The Washington, DC, Police Union is backing President Donald Trump’s call to take federal control of Washington, DC, due to rampant crime. Gregg Pemberton, the chairman of the union, released a statement Monday afternoon on the heels of Trump’s executive action to federalize the Metropolitan Police Department. “We stand with the President in recognizing that Washington, DC, cannot continue on this trajectory. Crime is out of control, and our officers are stretched beyond their limits,”. “The federal intervention is a critical stopgap, but the MPD needs proper staffing and support to thrive,”. ‘This can only happen by repealing the disastrous policies that have driven out our best officers..”

This story will not make it to the propaganda machine, you know who they are, instead they will be sticking with their never ending 'Get Trump!' strategy, which will put them in the position of defending the criminals again.

As long as democrats run DC, it will always be a you-know-what-hole. I watched a stupid, ignorant group of mostly black people demand that Trump not do something about crime in DC. Some nuthead commentator on CNN or one of those dead entertainment news shows said he was boiling and trying to get his anger under control because of Trump taking over the city. They're all saying the same thing, so we know it's a concentrated effort. Imagine, begging someone not to save you. It's suicide. Except these dumb nuts think crime will skip over them and get conservatives or the people they represent and don't care about. By the way, where is Rep. Henry Cuellar since he was carjacked? I'm sure he's still being a braindead democrat, but you don't hear much from him since he got his dose of reality.

DC, as capital of the nation, should be governed by the entire nation. Now, the City is governed by a constituancy of synchophants and criminals. President Trump has taken the first step to 'nationalize' the district, to advance the best interests of all US citizens.

If Trump can turn this around maybe enough voters in Philadelphia, Detroit, Buffalo, (well, I guess name ANY city run by Democrats) will see there is a solution and the people they are electing aren't providing it!

And another union flips to the republican side. Things are great when it became allowable for unions to question just why their leadership automatically endorsed democrats. Winning, wining, not tired of winning yet.

Of course the DC police like President Trump's move to help them do their jobs....maybe now they can get the criminals off the streets of Washington DC....and the mayor is suddenly caught off guard...and tries to medicate the damage to her city....where has she been for the last five years....OMG...suddenly she sees the crime...and her DEI/WOKE police chief is a joke...why is it always a woman running our cities into the ground...don't like woman is positions of power...unless President Trump has appointed them....go judge Pirro....

DC is not a state. It's the seat of the nation, and Trump has every legal right to bring in the NG or even the Green Berets if he needs them. The decent and honest blacks will support this, even if they can't say so out loud. The murder rate among blacks is appalling and a national tragedy. The left doesn't seem to really care that they are human beings and getting killed every day. Just political pawns for them.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been inundated with applications in the two weeks since it launched a major recruitment campaign. The Department of Homeland Security announced Tuesday morning that ICE has received 100,000 applications in less than 15 days from “patriotic Americans who want to help remove murderers, gang members, pedophiles, and terrorists” from the United States. In order to attract more recruits, ICE lifted age restrictions on hiring. Previously, applicants were limited to a minimum age of 21 and could be no older than 40. New hires will be eligible for a one-time bonus of up to $50,000, up to $60,000 in student loan repayment, and other incentives

The state of Oklahoma is undertaking a first-in-the-nation initiative emptying jails and prisons of criminal illegal immigrants by sending them directly to federal immigration authorities at the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Over the past nine months, the state has developed a plan for turning over more than 500 locked-up criminals to ICE for deportation. It sounds like a simple task, but Gov. Kevin Stitt (R-OK) has said he wants to cut through the red tape — and in some cases, sentences — to save taxpayers money and get what President Donald Trump’s administration has referred to as the “worst of the worst” out of the state and country.

The University of California is discriminating against students who are undocumented immigrants by refusing to hire most of them for campus jobs unless they have work authorization from the federal government, a state appeals court ruled Tuesday. UC offers employment to the small number of immigrants known as Deferred Access to Childhood Arrivals, or DACA. But the university has a longstanding policy of denying jobs to other undocumented migrants who lack federal work permits, saying it is unwilling to risk potentially costly legal actions by U.S. officials. On Tuesday, the court said UC’s policy “discriminates based on immigration status” and may violate California’s employment law.

A federal appeals court on Friday allowed President Trump to move forward with an order instructing a broad swath of government agencies to end collective bargaining with federal unions. The ruling authorizes a component of Mr. Trump’s sweeping effort to assert more control over the federal work force to move forward, for now, while the case plays out in court. The appeals court noted that the affected agencies had been directed to refrain from ending any collective bargaining agreement until “litigation has concluded,” but also noted that Mr. Trump was now free to follow through with the order at his discretion.
