AOC is identified as a moron, which may be giving the former barmaid too much credit. Unfortunately, on the political left, we never see any intellectual rigor. FTA: David Marcus concludes: “The scary thing about today’s progressives is that, unlike in the past, it has no intellectual wing, because its intellectuals study gender and anti colonialism instead of political science or economics. It’s literally just give poor people wealthier people’s money.” That's true.

"How Dumb Must the Press Be to Promote AOC?" Well, they are all part of the same club and they all know the secret handshake. The press, for the most part, are as dumb as she is. They are being knocked off for the same reasons she is under attack, they are dogmatic propagandists with not the wit to make a convincing effort of it. 300 of them were just sloughed off the WaaPoo which indicates they weren't worth hanging onto. RIFs target the marginal performers. The reality that a big block was in the "climate" clic says that "Climate" was a marginal performer as well and not worth the effort. THAT is big news. You might also note that while AOC is covered by media, her and her Squad are no longer treated as royalty ascendant. Media covers them because they have to write about something and the Leftist pickings are getting very thin. The problem is, every time that media decides to turn their "positive" spotlight on a Leftist, that person shortly is exposed as another fool/crook and they flameout. It doesn't bode well for a Leftist to be brought front and center because most of them are useless idiots, which, given focus, becomes obvious. The object lesson is Kamalalala and Tim the Knucklehead. The media keeps thrashing around looking for a competent Leftist like Diogenes trying to find an honest man; which was ultimately a futile effort. Everytime the media tries and fails, it discredits both the exposed idiot and the media itself. The obvious outcome speaks for itself.

Inviting Marco Rubio and AOC to discuss foreign policy at the same forum did not have the outcome they were hoping for. AOC was outmatched and obviously way over her head. Her biggest contribution was to showcase the complete lack of knowledge or understanding she has of the world. The idea that this halfwit thinks she should be President should alarm the rest of the world. The contrast was striking.

Wow, now that the HHS database is on the net, with a 30% bounty on detected fraud, any smart teenager can become rich by just mining the data and pointing out some of the $1,000,000,000,000 fraud. So, the BOUNTY available is $300,000.000,000....or $300 billion dollars. Said another way, 1,000 teenaged computer geeks could each earn $300 million if they do a bit of work. Even if it gets spread very thinly over 100,000 bounty collectors...they'd average getting $3 million each. Heck of a summer project for smart computer folks.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez showed in Munich this week, no doubt trying to fluff her "foreign policy credentials" for a potential 2028 presidential run. If you know anything about the socialist congresswoman, it went about as well as you'd expect. Putting aside the shallowness of American politics, which apparently counts simply saying stuff at a security conference as real-world experience, Ocasio-Cortez clearly had a plan. She'd show up, riff a bit about billionaires, and claim democracy is under threat around the globe. It was supposed to be easy, but you know what they say about plans. (X) That wasn't the worst of it, though. During one session, the congresswoman

Hillary Clinton, a former all-star American leader, took the stage in Munich expecting a stroll on familiar ground. The setting felt friendly, the crowd leaned globalist, and the talking points seemed well-rehearsed. Then a Czech politician, calmly stepping outside the approved script, asked a question that didn't flatter the room. It was as if a thousand voices in the Force suddenly vanished; the room's temperature changed. Czech Deputy Prime Minister Petr Macinka challenged prevailing narratives on sovereignty, migration, and Western leadership. He spoke; he didn't shout. He didn't posture, he simply disagreed. Clinton's composure tightened as her facial expression stiffened.

Over the weekend, we got a nostalgic glimpse of what could have been had Hillary Clinton defeated President Donald Trump back in 2016. My colleagues Stephen Kruiser and David Manney both captured a uniquely "Hillary moment" that happened over the weekend. Here's how David described Clinton’s panel discussion appearance at the Munich Security Conference: Hillary Clinton, a former all-star American leader, took the stage in Munich expecting a stroll on familiar ground. The setting felt friendly, the crowd leaned globalist, and the talking points seemed well-rehearsed. Then a Czech politician, calmly stepping outside the approved script, asked a question that didn't flatter the room. It was as if a thousand voices

The disclosures from the Epstein files have been enlightening to say the least, particularly if you wonder if you are seeing what you think you're seeing. More to the point, do you remember that 2023 lawsuit against candidate Donald Trump from E. Jean Carroll? That’s the one where Carroll, who is now 82 years old, waited all these years and, after two of Trump’s presidential races and one term as president, decided to sue the billionaire on allegations of defamation, rape, and sexual abuse. The case was mostly based on unsubstantiated accusations that Trump sexually abused and raped Carroll in 1996, 23 years earlier.

Team Trump and other Republicans decided to use Valentine's Day as an excuse to have a lighthearted time of things on social media, with simple parodies of classic holiday greeting cards to complex videos with policy messaging included within their love letter-esque form. We'll start with the least engaging posts first, as well-meaning and good-natured in spirit as they might be. Republicans on the House Oversight Committee reminded everyone with their missive for the holiday that former President Joe Biden (or someone at the White House acting on his behalf) used that autopen a little too often:

Former Secretary of State and twice-filed presidential candidate headlined a panel at the Munich Security Conference Saturday called “Girls Just Want to Have Fundamental Rights: Fighting the Global Pushback.” After railing against supposed “anti-gender” and "anti-rights” movements that threaten females, Clinton turned the microphone over to her second guest — the first "female" one — openly transgender lawmaker Rep. Sarah McBride (DE-at-large). Clinton said McBride is someone who tried "to explain and truly bring people together around issues of gender.” “She’s a gender rights champion,” the one-time First Lady proclaimed. McBride wasted no time in blasting the United States for its supposed war on transgenders:

"What are you doing? You should probably go do your job where your job lives." These are only some of the actual words a boorish, self-entitled woke woman told a deputy sheriff while interrogating him about why he was sitting in his car outside of a school in Thurston County, Wash. We have every right to ask questions of law enforcement, but this woman's moment of "bravery" instead outside of Seven Oaks Elementary School looked studied and mean. What she actually

Yes, you read that right. Chuck Schumer wants the pride flag to have the same status as Old Glory and the flags honoring those who served and sacrificed for this country. AOC’s performance suggests she is not quite ready for the world stage. When asked directly by Bloomberg TV’s Francine Lacqua, “Would and should the U.S. actually commit U.S. troops to defend Taiwan if China were to move?,” the congresswoman gave a halting, word-salad response filled with pregnant pauses and qualifiers to avoid a clear yes or no answer.
