Disgraced ex-Prince Andrew was arrested Thursday on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly forwarding confidential trade documents to pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.
At least six unmarked police cars and around eight plain-clothed officers swooped on the king’s brother’s Sandringham Estate in eastern England early Thursday — Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s 66th birthday.
If convicted on the misconduct charge, the former prince faces a maximum sentence of life in prison. One officer was seen carrying a police-issued laptop after arriving at Sandringham at around 8 a.m., with the cars leaving around 30 minutes later.
Police also searched a separate property in Berkshire, the force said, without directly identifying the king’s brother, citing strict UK laws.

It would be nice if I could find the article hidden in all the mindless advertising. If it says NY Post, don't go beyond the intro.

#3, Adblockers have been around for decades. Just install one. You'll be amazed at how much easier it is to use websites.

3,2,1 before the left starts screaming Trump needs to be arrested too. Of course they will remain silent about Bill and Hillary.

Strict UK laws my rear. Are those the ones which say notifying the press first before an arrest is OK in the UK?

It's about time. We've known Andrew was a visitor to Epstein Island years ago.

I do feel for the daughters. They have dealt with so many indignities brought upon them by their parents, and now this.
They seem like quiet, nice, normal people raising their families in as much privacy as possible. Being a Princess isn't necessarily a fairytale.

#1 and #3 I highly recommend paying the $69/year fee for no advertising. I have done it for years and my morning visit to lucianne is stressless. There have been times when a glitch gave me the advertising and I agree how could anyone try to read the news with the advertising, but my problem is always fixed in a timely manner. Article is also at NBC news, MSN, Axios and USA Today. And many more.

And are the police going after the teen trollops who enjoyed the money and “glamor,” old enough to know exactly what they were doing, hardly victims? How about their parents? Where were they when their darling daughters were frolicking in the Caribbean? These people should be prosecuted just like the prince. If the prince is guilty, they are equally guilty. The trollops and the prince deserved each other for their foolishness.

The rich elite of the world must be incredibly bored and unhappy. Their lives must be empty and meaningless; otherwise, why throw it all away doing secret, illegal deals, chasing Epstein with his young girls, and practicing Satanism, etc.? Andrew was literally a "Prince", living a life of luxury and wealth beyond the dreams of 99.999% of humans who've ever lived. But he threw it away. For, what?

Oh, well. As they say, "Nobody is above the law." And if they are finally pounded into it, years and years later, they occasionally actually enforce the laws against the rich and powerful. Occasionally.

A shot across the bow of white, native Brits who already face prison for "offensive" social media posts.
If a royal can be arrested, you will submit. OK, ex-royal but still a remarkable show of force.

My, that was some expensive 'enjoyment'!........ IF it ever even happened!
I deliberately never followed all this squabble, but as I understand it Andrew said any untoward activity with an underage female never happened, but the story was such tabloid-juice that no-one bothered to listen to him.

Guilty or not of dabbling with underage girls, he will be tarred forever because he visited Epstein's island love nest. So will lots of others. The Dems cried "release the files" thinking that there might be something scurrilous in them about Trump and/or noted Republican figures. A 'coverup' they claimed. Well, they got their wish and are not liking what's in them.

Don't let that tip get out #4 or they will find some way around it. I realize a few ads are necessary to pay for content. The internet is not free. A popup or two is understandable but some sites seem to now be covering the whole page without a way to click off it. I also don't go to that site anymore once they start making you look at it for clicks.

Forwarding confidential trade documents to Jeffrey Epstein--not his only association with JE--got the man formerly known as Prince nabbed on his birthday. After royalty is subtracted, what is left? He did not look like a happy fellow, and probably belongs on suicide watch. His life is just beginning to totally suck.
The article mentions that Andrew Mountbatten is still eighth in line for the British throne. Hmmm, that reminds us English majors of Gloucester's immortal soliloquy in Bill Shakespeare's The Third part of King Henry the Sixth, Act 3, Scene 2, lines 140-211, before he becomes the evil Richard III. The monster emerges from his volcano, in iambic pentameter: one of my favorite passages in all of literature. Here's the beginning of it.
Ay, Edward will use women honourably.
Would he were wasted, marrow, bones and all,
That from his loins no hopeful branch may spring,
To cross me from the golden time I look for!
And yet, between my soul's desire and me--
The lustful Edward's title buried--
Is Clarence, Henry, and his son young Edward,
And all the unlook'd for issue of their bodies,
To take their rooms, ere I can place myself:
A cold premeditation for my purpose.
I'm not saying that Andrew had ever considered bumping off Family Windsor so he could get on top--ahem, to the top--but maybe he's changing his mind. Mum and brother Charles Phillip Arthur George treated him poorly. Maybe the poetic thing to do is to become hump-backed, silver-tongued, family-killing Richard. (I couldn't resist.) My kingdom for a horse!
