U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro on Monday briefly morphed into the Fox News host whose rapier-like response sent liberals quivering. Pirro spoke with the media to add her endorsement to President Donald Trump’s plan to reduce crime in the District of Columbia by calling out the National Guard and putting the Metropolitan Police Department under federal control. Jeanine Pirro is perfectly cast for her current job. And she doesn't mince around. Shed uses language that these young street thugs understand. "They beat the hell out of..." There is no other way to describe what they did to the young Doge staffer. I say "Brava, Jeanine!!!!...go get 'em."

Funny how that works out: If you don't report the crimes to the FBI, the FBI thinks there are less crimes.

The crime statistics have decreased because the DC police leadership has instructed its senior staff not to report many crimes. The police in DC dismiss and refuse to file reports for crimes, just like they did in Cincinnati against the restaurant patrons whose beatings were recorded by onlookers. Daniel Patrick Moynihan nailed this decades ago when he said these cities were "defining deviancy down."

Trayvon Martin was a perfect example of what can happen when a jurisdiction wants its crime statistics to look good. Found to have a bag full of burglary tools in his high school locker and a likely suspect for burglaries that had occurred on the route he'd have taken to and from school. The school district wanted crime stats - particularly for minorities - to look better. So his bag of tools was hidden and he was not reported to law enforcement. An incorrigible truant. He was undoubtedly "casing" homes of new victims when Neighborhood Watchman George Zimmerman caught him walking up to the fronts of homes, peering in windows.. The rest is history. But this was all about school district statistics.

She is the right person for this moment. I'd back her every step of the way. You are not going to ruffle her feathers, she will not back down and no one will pull the wool over her eyes. If you ask her a question you had better be ready for a forthright answer. Trump is not the problem the criminal is and all the weebie butt kissers who want to make excuses. And I would like to talk about the elephant in the room. What is the racial makeup of these criminals?

PS Did a quick look up. "In DC, eight of ten adults arrested for crime are African American, though they make up 47.6% of the adult population". I wonder what the juvenile stats are? Of course I realize that not every person arrested is guilty. But these numbers are overwhelming.

This is part of the Democrat scam to talk about some insignificant reduction or improvement, all depends on what they're trying to boast about or defend, as making "progress". Sounds great and has usually been enough to fool just enough voters over the years. That's until they realize "my child can't read or do arithmetic very well why were they saying he/she was doing better"? Or, what do you mean crime is down? When it may only be 0.001% down - Democrats will say they're making progress without explaining any details that it's barely statistically down. Watching her on The View, I could tell that this was a judge who knew crime and criminals. I was overjoyed when she was picked...a hangin' judge. It's long past time for an honest look at (mostly) black crime in DC. Black people are also suffering more than whites but the Democrats seem to think that they are not humans with aspirations and families to mourn them. Teenagers shot dead with their whole lives before them, others serving life for murder or locked up for violent crimes and now unemployable for the rest of their lives. On and on yet the Democrats accuse honest citizens of racism or a lack of caring. It's the Democrats who have destroyed our black communities not conservatives.

NEW YORK — Affordability was at the center of Zohran Mamdani’s winning primary campaign for New York City mayor. President Donald Trump has become the focus of his general election bid. The Democratic nominee launched a five-borough tour “against Trump” on Monday to amplify how he believes the president will harm New York City — and why Mamdani thinks he should be elected to lead the vanguard. He’s also tying opponents Andrew Cuomo, Eric Adams and Curtis Sliwa closely to Trump, adopting a classic Democratic general election playbook by casting two fellow Democrats and the GOP nominee as the president’s
