On Wednesday, the U.S. Supreme Court declined to block a lower court order authorizing a trans-identifying South Carolina student to use the school bathroom of her choice.
In an unsigned order, the high court rejected an emergency request from South Carolina to stay a temporary order by the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals. That ruling, as described by left-wing SCOTUSblog, “requires a South Carolina school district to allow a transgender student to use the boys’ bathroom while the teen’s challenge to a state law that requires students to use the bathrooms that correspond to their biological sex” continues to make its way through the courts.

Maybe a bunch of men should stand around the Supreme Court's women's bathroom and when one of the female Supreme Court judges goes to use it, they should all claim they're women and use it at the same time.
Let these liberal judges see what it's like to have their personal space violated. Whey they experience the "discomfort" maybe they'll change their attitude.

Leave little baggies of dump and dribble in the hallways of the school. Don't use the bathrooms. Easy peasy.

Looks like this is a female trying to use the boys' bathroom. Gee, what could go wrong there? Probably something that could result in a "big bucks" lawsuit against the school.

If some students identify as adults, can they use the teachers' lounge?

Have a one user toilet set up close to where the other bathrooms are? They can use that one since they are unsure of whom they actually are. Or maybe a port-a-potty in school colors with cheerleader pictures painted on it. The opposite sex should not have to be uncomfortable in their use of a school bathroom. Let THEM be inconvenienced not the kids just trying to get through their classes as normal students.

John Roberts led SCOTUS issues an unsigned decision on this gross decision. Absolutely pure Roberts and pure unadulterated cowardice. Roberts, another loser we are stuck with. YO, Johnny! You got two daughters I believe. How would you feel about them sharing a bathroom with a seriously unhinged mental case guy, claiming to be a girl? You are pathetic and another beautiful real girl, will be victimized because of your sick cowardice. Get out and get a real job.

Fine - then give them your home addresses and unlocked doors so whenever they feel the need to do their business where they don't feel they are being excluded from their right to their "preferred" bathrooms! PS - the Left has something on Roberts, possibly something about having adopted Irish children illegally (according to rumors).

Will the individual be using the urinals? That would be a humorous but messy example of the revenge of natural law on judicial power.

I have to believe that anyone favoring this sort of Law must be a Paedophile or have strong urges in that direction... Roberts has never, ever produced an image of anything more than such!

Somehow the phrase 'Epstein Island Platinum Loyalty Card' comes to mind. Can't imagine why. When this fake boy gets pregnant, who pays for the abortion? The school? SCOTUS?

They should have to get 100% approval from all REAL, biological female students and faculty's permission. An anonymous vote is also needed, being that democrats seem to approve assignation of those they disagree with.

What I keep seeing in more than one of these shootings is an effort by the media to erase any information that might show that anyone involved might have anything to do with the trans movement; whether we are talking about a manifesto that seems to disappear for a period of time or forever, or even the introduction of the word "transhuman" into the whole conversation. I wonder if there a whole lot of money and power behind the transmovement?

There is another case "working its way up" that will ultimately define how the nation handles this situation. That will be the final decision. To me, the final decision is deciding how we handle these lower courts who are all about making new laws.

Is it me---or is the court system playing...one for you and one for me...this is ridiculous....a boy/man does NOT belong in any girl's or woman's facility....and the Supreme Court knows that...I like poster #1 idea...let's have some men go into a woman's facility at the Supreme Court and see how the female judges feel...maybe they need to feel the degradation .......

I don't understand why this is a problem. Just provide a few very-well-marked, separate stalls of their own in a different location. It seems like a perfect compromise. Trans students would not feel forced into using a bathroom they're no longer comfortable in because they'd have their very own dedicated space? It seems to me that we'd be providing our trans poopers with a simple way to overcome their frightful, harrowing restroom anxiety and that can only be a good thing. Right?

Seems that the Supreme Court is saying let this play out in the lower courts before it get's kicked up to the Supreme Court. Unfortunately, this means years of potential damage (on both sides) done while this all palys out in court.

In college 1980 the mens room of the engineering bldg became popular as a homosexual hookup by people from a nearby community. When we went in to use it there moans from the stalls. Used condoms were scattered on the floor. To discourage the activity management took all the doors off the stalls eliminating privacy. It didn't work. Finally they placed campus police at the doors checking student IDs.

A girl posing as a man/boy is little threat to actual boys. Unlike the other way around.

I agree with #22. Often, the SCOTUS rejects cases in which the facts, circumstances, or local law fail to present an ideal case for consideration by the high court. They like to wait for a while until the ideal case presents itself. The court receives well over 2,000 appeals for certiorari (consideration by the court) every year. On a case like this, they may choose to bide their time until a really compelling case is brought up for appeal.
Maybe Roberts saw a photograph of the female who wanted to use the men's restroom and he decided she posed little threat to herself or to males if she stomped her feet and insisted on "hanging out" with the boys.
