Pritzker: I’ll require Section 8 Housing
in every Illinois suburb

Democrat Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker will push for state laws that mandate Illinois communities allow building of unlimited “Section 8” and other taxpayer-subsidized apartment units on any residential lot. Pritzker unveiled his suburban Section 8 plan during his annual State of the State address, which he gave Wednesday. Taking aim at single family homeowners in the Chicago suburbs, Pritkzer said their “shameful” opposition to taxpayer-subsidized Section 8 apartments are responsible for driving up the cost of Illinois housing. Community zoning laws “have made it too difficult and costly to build new (Section 8) housing,” Pritzker said, chiding suburban Illinoisans who oppose high-density, subsidized apartments as old-fashioned and behind the “times.”

A big part of the American dream is to earn enough or save enough to not have to live near those types. Communists always hate the American dream.

Yeah, right. Let’s see how many section 8s are built in Winnetka, Lake Forest, and Burr Ridge. But it would serve those ultra-wealthy democrats right to bring the jungle culture to the North Shore and DuPage county.

Before Obama, you could pay more and move into a nicer neighborhood. After Obama, you still can move to a nicer neighborhood, but so can the people your are moving away from -- and you have to not only pay for your new home, but half their mortgage or rent. Nice!

"Somebody" needs to buy the houses on either side of Prtizkers home, and the one across the street, tear down whatever is there, build the max number of Sec8 units possible on those lots, have one filled Illegal Migrants under "Sanctuary", one filled with former institutionalized Mental Health patients, and one filled with released Criminals from his court systems, OH...and do away with the parking space requirements, letting everyone park on the streets, or in neighboring drives, make sure there is also a dedicated bus route that stops there every hour....around the clock..Might as well add a wind turbine on each site, OH! and have the buildings designed by the same guy who designed the Obama Library.

Says Pritzker from his guarded, gated estate with plenty of land and parking nowhere near Section 8 housing. Why doesn't Pritzker mandate that Chicago's Gold Coast high rises must have 25% of the apartments/condos set aside for Section 8 housing also. If course, if Illinois got rid of Sanctuary State/City status and wasn't sheltering so many illegals, the housing market would free up and new Section 8 housing in wealthy and middle class areas wouldn't be necessary.

FTA: "Taking aim at single family homeowners in the Chicago suburbs, Pritkzer said their “shameful” opposition to taxpayer-subsidized Section 8 apartments are responsible for driving up the cost of Illinois housing." There are rewards to working your tail off in order to live in the suburbs. I think it's "shameful" an obese braggart born into wealth is scolding middle American homeowners because they want to keep the quality of life they worked so hard to earn. Biden had a similar plan, but was voted out of office before he could sic federal bureaucrats on suburban homeowners all over the US. Dems welcomed millions of impoverished, unvetted and ungrateful illegal aliens to our soil, and paid for their housing with our money. Corrupt politicians have been screaming about a "housing shortage" for years, yet Pritzker would have us believe he didn't know that 10 to 20 million new arrivals would impact housing for Americans. He lies so easily. Why do his constituents vote for him, when he neither likes nor respects them? He's a budding dictator eager to destroy the quality of life for citizens in order to benefit non-citizens.

Same here in the rural and nearby counties where I live in Virginia. Although Gov Spunkberger hasn't weighed in on this topic yet. Lots of very wealthy people (like the late Bunny Mellon) living on huge estates: hundreds to thousands of acres. One of the most important issues to black people in polling of what issues are important to the 'community' is that of gun ownership. This is because before the 'Popo' get there after a 911 call the perpetrators will likely have caused harm to that person, that person's family, or property that needs to be protected. Not all who live in Section 8 housing are thugs, but often those clusters are home to some unsavory types of person who commit crime or are many times involved in illicit drug trade which does not value human life-- only money.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Dozens of pro-Palestinian protestors walked free Tuesday, after having their charges dropped following their arrests in May. (The Center Square) – Several U.S. oil and corn industry lobby groups are suing the Biden Administration over its plans to slash planet-warming tailpipe emissions from cars and trucks. The coalition argues the regulations will cause economic harm. Dave Loos, Illinois Corn Growers Association director of Biofuels, says higher octane fuels could be a solution. The EPA finalized new rules for models of semi-trucks, buses and other heavy-duty vehicles released from 2027 to 2032 in a bid to cut greenhouse gas emissions. Loos said another requirement that up to 56% of all car sales be electric between 2030 and 2032 is unrealistic.
