Behold the Violence Inherent in the System

I have a hard time resisting Monty Python references these days, which is why I used one of the more famous lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail as my headline, despite the fact that it only sorta fits my essay. Monty Python caught the absurdity of modern leftist ideology well before most people did, with its famous scenes like this one: (X) Not to mention "Loretta," which predicted the alphabet movement long before it burst out into the mainstream, and again linked it to the Anarcho-Marxist line of thinking.

Sadly, there seems to be only one solution: Give them what they wish for, in self-defense of course, until they're gone.

The only good thing about this movement is that they seem to be stuck on knives....perhaps because they like lopping off body parts. If they stick to knives, it would be better...but the ultra violent trans crazies always go to guns. Beware the trans people, they are planning on killing you.

I am calling for a complete and total shutdown of all Super Bowl halftime shows until we can figure out what the hell is going on. Moreover, I am calling for President Trump to appoint a bipartisan commission of inquiry chaired by Bugs Bunny, with full subpoena power over Bad Bunny, Good Bunny, and Okay Bunny. Also Roger Goodell, who I am renaming Roger Badell. I vote for next year’s halftime show to be Bugs Bunny and Weird Al Yankovic. Just be sure to check everyone’s ID before they vote.

"A million here, a million there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money," Sen. Everett Dirksen is supposed to have said more than 50 years ago, and if you do that 370 times, according to California Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton, you might have enough to cover the Golden State taxpayer dollars diverted into Democrat "voter machines." The details get a little technical — money laundering isn't supposed to be easy to follow, after all — so I'll break down Hilton's allegations as quickly and cleanly as possible before we get to the big picture. According to Hilton’s unofficial CAL DOGE, after California voters approved the Prop. 64 Cannabis Tax

Climate alarmist Michael Mann was for quite a few years the go-to “climate scientist” in the left-wing press. But the Associated Press’s sub silentio deletion of Mann from its story on the Trump administration’s revocation of the Obama administration’s CO2 endangerment finding suggests that Mann may have lost that status. The Associated Press is, of course, on the Democratic Party’s team on this issue. They are wrong, but that isn’t the point here. The AP’s story is titled “Trump set to gut U.S. climate change policy and environmental regulations: White House official.” It begins: The Trump administration is expected this week to revoke a scientific finding that long has been

You had to figure that Disney's live(ish)-action Snow White reboot would lose money, but even my eyes watered when I read this morning that the oft-derided musical lost about $170 million. But get this, had Disney not produced the movie in the U.K. — and received a reported $65 million (!!!) in tax credits — then Snow White would have lost the Mouse House a jaw-dropping $235 million... ...and entered the Hollywood Hall of Shame as one of the 10 biggest money-losing movie of all time, somewhere between Disney's 2012 stinker, John Carter, and Peter Berg's Battleship from the same year. I could go over all the reasons

A horrible tragedy occurred yesterday in Canada when a killer, later identified as a “trans identifying woman,” shot nine people to death and injured 27 others, before turning the gun on himself. The Canadian establishment has been desperate to hide the truth about the shooter, but this was not a secret the establishment could sit on. The shooting took place at the Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in tiny Tumbler Ridge, a remote rural community in British Columbia. The killer began by murdering two people at a home, then headed for the secondary school (grades 7-12), where he opened fire. Six people died on school grounds, and one died en route

Today must be my day for trashing Pravda. Already, I have trashed Peggy Noonan's lament for the Washington Post, and contrasted her fantastical idea of what the media's relationship to truth is with the fact that the Post lionizes Adam Schiff as a model Democrat who is trying to save democracy. Noonan writes for The Wall Street Journal, so I trashed it. The Washington Post is the "gold standard" for political coverage, and I trashed them. So next, I need to trash the New York Times to complete a trifecta. Jamelle Bouie gives me that opportunity, as it happens. He is a columnist for the Times and has been called

Global warming morphed into climate change so that liberals could complain about any inconvenient weather and blame it on free enterprise. Thus, we have the absurd situation where liberals claim that “climate change” causes both excessive heat and excessive cold, whichever happens to be occurring at the moment. This makes no sense. Saying that climate change causes warmer (or colder) weather is circular. It is like saying that my weight change caused me to get heavier. Blaming both heat and cold on climate change is like saying that my weight change caused me to get both heavier and lighter, at different times. In any event, it isn’t true. Both extreme heat

