Hurricane Erin strengthened back into a Category 4 behemoth over the weekend, the latest shift in what has been a remarkably fast-changing storm.
The hurricane’s behavior in recent days makes it one of the fastest-strengthening Atlantic hurricanes on record and yet another indication that climate change is increasing the risk of rapidly intensifying storms.
Erin became the first hurricane of this year’s Atlantic season Friday and exploded in strength from a Category 1 into a Category 5 storm in a little over 24 hours. Even after it weakened and re-strengthened into a Category 4 storm, Erin’s jaw-dropping transformation ranks it among the five storms

In 1980, Hurricane Allen achieved Category 5 status three times during its run from east to west. Nobody blamed "climate change" then. What's happening in the tropics is about the same as always. Humanity has zero control. Same as the animal kingdom, we must adapt to weather. Hide from the wind; run from the water.

Technology advances - we observe and measure more frequently and more accurately and precisely. We are still on a learning curve about weather and each weather system studied adds to the knowledge. Hurricanes are weather - not climate. As for global warming the real money us on the AMOC and an impending Ice Age.
IMO too many "Experts/scientists" are just like paid pollsters who provide their patrons with the results they to believe. Same for "journalists".

Good grief. Give it a rest. They have hammered this doomsday scenario for so long that the climatistas have jumped the shark. Hurricanes are indeed dangerous but they have been around for millenia. One of the big problems is so much more population and construction on our coasts. I know the locations are beautiful and desirable but you have to decide if you want to take the risk. Some of them can still get inland and do a lot of damage but life itself is a risk.

"Scientists know that warm sea surface temperatures, moist air and favorable atmospheric conditions are necessary pieces of the puzzle, but understanding how it will happen for specific storms — and when — will require more research."
In other words, "scientists" don't understand what is really happening with storm development so attributing it to climate change or any cause is presumptuous. Of course that never stops them from declaring unproven things, especially when it comes to "climate change". There is also the normal excessive dose of liberal reporting that takes limited information and assigns it unjustified meaning.

we are getting tired of this half measure gloom and dooming, they need to cut out the middlemen, go right to the root source of Hurricanes....fly a hundred planes stuffed with hundred dollar bills and dump that cash into the deserts of NW Africa where all of these things originate. The money seems to be "wasted" on research, maybe sacrificing it directly to the Desert Gods will fix things.(We can try dumping $trillions into volcanoes next)

Dear fearful Climate Change Believers and Fear Mongers, read Psalm 104 and Believe Reality, then “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.”Ecclesiastes 12:13
Psalm 104:
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul!O Lord my God, You are very great:You are clothed with honor and majesty,2Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment,Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. 3 He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, 4 Who makes His angels spirits,His ministers a flame of fire. 5 You who laid the foundations of the earth, So that it should not be moved forever, 6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment; The waters stood above the mountains. 7 At Your rebuke they fled; At the voice of Your thunder they hastened away. 8 They went up over the mountains; They went down into the valleys,
To the place which You founded for them. 9 You have set a boundary that they may not pass over, That they may not return to cover the earth. 10 He sends the springs into the valleys; They flow among the hills. 11 They give drink to every beast of the field; The wild donkeys quench their thirst. 12 By them the birds of the heavens have their home; They sing among the branches.13 He waters the hills from His upper chambers; The earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. 14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth, 15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart. 16 The trees of the Lord are full of sap, The cedars of Lebanon which He planted, 17 Where the birds make their nests; The stork has her home in the fir trees. 18 The high hills are for the wild goats; The cliffs are a refuge for the rock badgers. 19 He appointed the moon for seasons; The sun knows it’s going down. 20 You make darkness, and it is night, In which all the beasts of the forest creep about. 21 The young lions roar after their prey, And seek their food from God. 22 When the sun rises, they gather together And lie down in their dens. 23 Man goes out to his work And to his labor until the evening. 24 O Lord, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—25 This great and wide sea, In which are innumerable teeming things, Living things both small and great. 26 There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there. 27 These all wait for You, That You may give them their food in due season. 28 What You give them they gather in; You open Your hand, they are filled with good. 29 You hide Your face, they are troubled; You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust. 30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; And You renew the face of the earth. 31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever; May the Lord rejoice in His works. 32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke. 33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 May my meditation be sweet to Him; I will be glad in the Lord. 35 May sinners be consumed from the earth, And the wicked be no more.
Bless the Lord, O my soul! Praise the Lord!

Yes. It is climate change. But not Climate Change. What is causing it is the fluctuations of solar output and variations of the earth’s orbit and axis of rotation. Human activity has increased and is causing more pollution. Which is what we should be focused on.

if the moon is gelogically active, its ejecta will turn into dust and orbit the Earth and drop into the atmosphere, conveying anomalous angular momentum, and they will do more of that in the season around the equinox and in eclipse seasons. There has never been anything importantly wrong wtih the idea of an Earth ring except that the Moon was thought dead, and ilunar geological activity is the key. The odd behavior of hurricanes make sense if there is dust dropping in, bringing odd angular momentum in their own seasonal and regional pattern while the Earth turns. please note where I say IF and where I tell you the weaknesses of my favorite theory. This is what earnest science looks like. If, IF. maybe. but on the other hand.

Even though the Serenity Prayer is not found in the Bible, it would seem these people have a difficult time accepting that weather is not something that can be changed.

On seeing the headline, my first thought was 'Climate Lie du jour'.
You L-Dotters before me have it covered pretty well.
#48, the people who believe this garbage are those "American who get their news from ABC News".
(ABC, the All Barack/Biden Channel).
The only reason for all the Bovine Scatology is that the Left uses it as a tool for CONTROL.
Think of all the laws and restrictions put on us based on this nonsense.... all the 'energy saving' regulations on appliances from air conditioners to furnaces to water heaters to dishwashers, all the 'Corporate Average Fuel Economy' regulations and the actions of various governments to FORCE people out of their gas cars and Diesel trucks, and FORCE people to switch to Electric cars and trucks, all the 'Energy conserving' features FORCED onto people through the building codes. Think about all the money spent on Chinese solar panels and those huge bird-chopping Chinese windmills (which are oddly exempt from the severe penalties for killing certain types of birds that would put any of US in prison for years). By the way, what to do with those huge, NON-Recyclable Turbine Blades when they 'age out' and have to be replaced?
Meantime, the Chicoms are putting TWO new large COAL-Fired power plants into service EVERY WEEK, with no signs of slowing down. China now burns about HALF of all the COAL burned worldwide. But China is a self-declared 'Developing Nation' and has declared themselves EXEMPT from all the UN 'Climate Change' garbage.
This is the biggest, most expensive HOAX ever perpetrated in Human History!

Climate change has been around since the beginning of time. The scriptures clearly teach us that the Lord is in control of the weather.
“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” Genesis 8:22.
15 "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together."Colossians 1:15-17.
