'Irony' Can Mean The Moment When Reality
Catches Up With You

Original Article

Irony is a term whose meaning is elusive and which escapes precise definition. A lot of people think they know what it means when they actually don’t. About the best that can be said is that irony is the quality of a situation in which not only are prospects ruined and even reversed, but done so resoundingly – irony not only wrecks your plans, but does so while turning you into an object lesson. Irony occurs when the postman rings twice for the drifter Frank Chambers, who is arrested, tried, and executed not for the murder he unquestionably committed, but for the accidental death over which he had no responsibility.

They tried it all. Every blatant trick, voter fraud, false indictments or lying smear to keep the one man they feared and hated out of the WH. They thought they could keep power and turn this country into a Neo-Marxist hellhole with them in complete charge and with authoritarian rule or worse. Complete control in what you say, or think. All the trappings of a real dictatorship with their leaders to rule. They misjudged the man and will pay the price. They made a mistake. Biden and his cabal were wrecking our country and our culture. Open borders, catching and releasing criminals to rob and kill again, trans madness, killing the economy and throwing away our tax money to force, windmills and solar and unreliable EVs that are costly and rolling firebombs. I could go on and on. It's a wonder that Trump, the most resilient man to ever hold the office, overcame it all. Shot once and dodged a second attempt on his life. The vile posters and loons on the left actually said that they regretted Crooks only grazed him and wished that he had been successful and murdered him. Maybe God is giving us one more chance. Let's not waste it.

Reading this article, I kept thinking of the old saying "if you're going to take a shot at the king, you'd better not miss." Well, they threw everything they had at the king, including live ammo, and they whiffed like me trying to bat against Nolan Ryan. And the king, having learned the lessons from his first reign, is now using his powers to seek retribution against those who sought to destroy him. The Rats are nowhere near as clever, nor as competent, as they think they are, and now they're about to pay a heavy price for their poor decisions and their failure to execute those decisions. If there is real justice in this country, the lot of them will end up dangling from a tall tree and a short rope.

"When the Democrats went after Donald Trump, they thought they couldn’t lose." AND they decided that they could do whatever they wanted to accomplish their goals. They thought they ignore law, tradition, and decency. They exposed their true selves and BOY, it is ugly. THANK GOD that Trump is made of amazingly tough stuff and not only survived but triumphed. Now what they did is being exposed and it was so blatant and bad that they cannot hid it or skate by it. Further, Trump has broken them. He seriously crippled the media in his first term simply by calling them out. Still the dems/Deep State/Media worked together to push lies. The public found it hard to believe that all three of these sources would be working together to lie, but they were. Now, the dems got creamed in the election and the Deep State is being ripped out of government. The evidence against the unholy triumvirate has been discovered and all three divisions have lost credibility. When Trump speaks and acts, they have much less power against him and they are being unraveled more with each of their failures. The last piece is the shift of the courts rightward, especially the SCOTUS, in Trump's first term. Now, the Constitution and law hold the weight that they should and the Left is losing ground rapidly. Their loses expose their illegal actions and allows Trump to get rid of them, with prejudice. Even BO is facing an accounting for his actions. While he might not be held legally accountable, his reputation and clout is being shredded and his future activities will be held up to scrutiny and accountability. Why would we want to deal with such evil people as dems have turned out to be. It is impossible to have a good government run by such people.

Hard-hitting, honest analysis. The only point with which I disagree is that anything distinguishes us from a banana republic, unless it's simply the absence of bananas. We experience the same corruption, greed, abuse, theft and murder perpetrated by people like Idi Amin.

I missed Rachel K. Paulose’s column about George Floyd—sorry, Saint George Floyd—when it appeared in The Spectator World at the end of May. Knowing of my interest in the case, a public-spirited individual brought the column to my attention. I thought it was an appalling regurgitation of the established, but erroneous, narrative about the larcenous, drug-and-woman-abusing miscreant George Floyd and the former police officer primarily involved in his arrest.
Democrats Aren’t Hiding It Anymore:

Democrats have dropped all pretense—they’re openly plotting to seize and rig the system the instant they claw back power. This isn’t quiet maneuvering in smoke-filled rooms. It’s a bold, almost taunting declaration that the rules no longer apply to them, and that the very foundations of fair governance are expendable. In Texas, Democrats staged one of their most brazen stunts yet, fleeing the state in a calculated bid to break quorum and derail a Republican redistricting plan aimed at reflecting Texas’s actual political makeup. And at a rally in Fort Worth, former Congressman Beto O’Rourke didn’t just cheer them on—he glorified their stunt

Democrats have been wetting themselves over the past week about the idea of Texas redistricting their Congressional seats like, well, Democrats have in the states they control. They can’t handle it; they won’t handle it. Honestly, I don’t care. As Democrats flee Texas like roaches when the light is flipped on, let them destroy it all. We had a good run, right? There comes a time when it is simply no longer worth it, doesn’t there? I mean, 249 years is a pretty good run for a republic. They’re usually destroyed by leftists looking to do things with government power long before now.

Rachel Maddow is at it again — eyes to the heavens, voice quivering, as if she’s about to narrate the final act of a Ken Burns documentary entitled “America: The Dark Years.” This week’s cliffhanger? “We have a consolidating dictatorship in our country.” In Maddow’s latest monologue, she painted Trump’s America as a police-state nightmare — “secret police” supposedly prowling for immigrants, civil life grinding to a halt, the entire nation undergoing a “profound” transformation in just six months. If you closed your eyes, you’d think she was describing Venezuela with better lighting. Now, I understand Rachel’s job is to frighten the MSNBC faithful into thinking every Trump policy

Her current salary is $174,000 per year. Nevertheless, Paul and Nancy Pelosi are estimated to be worth around $413 million, up from a “mere” $370 million just two years ago. For ages, if there was a way to subvert the law for electoral advantage, the Democrats would do it, but under new leadership Republicans are fighting back. If you accurately read the Democrats’ nonsense about “saving our democracy” as a plaint about saving their party, you wouldn’t be wrong. Just as these domestic outrages are being undone, the President has brokered a series of seven international peace agreements and is negotiating for an eighth (between Russia and Ukraine) this week in Alaska.