As we’ve reported, the Washington Post has laid off hundreds of staff as their years of gaslighting, serving as a mouthpiece for the Democrat party, and acting as an outlet for progressive fanaticism have finally caught up to them and bitten them in the tuchus. Lying, performative theatrics, and endless virtue signaling have a way of coming back at you in the modern age, especially when you have platforms like RedState and X bringing you the truth. As if to prove their point that they are anti-American propagandists, the outlet penned a love letter for a familiar figure as they feted his toxic past efforts to

It's a question that I had not put too much thought into until recently, but in light of the revelations over the past year from DOGE, the current fraud investigations in Minnesota, Oregon, Maine, and California (and I hope that will soon expand to all 50 states), it really has struck me that a huge proportion of our economy is probably just money laudering. Of course, we all understood at some vague level that there had to be a large amount of money laundering going on. The illegal drug trade alone is worth hundreds of billions of dollars, and that is just one portion of a large black market.

We saw how some deranged, sick leftists celebrated the murder of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk after his brutal assassination in September 2025. One of the worst of the lot was UCLA DEI chief Jonathan Perkins, and he just found out that his demented views are too much for even the administrators of that woke institution. He has no regard for the sanctity of human life, but evidently, we’re supposed to cry over his pets: UCLA finally fired its DEI chief months after the woke administrator publicly celebrated the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk —

It happened again. Another Democratic politician posed for a photo while attempting to cook meat on a grill. This time it was Gov. Abigail Spanberger (D., Va.) who tried to look normal by grilling a substance some claim was intended to represent "beef." The governor posted a photo of herself on X along with the caption "Order up!" and a steak emoji. Many remarked upon the hideous appearance of the alleged meat, as well as the deranged grin on Spanberger's face—the manic visage of an overmedicated wine mom about to mow down a rival's goldendoodle with her luxury SUV. It was a disastrous grill-related performance from the Democrats, but

Pennsylvania’s former education secretary, Khalid Mumin, “said cursive instruction is not vital for public classrooms,” according to Penn Live Patriot-News.

The West Village shop — an apparent nod to Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s government-run grocery store pitch — drew more than 400 New Yorkers, who lined up hours ahead of the 2 p.m. opening, eager to fill blue tote bags with no-cost produce, nonperishables and toiletries. “Times are hard.

On Thursday, he issued a follow-up to his December 22, 2025, order commanding the Trump administration to facilitate the return of those Tren de Aragua members who were removed from the U.S. in March and sent to El Salvador so that they can contest that removal. This one spells out what Boasberg expects the administration to do to remedy the situation. To review that December ruling, Boasberg, after determining that he has jurisdiction over the matter, ordered the administration to facilitate the plaintiffs' return to the U.S. to provide them "a meaningful opportunity" to contest their designation as TdA members and the proclamation’s validity.

Rady Children’s Health must continue providing the care, which includes therapies like puberty-blockers and hormone treatments, to patients under 19 until at least March 10, in a ruling from San Diego Superior Court Judge Matthew Braner Wednesday. The decision comes amid a heated legal fight between the hospital and the California Attorney General’s Office. The AJ sued Rady after it announced it would stop offering the treatments and procedures.

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was ridiculed on social media Thursday after he proposed providing small businesses “feeling the effects” of President Trump’s immigration crackdown with a $10 million “relief package.” Walz’s proposal would provide forgivable loans ranging from $2,500 to $25,000 to Minnesota businesses that can “demonstrate substantial revenue loss during specified dates” tied to Operation Metro Surge, according to the Democratic governor’s office. Critics of the plan quickly pointed out that the North Star State has been plagued with fraud scandals which President Trump claims have cost taxpayers more than $19 billion – and that Walz’s proposal would invite more theft.

Senate Dems were not the only ones eagar to make an appearance at the yearly conference, though, and there's a simple reason for that. In its report, CNN describes the European gathering as a regular pit stop for "politicians to test the foreign policy waters and elevate their own profiles on the international stage ahead of White House runs."
