The uproar over the Trump video tells you more about the left’s narrative machine than it does about what actually happened. What they want you to see is “Trump posts racist monkey video about the Obamas.” What they do not want you to see is context, intent, or basic honesty about how the clip ended up on his Truth Social feed in the first place. Let’s get something out of the way: the post should never have been made, and whoever was responsible was careless for not previewing the entire video first.
The original post from Trump’s Truth Social account was about voter fraud and election integrity, not about the Obamas.

Yeah, it was a stupid, out of context, meaningless "oops".
The problem is, the Left is desperate. While most of the mud they sling is blowing back in their own faces, with a critical election coming up, missteps like this distract from all the good things that are getting done.
The election will be decided by the people in the mushy middle. These people will not make their decisions on principles or well thought out policies. They will vote on their reaction to the latest thing that flickered across their emotional awareness. While they are now aware that Trump is not the monster the Left has tried to make him, they STILL think he has a "mean streak" that the Left has perpetrated. They just "don't like" his personality. When queried about it, they can't logically define why, it's just a lingering feeling.
So Trump, unfairly, is judged for even the smallest missteps that the Left can misrepresent. Should he have to play a perfect game to win? No. But it's going to need to be just about perfect because he can't afford to give the Left any wedges they can use as distractions. Keeping control of Congress is just too important to risk.

Ir was OK to draw George W, Bush as a silly, stupid monkey for his entire presidency ?? I don't remember anyone complaining about that.

Whoever is responsible for generating these Presidential messages, along with their boss, should be excoriated for failing to actually watch their own “Tweets” before posting them.

Besides, the Trump staffer who did this violated the most sacrosanct rule of Political Theater, specifically that only "white conservative" can be publicly ridiculed, parodied, be joked about, or have their bloody head, in effigy, held up by their hair in an, "act of comedy."
Decapitated head in effigy = "OK"
Meme parody of Barack & Moochelle as Lion King Cartoon apes = "Institutional racism! National emergency! Impeach #47!"

Trump's coarseness driven by ego costs him so much support. It is easy for his opposition to convince people that he is unfit and criminal because of his unecessary puerile comments on everything and everybody. I recall the Dixie Chicks - " just shut up and sing!" and pretty much daily wish DJT would "just shut up and govern!"

(another "besides" follows)
Besides, if the left didn't believe with all their souls in "Darwinian Evolution," the state-religion of Communism, then depicting "people of color" as ape" wouldn't be nearly so "hurtful" to them.

I'll be honest. I haven't seen the video and do not intend to review it. I don't care if some black person is offended. Everything offends them whether it is meant to or not. They can scream racist to anyone for whatever reason just to shut down that person, especially if you're white. We went from black Americans wanting equals rights and respect/dignity as a man or woman to Snoop Dog, Ice-T, and Joe Biden calling half the nation domestic terrorists simply because we voted for Trump.

Americans should be pictured as lemmings dressed in donkey suits rushing off a cliff. Yes, trumps staffer that uploaded this video should have taken the few minutes to delete the ending. (though if he had I would not have had the very deep laugh session) Trump was asked and he explained that he thought the end reel tasteless and inflammatory, the beginning he thought very needed and informative, so he had it removed. So many think any president gets an hour to scroll his feeds with all the current news events demanding his attention?

My, those rascally staffers! How gracious of President Trump to provide his Truth Social media site owner's log-in information to a "staffer." Perhaps it was the same "staffer" who convinced the president that our Constitution, which Trump twice swore to uphold, assigned to the Chief Executive the authority to lay and collect tariffs, despite the plain language that perhaps during the Constitutional Convention in 1787(a bona fide Big Deal), a James Madison "staffer" maliciously placed in Article I (duties and powers reserved for the Legislative Branch) instead of Article II (duties and powers reserved for the Executive Branch), where the Framers, who collectively used "staffers," like Jacob Shallus, Assistant Clerk of the Pennsylvania Assembly, who took the final draft and actually penned the document that is our original Constitution, presumably intended for it to be.

We live in the era of media influencers. The problem is all media influencers lie. This is a perfect example.
It's easy to influence dumb people. The challenge for influencers is to influence intelligent people. How does one influence intelligent people. The influencers play to people's prejudices and biases. People don't question something that they already believe. They pull out the dog-eared race card yet again. Lots of intelligent people fall for that.
Beware of social media influencers. They lie. When this story first came out, I walked right by it. I know garbage when I see it. This is garbage.
