Brown University placed its campus police chief on administrative leave Monday as it undergoes a comprehensive review of its security protocols and response to the Dec. 13 shooting that left two students dead and nine injured.
The school’s president, Christina Paxton, announced several actions in an email to the Brown University community Monday night, including an “After-Action Review” of the shooting, which will entail “a complete assessment and evaluation of campus safety in the period leading up to the tragedy, the preparedness and response on the date of the shooting, and the emergency management response in the aftermath.”

Scapegoat? I don't believe he was totally responsible for the things that were wrong at Brown. They have to be terrified thattheeir massive endowment fund could be wiped out with lawsuits. The cost of far left DEI.

The police chief has instantly become a non-person. No name mentioned.

From a RI source:
Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Education also announced Monday that it will conduct its own review of Brown’s security practices, with the feds interested in the university’s potential violations of the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, which allows universities compliant with security standards to receive financial aid money.
The Corporation of Brown University, the governing committee of the school, will approve the “external organizations” who will ultimately carry out an After-Action Review and a separate Comprehensive Campus Safety and Security Assessment,” Paxson wrote.

The University of Utah Department of Public Safety disclosed the circumstances surrounding Chatman’s departure in a December 18, 2020, post, stating that Chatman had been hired on February 17, 2020, without possessing all of the certifications required to hold the position.
The university said Chatman was given one year to obtain those credentials but failed to do so."

Either Brown difn't do its homework on this guy or he was hired anyway.
Brown U is in a wworld of hurt. More interested in protecting activist protestors'anonymity than the safety of its students.

Perhaps the city of Providence should also remove their clueless mayor and the Medellin, Columbia native police Chief Perez who either doesn’t understand what his job requires or doesn’t care.

Wait for it...social justice warriors are planning a huge protest at Brown U.
The school had the audacity to punish a privileged AA police chief. The "raaaycist" chants are not far behind.
