Florida Republican Sen. Rick Scott told "The Charlie Kirk Show" on Thursday that Senate Republicans are going to pass the SAVE Act to mandate voter ID and verification of citizenship to register to vote, and if Democrats want to stop it, they'll have to do a talking filibuster. "The concept that you don’t have to show your ID to vote is foreign," Scott said. "We're going to get this done. The president is on board. He knows we have to use the talking filibuster to get his agenda done."[snip] This is a very important piece of legislation that’s going to save this country," Scott said.

We all know the 1001 activities that require a photo ID. And not one of them is accused of being racist because such ID is asked for. So to the black community I ask "Why do the dems think you have such a low iq you cannot get a photo ID?" "And why doesn't that tick you off?" Actually they are using you as an excuse so they can CYA all the illegal aliens. It's not really about you because they know you probably already have an approved ID so you can participate in those 1001 activities. But they hold you out as the victim once again but to actually represent incognito the illegals.

The Senate should dump the requirement for 60 votes to even vote on final passage of a bill and return to the old rules. The Senate actually accomplishes less now than it did in the old "talking filibuster" days.

About GD time! It -never- should have been ok to not have an ID. Next, is revoking the illegal alien driver's licenses and other fake IDs issued by American hating states. Revoke their federal funding as long as they're doing that.

And in the end, as they always do on voter ID, the Commiecrats will prevail. Without vote fraud, they cannot survive. And their survival instinct is 1000 times stronger than their loyalty to the USA.

Only registered voters should be allowed to vote and unless they are on their death bed they should vote ate the polls on election day, not the day before or a week before but the day before, and we should know who the winner is the next morning.

What makes anyone think that the very same Blue jurisdictions (thank you, spell-check) that ignore federal laws involving illegal immigrants will follow laws about enforcing voter ID unless they're forced at gunpoint?

Among the people running to fill the seat vacated by former GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of her former staffers, Jim Tully. Introducing himself on a local conservative radio show in January, he didn’t mention his connection to Greene until asked by the host.(snip)There’s a clear pattern in how the Republicans running to replace Greene address her resignation and her split with President Donald Trump. Those who are better known due to their prior involvement with local GOP politics strike a balance between showing loyalty to Trump and respect to Greene, while newcomers have less hesitation about taking shots at her.

Are demographics really destiny? The 19th-century philosopher Auguste Comte, credited with the aphorism, emphasized that population trends are the most reliable predictors of a country's long-term trajectory. Comte actually said "demography" was destiny, which makes more sense, but the idea that a nation's future can be predicted by figuring out where people are moving is still a solid theory.[snip] there's a lot more to demographics than race or gender. There's the very real and consequential fact of people "voting with their feet." As it stands now, those votes are shifting massively toward red states.
