Committee a temporary restraining order that halts Virginia Democrats’ gerrymandering efforts to redraw the state’s congressional districts ahead of the upcoming midterms. The Republican National Committee brought a lawsuit Wednesday to stop what the organization describes as an unconstitutional last-minute power grab by Virginia Democrats. Filing a motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction, the RNC asked the court to block the implementation of the proposed constitutional amendment. According to local media, Tazewell County Circuit Court Judge Jack Hurley Jr. granted the RNC motion on Thursday.

Forlesia Cook, a grandmother who lost her grandson to violence, delivered a brief and powerful testimonial supporting President Trump. Many naysayers, beyond just the DHS security issues, would be well-served to listen to her advice. Mrs Cook spoke during a Black History Month reception at the White House, pushing back on claims that President Trump is racist. As noted by this passionate grandma, President Trump gave her a voice when others ignored her. Cook’s 22-year-old grandson, Marty William McMillan Jr., was brutally murdered in cold blood in 2017 after meeting someone online. He left home to meet a woman he connected with on the Plenty of Fish dating app.

Every few months, another viral outrage story explodes across social media, and the script is almost always the same.A shocking claim, a “racist” angle, followed by a flood of headlines, a GoFundMe that fills up overnight, and before anyone has time to sort out what actually happened, the accused is already branded for life. The facts usually catch up later, and we discover the whole thing was a hoax. But the damage to the victim is already done.

Few have had as profound an effect on modern scientific understanding as Sir Isaac Newton. Many people are familiar with the story of how a falling apple first inspired Newton to investigate the force that would come to be known as gravity, and as he later concluded in his seminal scientific treatise, “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy,” it is this same force that pulls a fruit to ground that keeps the planets in orbit. While Newton undoubtedly possessed a keen sense of observation and an insatiable curiosity that enabled him to make some of the most influential mathematical and scientific discoveries in recorded history, his prolific notes and writings—especially the vast

He was approved by the Senate as the NIH director in early 2025 in a 53–47 party-line vote.Jim O'Neill, who had been serving as the acting CDC director in addition to his Senate-confirmed role of deputy health secretary, departed the administration on Feb. 13. CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin has never been one to show good judgement. When he’s not getting caught conducting “personal business” on a staff Zoom call, he’s accidentally admitting that there’s an ongoing leftist-led judicial coup designed to stymie President Trump’s agenda. The serial self-pleasurer let the proverbial cat out of the bag in his Monday opinion column for The New York Times. Titled, “The Plan for a Radically Different Supreme Court Is Here,” the article purports to roll out a blueprint for countering conservative appointments of originalist judges to the bench but inadvertently discloses the existence of leftists’ efforts to weaponize the judicial system against Trump.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A mistrial has been declared on the first day of the historic first federal Antifa terrorism trial after a woke lawyer for one of the defendants engaged in misconduct. U.S. District Judge Mark Pittman halted the jury selection process after noticing that MarQuetta Clayton, a BLM-activist attorney for one of the defendants, was wearing a politically-charged t-shirt with images of Martin Luther King, Jr. and messaging about civil rights. Democrat Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker will push for state laws that mandate Illinois communities allow building of unlimited “Section 8” and other taxpayer-subsidized apartment units on any residential lot. Pritzker unveiled his suburban Section 8 plan during his annual State of the State address, which he gave Wednesday. Taking aim at single family homeowners in the Chicago suburbs, Pritkzer said their “shameful” opposition to taxpayer-subsidized Section 8 apartments are responsible for driving up the cost of Illinois housing. Community zoning laws “have made it too difficult and costly to build new (Section 8) housing,” Pritzker said, chiding suburban Illinoisans who oppose high-density, subsidized apartments as old-fashioned and behind the “times.”

The UK is refusing to grant permission to the US to use British bases to strike Iran, according to The Times. US President Donald Trump’s withdrawal of support for the UK plans to give up sovereignty over the Chagos Islands in the Indian Ocean — which includes the key Diego Garcia airfield — stems from the British refusal, reports the UK paper. According to the report, US plans included the use of Diego Garcia and the RAF Fairford base in England, both of which can only be used to strike if the UK government agrees. British PM Keir Starmer is concerned the Iran strike might violate international law.

After weeks of waiting, the Supreme Court ruled against the Trump administration in a decision addressing whether President Trump had authority to impose sweeping tariffs without congressional approval. At the heart of the issue was whether President Trump had such authority under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), a law that allows presidents to take economic actions during a national emergency and to impose broad tariffs without Congress passing tariff laws. In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that President Trump exceeded his authority

If convicted on the misconduct charge, the former prince faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. One officer was seen carrying a police-issued laptop after arriving at Sandringham at around 8 a.m., with the cars leaving around 30 minutes later. Kamala Harris is topping some new polls of Democratic White House contenders, a sign the former vice president and 2024 presidential nominee has staying power despite her defeat to President Trump. It’s a reality that flies in the face of some of the talk after that race, in which Democrats talked about turning the page, with some calling for the party to move on from a stale playbook and to look for new leaders. It all underscores the paradox Democrats are facing in their rebuilding efforts: Which parts of their messaging and leadership do they want to overhaul, and what

We’ve seen the 2016 anti-Trump rallies, the 2020 George Floyd riots, and the ongoing anti-ICE protests in blue cities since President Trump started trying to clean up the illegal immigration disaster left by former President Joe Biden. There’s been one constant: Antifa. The group, whose name is short for anti-fascist, is known for their menacing black outfits, complete with masks, and their often violent behavior. They show up as if by magic the moment a demonstration breaks out, and they’re not there to keep the peace. But where does their funding come from? Who’s behind it?
