Last week, we published an analysis of President Donald Trump’s affordability speech by guest contributor Bob Maistros, who used his decades of communications, political, and speechwriting experience to argue that the speech missed the mark. Bob’s piece got picked up by some other conservative blogs, which resulted in a flurry of negative comments on our sites and others. Comments along the lines of: “You are simply a hater as well as absolutely wrong. President Trump, on the other hand is absolutely correct. MAGA all day every day.” “Really? We’re talking about ‘tone’? That’s the bailiwick of unserious people. Y’know, like Obama.”

“Intersectionality” is the mother’s milk of the anti-American, anti-capitalist and anti-Western ideologues who have been ramping up their violence this year. But few Americans are focusing on this threat — just look at the sparse coverage of the recently indicted Turtle Island Liberation Front. On Tuesday, a bombshell grand-jury indictment alleged that the group plotted to use “weapons of mass destruction” to “completely pulverize” tech companies and other targets. That means we’d better start paying attention — because intersectionality fuels the coalition of leftists, anarchists and Islamists intent on tearing down our country.

The State Department is barring five “egregious” European figures in the “global censorship-industrial complex” from entering the US, it revealed Tuesday. State Department officials contended that those five Europeans flouted a visa policy rolled out in May restricting those who work to censor protected speech in the US from entering the country. “For far too long, ideologues in Europe have led organized efforts to coerce American platforms to punish American viewpoints they oppose,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared Tuesday.

Even more surprising than the blockbuster 4.3% economic growth rate recorded in the third quarter of 2025 was the fact that some 90% of the nation’s professional economists got it all wrong. These economic whiz-kids’ faulty forecast comes on the heels of their predictions last week that inflation was going to be above 3%. Instead, the actual number was 2.7%. Welcome to the gang that can’t shoot straight. Maybe it’s time for this cadre of Keynesian economists to send their PhDs back to the Ivy League schools they got them from, and just admit they have no idea what they’re talking about.

Brown University placed its campus police chief on administrative leave Monday as it undergoes a comprehensive review of its security protocols and response to the Dec. 13 shooting that left two students dead and nine injured. The school’s president, Christina Paxton, announced several actions in an email to the Brown University community Monday night, including an “After-Action Review” of the shooting, which will entail “a complete assessment and evaluation of campus safety in the period leading up to the tragedy, the preparedness and response on the date of the shooting, and the emergency management response in the aftermath.”

Michigan’s “disastrous” ranked-choice voting drive is dead — for now. And Wolverine State election-integrity warriors can take a bow for killing it. Organizers of Rank MI Vote, the group behind a campaign to bring the alternative voting system that liberals love to the purple state, is “pausing signature gathering efforts,” Bridgemi.com reported. The petition drive was a long way from reaching the 446,198 signatures needed to bring a RCV constitutional amendment question to the November 2026 ballot. “We were sensing the RCV folks were losing momentum,” Darlene Hennessy, a Wayne County volunteer who led Michigan Fair Elections Institute’s opposition movement, said in an MFEI post.

The piece was supposed to be about the treatment of illegal aliens in the CECOT prison in El Salvador. 60 Minutes correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi complained in an email that leaked out to the public that it was more of a "political call" than an editorial decision to kill the story. Immigration & Sexual Violence – Nothing to See Here! Britain is now the sort of country where you can get an instant answer to ‘What is the carbon footprint of a sausage roll?’. Yet if you ask, ‘Are we importing risk to women along with importing people?’ our nation state stares at its shoes and starts muttering about ‘complexity’. Let us begin with two official lines that any half-awake citizen can see are rising at the same time. Line one, sexual violence. The ONS crime bulletin for the year ending June 2025 reports 211,225 sexual offences recorded by the police in England and Wales are up 9% from the previous year.

Millions of people from around the world have ignored that irritating asylum requirement that you apply at the first country you reach and have come all the way over here to America in a quest to quench their yearning for being free (as well as their yearning to turn our country into the same kind of garbage hellhole they allegedly fled from, but that’s another column).

Washington — The Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected a bid by the Trump administration to deploy National Guard members to the Chicago area while a legal challenge moves forward, delivering a setback to President Trump in his effort to use federalized troops in Illinois to ensure enforcement of federal immigration laws. The Trump administration had urged the Supreme Court to allow the extraordinary move to deploy the troops over the objection of Illinois' Democratic governor, arguing that federal courts cannot second-guess
