TMZ's Halftime Show Poll Isn't Going the

Well, Bad Bunny ended up not wearing a dress during yesterday's Super Bowl halftime show. We have to wonder if Roger Goodell or someone in the NFL put the kibosh on that plan, especially after Goodell said the program wouldn't be political. President Trump slammed the show as "terrible" and "one of the worst." Meanwhile, the TPUSA alternative show attracted tens of millions of views so far. TMZ put up a poll last night asking which show was better, and it's not going well for them.(snip) "Estimates show that over 20 million watched the alternative halftime show. That's a huge chunk of the captive audience walking away,"

It will be interesting to see if this affects things financially. At one time, certain events guaranteed the price of the ads after the number of viewers was confirmed. Fewer viewers meant that the advertisers had to pay less. I was in the newspaper business, and our audited circulation set our advertising rates, so there was no refund involved, but if we made a mistake in the first issue, we ran what we called a 'make-good'. A second, corrected ad at no cost. Just curious. The SB may have had extra viewers at halftime just because they wanted to see what all the controversy was about.

I did not watch the SB game, or the halftime show. But I have read enough about the halftime show to make me sick to my stomach and ashamed before our God and Creator that the content of that pornographic filth was allowed on American television at any time, much less during one of the most watched American television events. I will not post the lyrics that I read about “Bad Bunny” singing amidst graphic sexual gestures and simulated sex. Suffice to say that it should have been shut down, and would have been shut down if sang in English. (Haven’t broadcasting companies refused to broadcast the POTUS and others at times simply because they disagreed with them?) Congressman Randy Fine (FL) called on the FCC to take action, including fines and broadcast license reviews against the NFL, NBC and Bad Bunny. I fervently hope and pray there are enough decent people in places of power who will use that power to take proper action against what happened, and to prevent it from ever happening again. If they get away with doing this in Spanish, there is little doubt it will be repeated in English, and not only during a Super Bowl halftime production. I, for one, don’t think “fines and broadcast license reviews” is enough. Those people knew what they were doing. If they didn’t, they should have known. I’m sick of seeing our country being destroyed from within and right before our eyes with people in positions to lawfully stop it acting as though nothing can be done, or taking such weak actions that they amount to nothing. I just have to say additionally that I am appalled and so very disappointed to have read a comment on a thread here at this site actually defending the “artist”. There are no excuses for that kind of behavior. Supporting it, or remaining silent when it happens allows evil to succeed. God bless the coach of the Seahawks and the members of his team who gave praise to God for their blessings. It is the only good thing I have read about that event so far.

I started watching the Bad Bunny half time show but stopped paying attention after about a minute. My biggest thought was: how are the people in the stadium seeing any of the show through all of that sugar cane? This is stupid. It was a made for TV show. If the felt the need for all Spanish, why not have captions so people have some idea of what was being said. While they might claim it was aa celebration of Hispanic culture, to me it seems more like an explosion of Hispanic stereotypes sett to bad music.

They say the field rat was speaking a Spanish dialect that most Spanish speakers couldn't understand. Even AI couldn't provide a solid transcription, so no one (maybe other PRs) could understand what trash he was actually spewing. They went by the published words to his "songs," and he's pretty vulgar. One of the congress critters is calling for an FCC investigation, and one of the things they are looking at is the performance delivered in a language most Americans could not understand as well as the dancing debauchery. Today I'm not so jaded, so I hope it happens and NBC or whoever gets a big ole fat fine or two in the multi millions. The NFL needs to pay up as well.

This was two separate events. The people who tuned in to watch Bad Bunny weren’t interested in the game. The people who wanted to watch the game don’t even know who Bad Bunny is. And TPUSA ruined his gig. He can’t compete with Kid Rock.

Back around 1990, shortly after Michael Jackson paid 25 million dollars to a dentist and his little boy - for child molesting- the NFL put Michael Jackson into a super bowl half time show, where Jackson cuddled and gyrated with little dozens of little children. (*Jackson paid the 25 million dollars only after the boy testified that he could identify unique markings on Jackson's penis, and the judge ordered photos.)Senator Charles Goodell, father of the NFL commissioner, was a good and decent man. His son is not, in my opinion.

For the life of me, I can't understand why people are surprised by the SB halftime show. When was the last time the halftime show was worth watching? We knew months ago this obscure person with a stupid name was going to perform at halftime. Did anyone really expect something worth watching? Did anyone really expect the NFL to pick someone that the majority of Americans wanted to see? I don't usually spend that much time watching the SB, and I can't remember the last time I bothered to see even a portion of the halftime show. To me all the hype is just irritating. It's a stupid football game. Is my life going to be better off no matter who's playing or who wins?

I didn't watch any of this nonsense.... I was reading the news, and turned on the last few minutes of the SB just out of casual curiosity. (I used to be a Washington Redskins fan when I lived in northern Virginia in the late '70's, when Sonny Jurgenson and Billy Kilmer were the quarterbacks, and the QUARTERBACKS -not some 'offensive coordinator' watching a video feed from an overhead-mounted TV camera- CALLED THE PLAYS!) Regarding the repeated and regular presentation of Filth as entertainment at the SB halftime show, I wonder.... -Leftist Perverts infiltrated and took over the Disney company many years ago. -Disney owns ABC (a,k,a, the AllBarackChannel) and its leftist-spewing 'ABCNews' program. -ABC owns a majority of ESPN. -I believe ESPN has a large influence on the NFL via it's TV network. Follow the Money. Are the leftist Disney Perverts influencing -or dictating- the SB halftime show content? Anyone who knows how the SB halftime show performers are selected, please chip in!

Are demographics really destiny? The 19th-century philosopher Auguste Comte, credited with the aphorism, emphasized that population trends are the most reliable predictors of a country's long-term trajectory. Comte actually said "demography" was destiny, which makes more sense, but the idea that a nation's future can be predicted by figuring out where people are moving is still a solid theory.[snip] there's a lot more to demographics than race or gender. There's the very real and consequential fact of people "voting with their feet." As it stands now, those votes are shifting massively toward red states.
